The target file cannot be created

I'm trying to output an Adobe Bridge Lightroom Flash gallery.
I keep getting the following error message ad nauseum.
The target file cannot be created.
There are two possible reasons:
1. Disk space is innsufficient.
2. The target file path is too long.
I've never had this happen before.
I've worked on this file for two weeks, and NEED IT OUTPUTED. It's for a major newspaper regarding HDR photos of Japan's 3.11.11 disaster.
I cleared out the cache. So it can't be anything like that.
It's the latest version of Bridge.
I'm on a new iMac with 2g storage, and 16g memory. Mac Lion. Blah, blah, blah.
Is there a lame built in limitation on how many photos can be used? I'm using 300 photos. I've had no issues outputting 200 before.
Setting for view sizes are 800, 800, 75, 100.
Look, if you DON'T know specifically, don't chime in. I've tried some poor advice which has resulted in having to reorder 300 files, which wasnt fun.
This is a seriously and timely issue, as the deadline approaches, and I need to get this pathetic problem resolved.
PS, Adobe Bridge SUCKS!

I've had the exact same issue here as well. Phone support is does not work with this product and I've been in Chat "Hold" for 3 hours now.  I've replaced the output module, checked and verified all permissions, cleared all preferences, with no avail.
I have not had any issue with uploading galleries for the past year, and now, all of a sudden, issues.
iMac 27", Yosemite, 16GB Mem, 800 GB space, no permissions issues as I've also tried to just save the gallery to my desktop and upload via ftp client, but Bridge says location does not exist, which, ha, it does, because its on the hard drive....

  • ABAP CLASSES - XI don't create the Target File..

    Hallo,
I have a problema in XI when I use an ABAP Class.
    This is My FLOW:
    1) R/3 SEND an IDOC DEBMAS to XI un idoc DEBMAS(Customer data)
    2) XI have this Interface Mapping: Interface_Mapping_Anagrafica_Cliente.
    It si composed on:
    - Input: IDOC (DEBMAS)
    - 1° Mapping      ==> named: Message_Mapping_Anagrafica_Cliente
This mapping, from IDOC DEBMAS, create the message type Message_Type_Anagrafica_Cliente.
    - 2° Mapping      ==> Classe ABAP
This mapping, from Message_Type_Anagrafica_Cliente create the message type Message_Type_Click.
    - Output: Message_Type_Click
    3) I want that this Message_Type_Click will be in the file.
But, if I execute the transaction SXMB_MONI in XI, I can see the IDOC OK .. but if I make double click on it, I don't see the Payload for the target file. Infact the target file is not be created by XI...
I have made debug after my class and I found a Problem in the Trace with type E with message: CL_MAPPING_XMS_PLSRV3-ENTER_PLSRV.
    What is this?
    Can you help me?
    Thanks.
    Monia

    Hi Monia,
first put your trace to 3: SXMB_ADM, Integration Engine Configuaration, Specific Configuration, Runtime/Trace Level
Second delete your abap mapping from your interface mapping and look in the monitoring for the output. Is it what you expect? Is it the datatype the abap mapping can work with?
Copy the result as source for the next test. Now you put the ABAP mapping inside and delete the message mapping from your interface mapping. Test with transaction SXI_MAPPING_TEST. Look to the weblog <a href="/people/sameer.shadab/blog/2005/09/29/testing-abap-mapping ABAP Mapping</a> how to test an ABAP mapping.
The problem with more than one mapping program in one interface mapping is that you see only the result of both!

  • Recently purchased song and another I transfered into my ITunes library vannot be set up in a playlist.I get the message"file cannot be located".Originally I could listen to the purchased song but now that will no longer play. What do I need to do to ?

Recently purchased a song from ITunes and another that I downloaded from a CD will not transfer to a playlist and will not even allow me to listen to the songs.I get the message "file cannot be located"What can I do to get my system to locate the file?Originally I could play the songs from my desktop and I was able to transfer to my IPad.

Because the location for each song in your library is on your hard drive.  If the hard drive isn't there, how can iTunes play it?
You'll have to move/copy the music from your hard drive to your computer's hard drive.
Basically, EASIEST way to do all this, if you don't care about your play counts, etc...
-Delete EVERYTHING from iTunes, so that your library is now empty.
-Go to "Advanced" inside of the "Preferences" window, found in the "Edit" drop-down.  You can also access Preferences by pressing Ctrl+, (Press Ctrl and the comma key)
-Change your iTunes Media Folder Location to something simple, but on your computer. I use C:/iTunes.  Make sure "Keep iTunes Media Folder Organized" and "Copy files to...." are both checked.  You can close Preferences now.
-Now, drag and drop your music from your hard drive into your iTunes library.  iTunes will automatically add the music to your library, as you would expect, and also creates a copy of each file to place into that iTunes Media Folder you just created.
    Shouldn't have any more problems...

  • The iPod "iPod" cannot be updated. The required file cannot be found.(again)

tTunes recognizes my iPod and I can download the SONGS onto my iPod, but it gives me that message="The iPod 'iPod' cannot be updated. The required file cannot be found." and my videos and photos can't get onto my iPod.

