"The template has been moved or deleted" error. But the template works!

This is really an annoyance as it doesn't prevent me from using my template, just sick of this error message every time I create a new document in Pages.
Each time I create a New document, I get an error message: "*The template "company.template" couldn't be found.* The template has been moved or deleted."
However the template "company.template" still exists at /Users/<me>/Library/Application Support/iWork/Pages/Templates/My Template, and I can open the file from there.
I've already tried re-saving the file to the My Template folder and restarting Pages; I still get the same error message. How can I resolve this error?

It sounds like the Pages preference file may be corrupt. Quit Pages & go to HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences & delete the com.apple.iWork.Pages.plist then restart Pages.

Very likely not. A bvroken screen is not covered by the warranty. It also shows abuse aht voaid the warranty for the entire iPod. Howecver, sometimes the Genius will exchange it at no cost. Otherwise yu will have to pay $99, $149 or $%199 depending upon the capacity,

Microsoft Office 2008 Powerpoint "cannot open the file because it has been moved or deleted"

I am trying to open some slides my professor posted on Desire 2 Learn. It is a .pptx file. Everytime I try to open it I get an error message that says, "Powerpoint cannot access +I (drive) beacuse the file has been moved or deleted"
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office. And yes, I know just moving it to the recycling bin does not fully uninstall it. I followed the directions given in a different thread. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have tried everything I could to fix this, but some things require actually being on Firefox, and since I cannot get on, I cannot click on the tabs to do it. I have even totally uninstalled firefox, and that has not fixed this. I still get the same message that firefox is running and I need to close it or restart (which I have also tried dozens of times). I have removed things like Java, and that has not helped either. If I cannot even get on line in firefox, how can I fix this. I am not crazy about using internet explorer, but right now, it is my only option. I even tried to start in safe mode, and the same message box pops up!

Well you can try this, but I'm not sure it's going to work if this is an entirely new ID.
Go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Usually means another instance of the Application is running, likely in another user account. Either go to the other account(s) & close it, or restart the mac & try again.

When sending from one mac email account to another email account on the mac it seems to send fine, and it moves to the sent items, but nothing appears in the mac inbox.
When sending from a mac account to the pc, it seems to send fine, and it moves to the sent items, but nothing appear in the PC inbox.
When sending a massage from the PC to my mac email, it send fine from the PC and arrives in the inbox on the mac.

Well if your iPod is not appearing under Devices in iTunes when you have it plugged into a high powered USB 2.0 port, then that would explain why this newly loaded CD has not synced to it yet.

Not unless you placed a lost device in Lost Mode and it is detected as being online. If so, it will show its current and previous locations on a map as shown at the bottom of this article: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmfc0f0165.

Firefox won't open at all, and when I try to use the 'run' feature, it says the file has been moved, etc. I use Windows 8 and I can not lose my bookmarks. Help?

Firefox has been working great on my computer for months, and then all the sudden it wouldn't load any pages. So naturally I restarted my computer, but when it restarted Firefox wouldn't open at all. The icon glows for a bit like normal, then it fades and never actually opens. When I try to use the 'run' command, I get this error:
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\ refers to a location that is unavailable. It could be on a hard drive on this computer, or on a network. Check to make sure that the disk is properly inserted, or that you are connected to the Internet or your network, and then try again. If it still cannot be located, the information might have been moved to a different location."
I also tried the same for the file in the x86 folder but it gave the same error, and I went and looked for the files in the location given and they were there.
Firefox didn't crash, so there aren't any other error messages I can give you.
The things I had bookmarked are really important, I can not lose those, but other than that I'm fine with anything else needing to re-installed, etc.

Unless you're talking about the entire Mozilla Firefox folder (which isn't what the thing you copied says,) there is no installation folder.

Correct. An app can only be updated under the Apple ID that was used to orginally acquire the app. If that is a problem you can delete the app and download again under the new userid. If you paid for the app you will have to pay again. Your old Apple ID does not go away so there is no reason to not use it to download the apps.
You cannot delete the apps that came with IOS. If you want to "hide" the apps simply put the apps into an application folder by dragging one app onto another. You can do this to all the IOS apps.

How to solve 'The application has been moved and its path has changed...'

Recently, I started getting a dialog box every time I tried to open Photoshop CS5, whether directly or through 'Open With...' in the Finder. Here's what the dialog box looked like:
After consulting with Adobe Support, the problem was solved (easily!), so I'm posting the solution here for the benefit of others.
Solution
Hold down SHIFT + OPTION + COMMAND while opening Photoshop. You should see the following dialog box:
Click Yes to delete the current settings file.
Close Photoshop.
DONE!
Apparently, the preferences file can occasionally get messed up, generating the dialog box as a result. The above procedure deletes saved preferences and reverts to default. (You'll have to redo any custom preferences that you may have set, but at least you don't have to completely reinstall the software.)

Sometimes I know I haven't changed anything in the external file. In this case, the supposed conflict seems to be a bug and I overwrite with Lightroom metadata without exception (but with fingers crossed) - that bug has been reported.
Other times however, I have edited the file in an external editor, and its possible that the external editor wants to add some information that may be worth having, or it may be that its lost the original information - this is when its a dilemma:
If I overwrite disk file with Lightroom metadata, I may be losing what the external editor added.
If I overwrite Lightroom metadata with disk data, I may be losing what Lightroom had and the external editor dropped.
This scenario has not been reported as a bug, since I don't know if it is one. If I could see the difference between the two, then I'd know.

This problem is not a pop-up. First of all the problem did not start until Yahoo changed their set up for ads in Yahoo Games.
Once it did start, the ads do not "pop-up", it is a vertical bar that is there all the time. You cannot get rid of it.
By the same token, it is not a Yahoo Problem since the problem does not exist using another server.
Yahoo says it has to do with some add-ons or plug-ins in Firefox that is causing the problem.
As you can see by the screen picture, one third of the game screen has a vertical ad area. I want to get rid of it.
