The top of my ACD 20" is messed up... :(
Hi people,
I don't know if this is a common issue, I checked a couple of pages and did'nt saw anything... It's that the top of my screen is like... bleeding-- there are like weird waves, a little like someone would have put their finger on it and and whipped horizontaly after eating french fries. It's getting worst, but if I put a black or white background, it is almost hidden. I've tried to plug it into another computer like "wishing" it was my graphic card or something stupid like that but it is realy the screen itself.
Any help is greatly appreciated !

Thats not what I wanted to hear I went back to school like 8 months ago so I don't have any money to fix it and it's not under warenty (18 months old... for a $900 screen it's plain pathetic; I'll check with the law if I can get them to pay the repairs)

How do i remove the top cover for the K410?
I spilled water on the top of my computer, and it messed up one of the USB ports on the top of it... now the computer constantly pops up connect/disconnect messages. I want to take the top bezel (or cover, or whatever it's called) off so that i can disconnect (or cut) the cable to that USB port, but i cant figure out how to remove it. Does anyone know how to take it off? It's the very top of the machine, which has the power button and 4 or 5 inputs.
Both USB cables go into one plug at the motherboard, otherwise i would just disconnect it there. I suppose i could cut one of them at the motherboard, but i want to make sure im cutting the right one.
Thanks for any help.Just guessing, if water is should dry in a day or two and not be a problem. Also, guessing, probably have to pull the side cover to get access to release the top.

The top bar on firefox is messing up
When i first open firefox, it is fine. In about 30 minutes it messes up. Notice the top bar in the screen shot on firefox(where the minimize button & close button is located, on the left) It is a greyish blue. It is supposed to be Clear, like the top bar on the application to the right! Help??

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit") -
My Ipod is messed up. Every time i click the top button it just flashes the apple sign for like 5 seconds and then goes off and just continues to do that.Can someone please help?

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

The top row of keys got messed up?
tried to turn up my volume with the volume up button and it did the expose thing. After pressing more keys i come to find out that the whole top row of my keyboard is messed up. none of the buttons work how they should. how do i fix this?
System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard tab > uncheck "Use all Fkeys as standard function keys."

I was messing with my clear history button and it wasnt working right and some how pushed a button something about a full page and now all my firefox stuff is all gone and I have to put my pointer close to the top to just get to my home button and favorites but leave it to me of course to come up with a problem that hasnt been asked even though i not a newbie i sure feel that way sometimes like NOW!!!!!

My file, edit, view, history, bookmarks, tools, and help buttons at the top of the screen are gone, along with my forward and back button.

Why is the time messed up on the calendar but right at the top of the phone?
Daylight savings was last night and the time at the top of the phone is right but when I go look at the calendar the time is an hour off? Why is that?

Displaying the result of the TOP N query
Hi all,
we are facing a challenging task were we are going to build a query that gives the answer on the question:
How many different materials (of the top sold) represent 80% of the total sales in quantity?
The result should of the query should be very short:
2002 2003 2004
Nr of materials
reps 80% 432 453 499
The query is build on a CO-PA based cube, where each line corresponds to a billing item with material and quantity.
By using a Top 80% condition on the quantity sold keyfigure we get out the top 80% materials sold:

We would like to supress the materials and only show the result row (or the raked position of the last material).
The problem is that the 'Calculate Single Value As' properties of a formula (or keyfigure) only applies on Displayed Data values. All tests we have done so far with 'supression of zeros' & 'always hide' has messed up or counting / ranking functions.
Is there any function in within formulas that have same functionality like Count,Rank etc?
Is there any other way to supress materials and only show results?

Should be achievable using exception aggregation and pre-query.
Create a query that gives the list of material that account for 80% of the sales using condition on the sales column.
In the second query, using exception aggregation, count the number of materials that make up this set for the year. Create a new calculated key figure with the formula as qual to sales key figure. In the properties window, press the enhance button and select count of all values in the first drop down and material in the second drop down. Filter the query on material with a characteristic variable with processing as replacement path. In the variable point it to the first query. Drilldown for this will be year.
This will give you number of materials for one year. If you want comparitive for three years, then three pre-queries and three variables with the calculated key figure restricted to a variable pointing to one years query.
You can use pre-calculated value sets to improve the run for the result query.

How can I get Firefox to fill my screen? There are gaps in the top and bottom of my screen, thanks.
I dropped my laptop recently and messed up the hard drive so after installing new hard drive I reloaded win 7 and Mozilla Firefox. When Firefox loads up there is a 1" plus gap on the top and a half inch gap at the bottom of all pages. How can I get the browser to fill the screen? Thanks.
This website is using autocomplete=off to prevent Firefox from saving and filling the name and password.
You can remove autocomplete=off with a bookmarklet to make Firefox save names and passwords and other form data.

How do I get my menu bar at the top of the page with no gaps?
How do I get my menu bar at the top of the page with no gaps? Whenever I move it there is a huge gap at the top of the page which I cant seem to get rid of, i posted about this before but none of the suggestions seemed to work for me. i'm not very good with css so im not really sure where to find the problem. There are generally gaps everywhere which looks at absolute mess, no clue how they got there and why, there is a huge gap underneath my menu bar too which wasnt there before. how do i get rid of this too? its probably some padding a or margin but no clue where.

I have a manual tablular form. I'm trying to add a row at the top of the form, instead of new row of being displayed at the bottom. any ideas are appreciated.

SuryaThis will depend on two things:
1. sorting of the columns - needs to be a some kind of a descending sorting on a hidden column, enabled within the Report Attributes and not in the SQL Query
2. Report Attributes => Layout and Pagination => Sort Nulls First
You will need to play with those settings a bit. One thing to consider is that you should sort your report on a hidden column and you shuldn't enable the sorting on visible columns, because it will mess up your row positioning.

[SOLVED]Creating a gap at the top of the screen in DWM / Dzen2
I've messed around with this for a couple days to no avail. I'd like to create a small gap at the top of the screen in dwm 6.0 (replacing dwm's topbar) so I can insert a dzen status bar. I'm pretty new to editing dwm.c, but from my google-fu have found that the answer lies somewhere in the setup() and updategeom() functions. Any other relevant information is only applicable to earlier versions of dwm.
So, can anyone help me out, or atleast point me in the right direction? I understand this might be possible through xmonad, but would like to avoid that if there's a chance.

That actually worked to some effect, I was so OCD about it being clean I didn't want to paint over the original bar, but just deleting the function that draws it doesn't seem to have removed the gap where it used to be. This solution also allows me the ability to hide it as well.

I'm using a Mac Air with Thunderbird 34.0.
When I forward an email, for some reason it now includes all of the headers at the top of the new forwarded message that I'm creating ... making quite a mess.
It looks like this below. How do I make it go away?

PSA Deletion variant in Process chain
When I add more than one PSA tables in one process step of Process chain would the deletion happen sequentially or parallelly? In other words, if I have some 20 PSA tables to be deleted, can I put all of them in one step or should I put them in diffe
