The three blue lights on my S10 when viewed from the front

The manual identifies them as status indicators, but gives no further information. I've noticed that only two of the lights are on when on battery power.

These are what the three LED's at the front indicate The first is the power indicator which will be blue when the S10 is on either on AC or battery. The second is the battery indicator. It will be orange if the battery is charging and blue if the battery is fully charged. The third is the wireless indicator. It will be blue if WiFi is on, orange if Bluetooth is on and purple (blue + orange = purple) if both are on. This will flicker when there is any wireless activities.

What version of Reader are they using, exactly? And are you sure they're
using Reader itself and not opening the file inside a browser window, for

There is a security audit going on at my client's site and one of the requirements is to
revoke select on "*all_source*" view from the public .
1) Can Someone point out if there are any immediate ramifications of doing this (As in will the application
get affected in any way.. I don't assume so ) I scoured metalink but couldn't find any docs which cautions agaist it .
2) Now there are over 150 databases (8i,9i,10g) with several different development teams . How do i go about ensuring that the developers are not affected by this change . DO I need to create a seperate view based on this one for seperate teams .. ?
I am kinda new to this and any pointers are much appreciated

There are a number of "security hints" type papers on the intertubes, generally they say things like:
SQL> REVOKE SELECT ON ALL_SOURCE from PUBLIC;
SQL> CREATE ROLE VIEW_CODE_ROLE;
SQL> GRANT SELECT ON ALL_SOURCE to VIEW_CODE_ROLE;
SQL> GRANT EXECUTE ANY PROCEDURE to VIEW_CODE_ROLE;
The general idea is to protect against random bad guys figuring out various things from unwrapped code. Doesn't do anything to protect against inside jobs, but there's other things the auditors care about for that. Of course, this particular solution I got from one of those papers on the intertubes gives a major security hole to newbie developers with the execute any procedure, whatcha gonna do? At first I thought maybe the third microphone was just defected or something but I tested the mic individually and it works fine. It'll let me use two Blue Yeti's and another microphone but not three Yeti's at once.

Last night my iphone screen all of a sudden was solid blue and now it is black. I tried turning it on and off. Still nothing appeared on the screen. I put it on the charger and this morning it is totally black. However, when I hit the on and off button, I did hear the text message signal go off. When I turned the volume on and off a big white bell flashed. In the last week, there were some other display problems such as the screen blowing up large. The only way to fix it was to turn off the phone and then turn it back on.
What does all of this mean? It seems like I've had these problems since the iphone 4 upgrade.

That's a great feature request. I'd like the ability to turn off the blue boxes over hyperlinks as well.

These files were lost two years ago.
That's not consistent with what you wrote in your first message. I can't help you unless I know what's going on. Either you do, or do not, have backups of all the data you want to keep. If you do not, then the first thing you need to do is back up those files. It makes zero sense to do anything else. In order to back up, you'll need either of two things: another Mac, in working order, with a FireWire port and enough space on its internal drive to hold your files; or an external drive, also with enough space.
On the other hand, if you do have backups, or if you simply don't care about any of the data, then the solution to your problem may be quite simple. All you have to do is boot from your installation disc (your profile says you're running Mac OS 10.5), erase your internal drive, reinstall the Mac OS, then restore your data from backup. You will need to be selective in restoring software, because incompatible software may be what caused the issue.
But it's also possible that you have a hardware failure, in which case you can't get your computer working again until it's repaired.

I bought a movie three days ago. It begins to download from the cloud, then my iPad goes to sleep and when I open it again, it starts downloading from the BEGINNING. How do I get the WHOLE MOVIE to download? I have re-booted but that didn't help.

I can't seem to figure out how to download a movie. It begins to download (and yes, I've checked my download speed and my bandwidth and both should, in theory, be adequate to download a movie!) but then the iPad will go to sleep and when I get back to it, it shows that I have bought the movie but nothing is downloaded. And when I try to download the next time, nothing is saved and it starts again from the beginning of the download.
I sat down by my iPad while I was working and every few minutes I would swipe to turn it on and it got over half of the movie downloaded. But then I had to go to leave and now it shows nothing is downloaded.
I can see having it take a few hours to download IF one was able to just start the download and walk away and come back later to watch the movie. But to have to repeatedly begin from the start of the download is incredibly frustrating. I would want my money refunded to my iTunes account at this point, if I was able to do that. It's just not worth the hassle.
Suggestions? How does one download a movie from iTunes? It should not have to be this hard!!

Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If you can then delete from your iPod if you can and redownload.
If you can't delete from iPod, go to to iTunes>Store>Check for Available Downloads on your computer , amd dpwnload and sync

Something really odd is going on. In your first screen shot, I noticed that the Applications folder does not have the proper icon displayed in the side bar. Also, in the title bar it lists it as Applications 08-59-29-909.
Not sure where it's picking up that odd name, unless it's because it's still truly within the Trash folder.
Try this. In the Finder > Preferences > General > turn on "Always open folders in a new window". (I have a feeling you have the default setting with this off).
Now, in Finder > Go > move down and open the Applications Folder from there. Now open the folder where you see all your applications that you show in your screen shot, select all, and move them to this true appliactions folder.
This is what you should properly seeing (but with different apps listed):
See how the Applications folder has the icon of the letter A shaped with a pencil, ruler & pen.

Uninstall Keynote; this must be done with an application remover tool to delete the installation properly. Appcleaner is known to work correctly for this purpose, it is free and can be downloaded from here: Appcleaner Download

let the Mac complete the start up procedure completely, it will take longer than usual as the hard drive is being repaired
