i am using Jdevloper 10g,
when i try to run à jsp page the OC4J is launched but the browser not launched.
i have got this message:
The target IEXPLORE.EXE cannot be started because it is not a runnable target.
any suggestion ?

try Tools--> Preferences --> Browser and Proxy
and point JDeveloper to the browser executable

if comp.java doesn't have a main method the surely it compile but will run since you need to a main method in order to run the your java program.

I'd like to connect to an existing MS Access database for a college class I'm in, or create a new Database to build one from scratch.
I've set up the "New Database Connection" dialog with defaults to all entry fields, and tried with and without the Connection Name as "Database."
When I "test" it, I get this message :

Can you provide the complete error stack?
Did you try deleting the Default Domain & re-run? If not, can you try it?

I'm tying to run the Tree Binding example (ADF UIX Tree Binding Sample) -- (http://otn.oracle.com/sample_code/products/jdev/index.html).
I have defined an application workspace and DB connection for it, but get this error when I attempt to "run" the ViewJSP project.
"The target struts-config.xml cannot be started because it is not a runnable target."
Running JDev 9051 against DB9i. I am new to this version of JDev, but have familiarity with the previous releases (904x).
What do I need to do here? How to I configure JDev and to make "structs-config.xml" a "runnable" target?
Any help would be appreciated.

You need to run one of the components in struts-config.xml, like a JSP page or struts action.
Select the starting page or action in struts page flow, right mouse and choose run.

With that one, I'd first try uninstalling and reinstalling your MobileMe Control Panel for Windows. Does that clear up the error?

I moved my iTunes library FROM a Win 7 32bit HD to a new Win 7 32bit HD.
On the old HD iTunes uses 145GB of HD space.
On the new HD iTunes uses 145GB of HD space.
On both instances of iTunes I have selected "Convert higher bit rate songs to 128 kbps AAC"
My iTouch is a 3rd gen. 64GB unit.
In the past I would only take 75% of the available space. Now I am short 22GB.
What am I missing?

Appears to be fixed.
Moved all music recorded at 128bit or less to different location.
Moved video files to different location.
Synced sections of iTunes collection individually: Only Music, then Podcasts, etc.
Seems to be working fine. Apps also came over without changes.
???? Only thing missing is my PLAYLISTS.
???? Someone know where they reside on my old HD list and why they did not come over?

TS3212 I tried to reinstall itunes on my PC and got "Service 'Apple moble Device' failed to start. APSDAEMON.exe failed to start because MSVCR80.dll not found

I installed the latest iTunes update from Apple on my PC. I then received an error when launching iTunes that I the "APSDAEMON.exe was unable to locate component. ...Failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found".
During install, I got a message that itunes install was complete nut then I got a message that "itunes not installed correctly. Error 7 (windows error 126). Another error message received was "service 'apple mobile device' failed to start. verify you have sufficient privileges to start system.services.
At this point, iTunes icon is on my desktop but cannot launch iTunes.

To resolve this issue, delete the backup in iTunes Preferences and then create a new backup. If you would like to retain a copy of the backup, you can move the backup file to a different location. The backup is located in the locations below.

To delete the backup file:
    Open iTunes Preferences by choosing iTunes > Preferences (Mac) or Edit > Preferences (Windows).

"This disc cannot be used because it is not recognized" Error

For about the last month I have not been able to burn any cd's. I have just upgraded to Leopard and that still didn't fix anything. I can read cd's but when I put in a cd-r disc to burn, the error "This disc cannot be used because it is not recognized" comes up.
G5 2 ghz, Sony DVD RW DW- U10A drive.

I too have been having a similar problem. I can read CDs but not burn them. The drive that I have is a pioneer 112D with the latest firmware installed v 1.24, (did it today) This drive is a replacement for one that died about 6 months ago. I have OS 10.4.11, the newest patch burn installed, repaired permissions, repaired disk from a start-up disk, tried to burn from toast, and itunes,and disk burn. I looked in the LaunchDaemons folder but it was empty. I called Pioneer and while it is still under warrantee, I have to send it in and wait 4 weeks to get it back. Not good service in this day and age! Anyone have any ideas?

That DLL is part of your printer driver; reinstall or update the device driver for your printer, and the message should go away.

Tecra M9 - TPSMain.exe cannot start because CpePerf.dll not found

have searched the web and found other forum threads with similar issues.
Tried all the suggestions to no avail. I am not great on the computer but can find my way around. Anyway....
After login messge following messages pop up in succession, along the lines of : TPSMain.exe cannot start because CpePerf.dll not found then: TPSoddctl.exe cannot start because CpuPerf.dll not found
Computer works fine but Power Saver does not auto start and neither can i select it to from control panel.."toshiba power saver is not running",
so select it from Power options..."failed to start as CpuPerf.dll is not running"
Did all the searching on net and followed all advice... i.e. unistall power saver in safe mode, unistall toshiba common utilities neither can unistall fatal error 0x7e
So download Ccleaner, run checks, unistall with Ccleaner same fatal error.
Been on Toshiba support and tried to install Power Saver......same problem won't install .
So help help help if possible.
Computer is working fine but messages popping up are annoying and i would love power saver to prolong battery.
Tried system restore, though i doubt this affects the files...another problem "system restore could not complete"...tried this several times and cannot system restore either....what is going on???????

so you suggest there is nothing i can do other than restore from Toshiba recovery disc. Do you think somebody with a bit more knowledge could do sort it out with a less drastic approach..i.e is it worth taking it into a shop? Or do you think they will just have to go down the same route?
If i follow your plan is it just a simple case of downloading all my docs, photos, bookmarks to an external hd and then inserting the recovery disc and following intructions.?? I guess this disc then formats the HD and then reinstalls all the components the laptop came with??? is it infact a drastic approach, or quite simple as a procedure...what do i stand to looose?
Also how do i save xp as this is a version i installed when working/ using my laptop for my previous employer and i no longer have access to the discs/product key.
also could you confirm if this procedure would sort out system restore. I have tried restoring again to several restore points and the procedure will not complete, so this function is definitely not working anymore.
Sorry for more questions but as you can see this is not familair territory for me!!
