The system don't goes up after Upgrade to 10g
Hello friends. After a Oracle upgrade of 9i to 10g (Windows 2003 / Basis Release 46D). The system SAP R/3 4.6C don't goes up. A follow message is the error in file "dev_w0":

To understand the problem I run the follow command into "sqlplus":
SQL> select * from svers;

Thank's to everyone for help me and understand my very bad english.

Hi,
It looks like you have some "wrong" concepts.
First you say that:
<b>Now in WS1, there is no schema</b>
later on you are telling
<b>have then check the command
select * from SAPBOS.SVERS and it worked.</b>
So, do you have a schema or don't you?
Let me try to understand what you have done, for your description
1) you have a system called BOS. On this system you have a schema called SAPBOS.
2) you did a system copy from BOS to W1S. Guessing -> You did a restore from a BOS
Now your SAPW1S has "dissapeared"
am I understandin it properly?
If so, you should think a little.
You have restored a backup from BOS ( DB name BOS, SCHEMA BOS, tablespace names PSAPBOS ) into W1S
Restoring a backup will not change the schema name ( AFAIK, there is no simple way of doing so )
Restoring a backup will not change the tablespaces names ( in Oracle 10g you can do this, but has to be done manually )
Restoring the backup will not change the DB name. The System copy procedure ask you to create a script that will perform this last change.
So, at the end of the process you have a DB called W1S, with a schema called SAPBOS and tablespaces called PSAPBOS.
As mentioned before there is no simple way of changing the schema name.
If you <b>need/want/desire</b> to do so then you cannot use BACKUP/RESTORE for system copies. You must use the R3Load method ( take all data out of the DB and then take all the data in on the new system )

The iMac CPU fan going ape **** after upgrade
Just installed Mountain Lion - result: CPU fan is at 3000 RPM constantly. CPU temperature 50 celcuis, GPU around 70. Nothing serious is running - just Safari iTunes and Mail.
Any suggesions? If you're running ESET Cybersecurity you may need to upgrade. Older versions have been causing a crash in the Launch files which means reportcrash constantly triggers (drains battery and kicks in the fans).
Here's the fix...
First, check you've got a problem with crashreport (run Activity Monitor and select 'All processes'). If crashreport is at the top of the list with 100+ % CPU time and you have ESET then it's possibly this issue.
Go to Eset website and download the latest version of Cybersecurity and run the dmg file once downloaded. Click the 'uninstall' button to remove and you should (hopefully, as I did) see the crashreport stop. You can then reinstall ESET (I have done with the newer version with no problem).
I'm not sure if a straight install over the top (upgrade) will work - easy to uninstall and reinstall in a few mins anyway.
I hope this helps a lot of people out! -
I don't see the 'Enter' or 'Go' to button after upgrading to ios 7.0.2. Weird screen with just "Enter passcode" and a horizontal entry strip to enter password. there is only 'Done' on keyboard. When i hit 'Done' button screen shakes for a sec and resets the password. I remember my password very well. Need immediate help. Thanks. Must add that i had to restore the ipad from backup after 7.0.2 upgrade
iPhone required a proper restart. After restart both issues were gone.

Why has my ipad lost connectivity to the AT&T cellular data network after upgrading to iOS 8.1.2? My iPad is model #MD367LL/A, 32 GB WIFI + Cellular, about 2-1/2 years old. It;s been working perfectly up until now. I have no problem on my home WIFI, or through personal hotspot working through my iPhone 5.
I have worked with AT&T, replaced the SIM card with a new one, and done a backup/restore to factory settings, all with the same result that when I turn Cellular
Data on, with or without Enable LTE, it goes into "searching" mode, or reports "no service". My iPhone 5 works perfectly on iOS 8.1.2, on Cellular. I've browsed the blogs and have tried Apple's suggested fix, all to no result.
Oddly enough, every once in a while I do get connected to the network for a short ime (minutes), but it always returns to "searching".
I've filed a report with Apple, along with a request that they contact me, but no results yet.
Help? (and thank you).Hello razmee209. Thank you for your response. I spent the better part of yesterday working with Apple Support. They tried their best, to include backing up photos to my HP laptop, backing up the iPad to iCloud, then resetting the iPad in total. Same problem. I restored from the cloud to recover my apps, same problem.
AT&T installed a new sim card - same problem. I spent time with AT&T Support yesterday, too. In both cases, (Apple and AT&T) the support techs who worked with me were extremely polite, courteous and helpful to the best of their abilities, but I think the problem lies deeper, and nobody at Apple is admitting they have a problem with iOS 8, that I'm aware of.
I didn't have this issue before I upgraded to iOS 8.1.2.
Everything else with the iPad works fine: WIFI, Personal Hotspot, email, all my apps, etc.
In browsing the web for this issue I see that many other folks have the same problem. I filed a report with Apple this morning, requesting that they contact me, but no word yet. I was going to go to iPhone 6, and had been considering the iPad Air 2, but I see reports of this problem with those units as well.
At this point I don't think I'll be spending any more money with Apple, at least not till this issue is resolved.
Thanks again for your response and suggestions. -
I have two different 5s's with two different phone numbers but they are both using the same iCloud/apple account. After upgrading to iOS8 when I get a phone call on one phone both phones ring. One phone is for work and one is for private and I don't need both phones to ring from one call. It's bizarre.......is this supposed to be like this? If so where can I turn it off?? And while we are at it iOS8 has installed iBooks on both of my phones and iTunes won't let me uninstall it. I don't need or want iBooks on my phones.
Hi,
There are two easy fixes to this.
One, you can set up Family Sharing, in which you can have two different iCloud Accounts, yet still share the same apps, music, media etc.
Two, go to Settings and turn-off "Handoff". This can be found under the General page.
Hope this helps! -
Here is my problem: "To open "Adobe Photoshop CS5.1" you need to install the legacy Java SE 6 RUNTIME" after upgrading iMac to Yosemite, can anybody help?
This answer may be somewhat late, but just in case other have the same issues, I went to site listed below and it solved the problem. No need to reinstall CS5 product. I hope this works for you.

