The "to" field is not working properly

In addition to my last question about mailing lists, I also noticed that when I type in the first letter of my mailing list, previously what would pop up the email the alphabetically comes first. But now when type in the letter a for example and email address pops up from someone whose name starts with an M.

I could care less about strings in a person's actual email address if that is what you were saying below. I only care about strings in their actual names. What would anybody care about the characters in an email address such as (fake example) [email protected] when the guy is your friend Fred? I wish these geeks would stop fixing things that are clearly not broken. I just want to be able to type "F" and then see a list of email designations that start with "F" and if there is only one that starts with "Fr" in my mailing list, as soon as the "r" is typed, Fred pops up. Since Fred's whole email becomes visible at that point, this particular change that some moronic geek on Mozilla staff made to this excellent program was just plain stupid.

Back up EVERYTHING, then take it in to have them assess for any latent damage. Wouldn't want a similar "delayed reaction" from the hard disk drive, would we?

The flashing WLAN light means activity (data getting transferred). Try disconnecting all your devices and check whether the light is still flashing or disconnect the router from internet and do the check.
Do you have your SSID as linksys or the default one? If your neighbor has the same SSID, then traffic could result from your neighbor's one. Try changing your SSID and password. Make your security WPA/WPA2.

The Relate Field is not working, why ?

I'm editing the Customer Statement Report (Collection Report) from the System. I need the Customer Reference Number and it never works with the original system report. I don't understand why I don't have anything there because I did save data in those fields.
So tried to pick the A/R Invoice : Customer/Vendor Ref No field and paste it in the report. Then I extract the Invoice no from the reference field and I use it in the relate field. But it's not working, it only points on the first record. Why ? Do you know why ? If I could do a formatted search it would be done already. It's simple I want do do a simple SQL query....

Ok, I did like you said. And I got the reference number, but I'm missing many rows of transactions.
If I run the report from the "By Journal Posting" I got my 5 customers and all their transactions. But this way, I can't get the reference number. But with the "By Document Sales" I got only 2 customers with few transactions. I must see all the transactions and all the customers. All those customers had at leat 1 invoice and the incoming payment related to that. But I don't see those with "By Document Sales".
Instead I began to work on XL Reporter to do the same thing. But I can't find a way to insert a Page Break after each customer.
The best would be to do it from SAP, but without the reference number and all the transaction, the report of SAP can't be used...

In Logic account the operator function is not working properly

When am defiining the logic accounts using a operator as Function ,it is not working at all showing a red border in the cell and not able to update the grid .
InValue/Exp-> am using a function -> CurVal > 0 then Result=CurVal else Result ="skip" endif
Please suggest me if there is some workaround available for this ?

We are using the FDM version 11.1.1.3 and Target as HFM .
Now i am creating a logic account say Item - L1100 ,Type-IN, Criteria value-1100,Operator-Function(Not working),
Value/Exp->If CURVAL > 0 Then RESULT = CURVAL Else Result=”Skip” End If.
As soon as i select the operator(Function) ,it shows a red border on the operator cell and couldn't able to update the grid .
Have searched the OTN discussion forumns and find no answer for this !! Could you please sugesst me if any workaround available for this piece ?

Now that i have updated to ios 6 on my ipad 2 a lot of my apps included the app store is not working properly! What could this be???

A lot of my apps are not running. I tried downloading an app from the app store and it give me a message saying "Cannont connect to iTunes store" and a few of the games and apps i downloaded wont open and/or load... This didnt start until i updated to ios6 how can i reverse this or what can i do to fix this error!!!?????

We have read that any apps that use the google map app (removed by ios6) will not work. We have lost a great camping app for this reason, and have heard that some weather apps are not working either. I upgraded to version 9 from version 8. The following items do not work properly - menu, home page, navigation bar, wheel click. I backed up to version 8, and none of this stuff works right. How do I fix this?

When I open Firefox, the bookmark menu is a little tab in the upper left corner. If I go to view and un-click bookmark menu and then view, click it, the standard menu bar shows up. The Back and Forward buttons don't work. The navigation window does not show the URL of the current page. When opening, the home page does not come up. The wheel click works on the bookmark bar, but not within a page. The menu (file, edit, etc) does not work after the first page. Version 8 worked well. When I upgraded to version 9, all this trouble started. I backed up to version 8, but the problem persists.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

Hello, how much did you pay when some parts of the keyboard keys are not working properly due to accidental spilt of tea?

