The support software isnt working on the website !

omg , can someone please change the link to download the software
because i lost my software installation cd & it says if i lost it , i can download
it on the website but the links dont work so yeah someone needs to fix it !

    Downloading the support software only works if you are running Lion or if you have a computer, Macbook Air, that does not have an optical drive. Your post says you are running Snow Leopard. The support software/drivers are on your Snow Leopard installation disk.

    Instead of downloading the Windows support software from Boot Camp Assistant, download it from the Support site to avoid problems. As you have a 2012 iMac, you have to download this support software version > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1638 Note that this Windows support software only works in 64-bit Windows 7 and 8

  • I installed windows 7 with bootcamp, also the support software with the drivers. Everything works fine, but my usb hubs don't work on windows. Can Anybody help me?I´m using an iMac with OSX.

    I Installed windows with bootcamp on my imac, with the support software(drivers,etc).
    Windows works perfectly appart from the usb hubs.

    I get a problem like yours. I have a mac mini with 2 hdds the server and hd2 I installed windows 7 and the windows works fine. except it will not allow me to get on the net.  I get error 651.  I can boot back to lion and the internet connection works. I googled and error 651 does seem to show up.  I would like  a work around.

    Did you correctly format your usb stick in accordance with the Boot Camp installation instructions? Go here to the Boot Camp System Requirements page, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5634, look for your computer model/year and download the correct version of Windows Support software.

    I am trying to access course compass. It is a school website and is only compatible with firefox 3. I upgraded to firefox 4 and now i cant access the website. I have tried to change the proxy settings but that didn't work. I tried to download an older version of firefox and firefox wouldn't let me. I just need to access this website.

  • Links in some of the websites I use no longer work now that I downloaded the update

    Some of the links in a site I use are no longer working now that I have done the software update.
    Ie.. I use an online canteen programme to order lunch for my kids but now I can no longer use some of the websites links.  I've contacted the company and they think its an iOS update issue and have stated its out of their control- how can I rectify this?

    Welcome to the Apple Support Community!
    I know it must be frustrating when a website that you normally use is no longer working the way you would expect. The first thing I would suggest looking at your cookies in Settings > Safari. Please reference the attached article for further information. The article goes up to iOS 7 but the settings are in the same place in iOS 8.

When you go to turn it on, it shows the Apple symbol,  then it goes to the connect to iTunes screen. When I do that, it just says error with the code 9006. I've followed what the Apple site has said to do for it, but the phone is still is the same  state. Is there anything I can do? I need my phone back as soon as possible.

    I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you're experiencing after this update process.  I found the following article that has more information on the iTunes error code 9006:

    Configure your security software
    Related errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1000, 1611, 9006, 9807, or 9844. Sometimes as a result of this issue, a device might stop responding during the restore process.
    Check your security software and settings, which can block ports and prevent connection to Apple servers during update and restore.

    At last i did some experiments and it solved my problem... heres the solution :
    1. Install the reliance drivers and software from their website.
    2. As the reliance software is not supported my mavericks it wont open, but dont worry.
    3. Now after installation go to system preferences->network->and select  "ZTE Wireless Terminal".
    4. Configuration: Default
         Telephone number: #777
         Account name and password should be the owners number.
    5.Finish ! press apply and click Connect...
       Enjoy browsing !!!