Siri's voice in the UK is muffled and robotic after upgrading to ios7. Does anyone have a solution?
I know that it mispronounced things a bit in ios6, but this is a lot worse! The American voices seem ok.this is expected, it happened on iOS 6 too. whenever you restore your iPhone, it will take a while for it to download additional content (like the Siri tone, etc).
I had this exactsame thing happen a few months ago on iOS 6. Best bet, wait about 24 hours, and it will be perfect! Even better sounding -

Why dont the apps on my iphone4 work after upgrading to 5.1?
why dont the apps on my iphone4 work after upgrading to 5.1?
Hmm this is interesting, so far ios6 is actually ALOT less laggy and less crashes for me on my iphone4 than ios5.1.1 with the exception of the new apps store app, it crashes all the time. My ipad2 is the device thats giving me MAJOR lag and crashes with ios6. Im thinking about trying a restore to see if that fixes it. You might want to try the same if you havnt already. I still kinda think this version of iOS is iOS vista edition lol

The system requirements are always kept to upgrade EFI 2.2.
Installation process is not unusual, but it seems that the installation is unsuccessful, the system requirements are always kept to upgrade EFI 2.2. Please expert guidance.
System is Mac 10.7.2
Thanks.No. If the environment would be wrong the system wouldn´t start up.
Core dumps are in 99 % of the cases program errors (in the SAP kernel or in an interface (libdbora*)), misaligend accesses of data etc.
If you encounter such an error have a look in the C-Stack. If you can´t see where the error is happening opening an OSS call. Most of those errors are fixed by installing the latest patches for the kernel and the database interface.

Why does the ipad 2 speaker stopped working after upgrading to ios 8
WWhy does the iPad 2 speaker stopped working after upgrading to ios 8 why plz respond
Hi A_S85,
It appears your iPhone has an issue relating to sound. The following article may help you find a solution:
If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker - Apple Support
Can't hear anything from the built-in speaker of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch? Maybe you can hear, but the sound is distorted, muffled, intermittent. Or maybe you hear static or crackling noises. If your iOS device has any of these issues, follow these steps.
Follow these steps and test the sound after each one.
Go to Settings > Sounds and drag the Ringer And Alerts slider to turn the volume up.
If you can hear sound from the speaker, then the speaker works. Continue with these steps to find the setting or switch that's affecting the sound. If you can't hear sound from the speaker, contact Apple Support.
Make sure the Ring/Silent switch is set to ring. If you can see orange, it's set to silent.
Restart your device.
Open an app that has music or sound effects. Adjust the volume with the volume buttons or the slider in Control Center.
Go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn off Bluetooth.
If there's still no sound, connect a headset. If you can hear sound through the headset, remove it and clear any dust or debris from the headset jack of your device.
If the device is in a case, make sure that the case doesn't block the speaker.
Use a brush to gently clear any debris from the speaker and Lightning connector (or 30-pin dock connector). The brush should be clean and dry and have soft bristles.
Update your device to the latest version of iOS.
If you followed these steps and still hear no sound or distorted sound, contact Apple Support.
Thank you for contributing to Apple Support Communities.
Take care,

Select after upgrade 9i - 10g runs slowly thousand times - urgent
I have select which runs around one second on Oracle 9. After upgrade to 10g this select runs more than two hours. I compute statistics on all tables, all columns and all indexes. This select consist from two parts - every part run on oracle 10g around 0.5 second but together more than 2 hours. When I rewrite it using WITH clausule, it runs 2 second. But I don't want to rewrite selects .. I want to find why it runs slow on 10g.
Below are original and rewrited select with their execution plans.
Any idea or recomendation?

VladaVlada,
could you please post an properly formatted explain plan output using DBMS_XPLAN.DISPLAY including the "Predicate Information" section below the plan to provide more details regarding your statement. Please use the \[code\] and \[code\] tags to enhance readability of the output provided:
In SQL*Plus:
SET LINESIZE 130
EXPLAIN PLAN FOR <your statement>;
SELECT * FROM TABLE(DBMS_XPLAN.DISPLAY);In order to get a better understanding where your statement spends the time you might want to turn on SQL trace as described here:
[When your query takes too long|http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=501834]
and post the "tkprof" output here, too.
Could you also provide the information which version of 10g you're currently using? (4-digit version number). Note that 10g introduced a couple of significant changes including CPU costing enabled by default and a different default setting of DBMS_STATS regarding column histograms.
So you might want to re-gather the statistics using the method_opt parameter of the DBMS_STATS.GATHER__STATS procedures explicitly defined as "FOR ALL COLUMNS SIZE 1" to mimic the 9i behaviour.
You also might want to try the "OPTIMIZER_FEATURES_ENABLE" session setting set to "9.2.0" in order to find out if any of the new optimizer features could be causing the issue if re-gathering the statistics as suggested above doesn't make a difference.
Do you know if the tables/indexes in your 9i database also had reasonable statistics?
Regards,
Randolf