    I have the same problem.
I can update songs just fine.
Ive restored and re-installed ipod and ipod software like a maniac.
    None of those work.
    D:
I'm thinking theres somthing wrong with iTunes creating a new Ipod Cache folder.....
Or it's a system error that happens when any software/hardware is updates (auto or not) or is changed in any form or way!
    (installed, un-istalled or the like)
It prolly needs to fixed manualy.
(not by reinstalling or update-dating ipod software)
If some one could tell me what to do i'll be more than happy to do it.

  • Ipod cannot update. The required file cannot be found?? Any help please.

    Hi,
I like many others have major problems with my Ipod, we downloaded the Itunes 6 , removed it, went back to 4.9, connected the Ipod, everything got erased. ( but it was still on the computer thank goodness, anyway now I can't put anything back on to my Ipod, it say "Ipod cannot update. The required file cannot be found"
I have Windows Xp Pro 2, what can I do, please lead me in the right direction.
    Thanks

OK - Looks like your iTunes is working and has the songs you expect in it. No need to uninstall iTunes.
Are the Playlists on the iPod only, or are they in iTunes only, or are they on both? Are they populated with the songs you expect?
You can save the Playlists by 'Exporting' them individually to a PC file. Within iTunes, select (highlight) a playlist, go to File==>Export Song List and save the file to a 'Playlists' folder that you create. Save the playlists as a .txt and an .xml file (do both for each playlist: data redundancy is good).
Do you have the original photos that are on the iPod? We will have to Restore the iPod and all data on it will be erased. As you have all the necessary music on iTunes, all we would be concerned about are the photos. Or anything else you haven’t mentioned.
As long as you are satisfied with the state of your iTunes (all music and playlists present and accounted for), then you can comfortably Restore the iPod and place it all back on the unit. Restoring an iPod will not impact your iTunes. It just clears off the iPod's HD and replaces the operating system with a fresh copy. This should correct your inability to download any additional music to the iPod.
Before you proceed with the Restore below, make sure that you have copies of all the data on the iPod so you do not lose anything.
First, make sure that the iPod is fully charged.
Make sure that you have the latest iPod Updater software (if you already do, skip to *)
You also need to install the new Updater software (if applicable) by double-clicking on the file that downloads.
After you install the Updater to your PC, reboot your computer.
    After rebooting, run the Updater.
    * Go to: Start ==> Programs ==> iPod.
It should initialize then ask you to connect an iPod.
Connect the iPod when asked (not before) and you should have two options available: Update or Restore.
-- Choose the Restore option and it will update your iPod's firmware to the latest version and format your iPod's hard drive.
After the Restore complete, re-register the iPod with iTunes, choose your syncing preference and place the music back on the iPod. Do whatever it is you do with the photos (I just have a mini, so no experience with photos), and you should be good to go.
Post back if you have any questions. Especially if you are unsure of anything before you perform any additional processes.

  • XSLT Issue : Without the target file mapping is happening

    Hi,
In one of my composite, which is a provider abcs transforms source to target, where in the transformation file, source and target are mentioned as usual, both are pointing to MDS locations.
Source file is physically present in the MDS, but the target file is not present but still the transformation happening.
    The flow is like below.
ProviderABCS -> Adapter service which will write the file.
Some time the file is created with data and some time only the file is created without data.
My question is how come there is no exception caught ? If i keep the target schema or wsdl file in MDS will this issue get resolved ?
    Thanks,
    Vijay

When i try to open the xslt file with designer view its complaining that the target file is missing, but when i deploy, iam able to deploy and run with some instances.
Still investigating.. wll update you.. soon. In the mean time if any body have any other idea.. plz update the thread.
    Thanks,
    Vijay

  • File name in the target file field

    Hi,
In this below particular blog we are creating the UDF and assigning the output of UDF to a filed in the target file structure.
    /people/sravya.talanki2/blog/2006/12/20/accessing-system-parameters-in-mapping-runtime
And even we are entering the target file name manually in the UDF. Whatever the filename that we enter in the UDF that will also be displayed as the target file name. To do this even we are selecting the adapter specific attributes.
Please correct if my understanding is wrong.
    thanks
    kumar

    Hi Kumar,
<i>Whatever the filename that we enter in the UDF that will also be displayed as the target file name</i>
    Yes
<i>To do this even we are selecting the adapter specific attributes.</i>
"We could be" instead of "we are". If u want to access sender metadata, u should use ASMA.