I accidentally spilt a tea on the keyboard of my Macbook Air 11'. I managed to wipe the keyboard and saved my laptop. However, I noticed that the Spacebar, Shift and Command keys are not working as it should be. It's like something's stuck inside that makes these keys hard to press as usual. I refered this problem to Amsys, Berwick St London, as the reservations in Apple Stores are full. Do you have any idea how much is the cost for diagnosis and repair if ever?
Please help.

it got inside, and will corode, and bad things will begin to happen.
Liquid spills, why your MacBook chassis is a one-way valve for spills
After a substantial spill many people will turn their notebook upside down and shake it, not only does this not work, but it spreads liquid havoc throughout your machine and makes things often as bad as possible.
The keyboard itself acts like a one way valve in the case of a substantial liquid spill. While liquid pours into the bottom chassis easy, it does not come out easily at all, and in the case of any spill, most of it will not come out by turning it upside down. Disconnect all power and contact Apple for diagnostics and repair.

After a spill most people invariably try to “dry out” their notebook by various methods, including hair dryers and otherwise. This both does not work, and after a substantial spill of any magnitude, even if the liquid was water, residue is left behind.

Immediately unplug your notebook and contact Apple for in shop diagnostics and parts replacement.
In the case of very minor spills people will “dry out” their notebook and feel success that their notebook is working ok, however invariably in nearly all instances after 4-14 days an error / fault pops up and is usually followed by more.
In case of a spill, damage estimates are impossible,.....anything can be fixed, without question.......the question is cost.

Does the Mac Operating System not work properly with Youtube?

I noticed that my Messages on youtube are instantly deleted when I comment on some peoples Youtube channels. I don't think its the person that owns the youtube channels doing it because it is deleted almost instantly after I log out. It's very odd and I don't think its youtube censoring my comment because I'm not cursing in the comment and I don't believe cursing is against the TOS on Youtube anyways.
Another thing I notice is that when I'm on a flash based chatroom that when someone I am talking to has left the chatroom it will still say they are in the chatroom until I click on my friendlist and than they turn red as if they are gone. It is very odd that I am noticing these strange bugs. However the chatroom thing could be a chatroom problem because it might do that on my Windows side which I never checked because I'm usually on that chatroom on my Mac side.

The Adobe flash version could be checked to see if the system is actually using
their latest version (see Adobe, not a third party prompt from elsewhere to get it)
as that may be dated or you may have a newer -and- older Flash, and if so,
the later one may not be in use. Within OS X you can choose the newer one.

Also, some of youtube can be run in HTML5 and depending on the author, should
be visible even without a Flash player installed. youtube is a google product and
they also have a help section for dealing with their content. And browser settings
may affect how things work. Depending on what browser you use, this varies.

Will Apple replace my iPhone 5 for free if the lock button is not working properly?

My iPhone 5 was bought in March 2013 and broke in January 2014 so I still have a few months left on my one year warranty.
My lock button did not get stuck or jammed, but all of a sudden it just would not work. I don't notice anything different about it and it still makes a "click" noise when I press it but, it wont do anything or respond to anything. Clearly something is wrong with it and I am not sure why.
I have my assessive touch ON but I would rather use my lock button.
If I bring it into Apple will they replace it for FREE if my one year warranty isn't over and my lock button just will not respond to me pressing it?

If Apple determines that it is eligible for coverage under the warranty then they will either replace it or fix it.
In my experience,, if it is truly just a faulty button, then they will fix it but the tech will make that determination after inspection.

This works fine when playing back locally on preview in
Flash. On the net, it actually shows the html markup, despite

Ever since updating my LG G2 to VS98026A the Quiet mode does not work properly and is not controllable.

My LG G2 started to have problems since the latest system update. Previously, the phone worked perfectly!
I now cannot control the Quiet mode settings and the vibrate and silent modes are no longer selectable. This is not acceptable. I have no way of silencing the phone if I need to.

No can't go back but if you reset you g2 make sure you use cloud storage ahead of time on WiFi to backup data or connect to a computer and know your Google account. If on more everything plan you can use the free 25gb of vcloud storage

The Back Arrow is not working properly in hotmail, using Firefox browser

I have to click the back arrow twice to get it to work. And then it doesn't take me to the previous page I was on. It takes me to my In box. It was very useful when I had my messages sorted to show only "Unread Messages". Hitting the back arrow allowed me to go back to that list without resorting. It works fine in Internet Explorer and has only stopped working in Firefox in the past week or so. Perhaps after the last upgrade.

Were you using -moz-box-shadow? Surprise! You now need to drop the -moz prefix and use just box-shadow as described in this page: [https://developer.mozilla.org/en/CSS/box-shadow box-shadow - MDN]. Actually, if you want the shadow in Firefox 3.5-3.6, you need both properties. Sigh.