  • CAN NOT SYNC PHOTOS (Error: "The Required file cannot be found")

    Hey All,
So i got a an iPod Touch today from the Apple Soho Store in NYC. Very Excited.
I am getting an error though when syncing my photos. I created an album for the iPod Touch and am only syncing that.
The error that I get is:
*"The iPod "My iPod Name" cannot be synced. The Required file cannot be found."*
    Things I've tried:
    - Not syncing the photos: Everything works fine
    - Not syncing that album, but another album: Same Error
    - Read up on the same problem on the iPhone: The only solution that I saw that didn't work on some iPhones was to clear the Keywords. I WILL NOT CLEAR MY KEYWORDS.
I am using the most update-to-date versions of iTunes, OS X, and iPhoto 08'.
    Please help!
Oh and by the way if you know how to make it Disk-Enabled. Please tell me. Apple is lame for taking that feature away from the iPod.
    - CW

    Hello,
Explore iphoto library (right click, "show package contents"). There is a folder called iPod Photo Cache. You need to delete the contents of that folder dragging them to the trash. Then sync your iphone again.
    Best,

  • I went to sync my iPhone 4 as usual and when it got to the end stage of the sync where it sync the photos from iPhoto, I get a message pop up that says, "The iPhone cannot be synced. The required file cannot be found." What do I do?

I went to sync my iPhone 4 as usual with my iTunes account on my MacBook Pro and when it got to the end stage of the sync where it syncs with iPhoto, I get a pop up message that says, "The iPhone cannot be synced. The required file cannot be found." What do I do?

Hi. I am having the same problem.
I have updated iPhone software and carrier settings, OSX Lion on the comp and in step 4 of 4 during photo sync about half way through, the error message comes up and now my pics are gone from the phone. I did empty the cache and the problem still persisted. I changed cables, I restored the phone and synced from the back up and even restored and created a new phone identity, still no love.
    I am puzzeled, any suggestions?

  • Error message: The selected file cannot be linked because it has 6 audio channel(s) and the clip was

I recently purchased/upgraded from Premiere Elements 5 to Premiere Elements 9 and I cannot open the projects in version 9 that were created with version 5. It shows it as offline. I get a message to open up a file and when I do i receive the error message: The selected file cannot be linked because it has 6 audio channel(s) and the clip was created with 2 audio channels. Can someone help me or tell what I am doing wrong?  All of my projects that were completed in version 5 cannot be opened up in version 9.
    Thank you.

    Bill,
I ran G-Spot on one of the files and here it what I have:
    DVD "VOB" format
    MPEG-2 Program Stream << { 1 vid, 1 aud }
    Sys Bitrate: 10080 kb/s VBR
I guess I am really confused.  The project that I am trying to open PrE 9 was completed in PrE 3 w/templates , scenes, etc. The movie was burned to a DVD.  I cannot understand why I cannot open it with a newer version of PrE.  According to G-Spot (I am assuming this is what you mean above), it is already in 2 channels.  To me this should be ok.  I put many, many hours into these videos and now it seems all for not.
Here is what I did so far:
I uploaded the required media files to a new project in PrE9 and let them index and conform.  I saved the project with the same name in a different location.  Do I have to do this to the project files and/or the original media files?  Confusion starts here.
The next step is where I am confused.  I do not know if I am proceeding in the right direction from here.  There is the share tab in the upper right hand corner.  Is this what you are talking about?  I am truly lost from here.
    Thanks.

  • Is there an exception to the rule "vlans cannot be created or modified" in client mode in vtp

Is there an exception to the rule "vlans cannot be created or modified" in client mode in vtp

    Vipul,
Not sure what your interviewer was expecting as an answer. But yes your understanding is perfectly correct that you cannot create/modify/delete the vlans from client mode as it would through you the error saying: " VTP vlan configuration ont allowed when the device is in CLIENT mode.".
The only difference I can think of:  As a _user_ in VTP client mode you have restrictions on_what you can do_ (create,delete,modify) to the vlan.dat file whereas in Server mode you(the user) have none of those restrictions. But from the _switches'_ own perspective it doesn't make the distinction between the two modes. In other words the switch is not aware of the mode the other switches are in.
A switch would not advertise to another switch like "hey I am a client/server"  but will advertise "hey this is my revision number" and the other switch will then compare to it's own. The one with the highest revision number will be the one who gets the privelege to 'sync' its vlan.dat to the other switch.

  • Moved iTunes library to an ext hard drive to make space on my int drive... Followed steps from apple.  Now I cannot access my music... It says: "File could not be used because the original file cannot be found.  Would you like to locate it?"

Moved iTunes library to an ext hard drive to make space on my int drive... Followed steps from apple.  Now I cannot access my music... It says: "File could not be used because the original file cannot be found.  Would you like to locate it?"
I moved my iTunes library to my external hard drive some time ago and I followed the directions listed here on the apple support page.  It did copy my library and now is on my hard drive... I can open iTunes and use it to sync all of my devices but I would like to play my music... I can see all of my music files but can not play them if I click on an album or song it says the following:  "(file name) could not be used because the original file cannot be found.  Would you like to locate it?"  I click locate but do not know where to go from there?  I need a way to access all files and not to hunt down one at a time on my hard drive... I am pretty sure I deleted the original library to make space on my internal drive which was the reason for moving it.  I have tried and tried to fix it and do not have a lot of time to do so with a one and two year old at my house who do not like it whenI sit down at my computer.  What to do???  Any help is much appreciated!!!

See Make a split library portable. Move all of the bits of the library together in the the correct shape and it should work. Or undo exactly what you did and then start over.
If you're a former Windows user don't try merging two folders together that have the same name by dropping one into the same folders as the other, as that goes badly on a Mac.
