The touch screen buttons for arent working
on my iphone the buttong for wifi isnt working i turned my phone on and off a lot and it still isnt working and its the only button that isnt working. I keep trying to push it over on the screen but i have no idea why it isnt working and i can turn all my other buttons on and off just not the wifi.

My phone suddenly stopped working...one day i couldnt use my phone to make calls because the speaker and mic stopped working then i noticed the touchscreen speaker button that apears first when you make a call was gone. Only way I can use my phone is with the hands free kit. I brought it in to AT&T and a wireless reapir shop to replace the speaker and mic and that didnt help any. HELP!

First Screen Capture: Computer does not recognize that a TouchScreen is an active device. [This indicates a driver is damaged and/or missing]
Second Screen Capture: There are no Tablet PC Settings available. [This confirms that the driver is missing]
HP needs to upload TouchScreen Drivers to its' support downloads immediately. -
Sometimes the screen on my iPhone 3GS randomly enlarges so I cannot see or manipulate the touch screen controls. Anyone know what causes this?
Double tap with THREE fingers to turn zoom off. Then, go into Settings>General>Accessibility and turn it off for good.

This morning I tried to turn on the guided access, which I quickly regretted. The home screen button on my iPhone 5 barely worked to begin with, so when it said "Guided access enabled, tap home screen button 3 times to exit," I knew I had problems. I turned guided access off, but my iPhone now will not exit the settings app, it will not turn off, it will not shut down, and it stays only on one screen. I am about ready to go to the Apple Store and find out what is wrong.

Iphone 5 touch screen buttons do not work
Pretty annoyed and disappointed with my new iPhone 5. First, virtually everytime I try to slide a button in settings to change an option, it won't slide. Touch/slide it light, heavy, make sure my fingers are warm, doesn't matter. Generally can't slide it over until the 5-6th try (or more). More annoying yet, I've apparently burned through 90% of my 1GB of data and I'm only half way through my billing cycle. I've had an iPhone since 6/09 and have only come close/gone over maybe 2x. Read up on the WiFi problem and supposed fix but ended up downloading a free data management app today. What gives??? Don't even get me started on that useless mapping software. Ended up downloading a MapQuest app and have relegated the Apple mapping software to my very last screen. Wish I would have sucked it up, converted my iTunes music and switched to a Droid. Apple is usually such an innovator, but they really dropped the ball on the iPhone 5.
You are not addressing Apple here, we are users just like you. This forum is for users to ask technical support questions of other users. Do you have a question, because I cannot seem to find one in what you have to say.

Apps and ibooks you should be able to re-download for free, assuming that they are still available in the store and you use the same iTunes account that you originally used to buy/download them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 . Music bought from iTunes can only currently be re-downloaded if you are in the US, and I assume that you are in Carlisle here in England in which case you won't be able to re-download music.
Have you still got the purchases on your computer, or on a backup that you can copy back onto the computer and then load into iTunes ? -
im assuming im going to just need to go to the apple store and get it fixed?
Was the iPhone factory unlocked?
If so then do a search of these forums for the fixes for Sim card errors; there are a few people with ideas on how to fix it.
If it was unlocked after you bought it, then you will not be able to update the software.
And it will have been Jail broken, which cannot be discussed on this forum. -

So my phone got wet the other day. I dried it out completely, but the touch screen still isn't working. Is there anything I can do short of getting a new phone? Anything that can be done at the nearest Verizon store? I am one of three phones on our plan and I am trying not to need to get a new phone before our contract expires next month.

We're sorry to hear that your phone isn't working. It's very important to have a functioning touchscreen! Let's explore your options OK? If the phone is taken to a store, troubleshooting can indeed be done. The store representative can even contact us while you're there. Do you have insurance on the device? Or, do you maybe have a prior vzw device that can be activated until the upgrade is available? You can also check your My Verizon account to see if your line( or another line on the account) is eligible for an upgrade. VZW always has options for you.

Like the bottom row of apps has stopped working and certain buttons on the keypad are not working at all what so ever I have taken it to the apple store once before they told me to update it I did so and it didn't get better I have also restored it multiple times still nothing I really would like a working I pod please help!!!
If you restored to factory settings/new iPod and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

If the touch screen physically doesn't work, it's too late to back it up. You should have been syncing your contacts with something... a cloud service or contact manager on a PC. If you were not, then I'm afraid you're going to lose them.

NOKIA Lumia 710: Touch screen focus no longer work...
Hello.
I've only had my Lumia 710 for two weeks. Up until 4 days ago, the touch screen focus attribute was working perfectly. I was taking pictures and it simply stopped working.
I've since tried resetting the camera options back to defaults with no luck. I recently updated the phones software pn 10.18.2012 with no change either. I also took out the battery and sim card out of frustration and obviously had no luck.
Aside from having to do a hard reset, does anyone have any suggestions regarding how to possibly fix this?
Maybe I'm missing an obvious and simple setting? Maybe not. Lol

Normally Nokia Lumia 710 should focus on the part you tap with your finger (and show a reticle while doing so) and snap a picture. There is no setting to switch this off, so it should be working by default. We would advise you to reset your phone at Settings > About > Reset your phone. Just remember to backup your media files before doing so, because it will wipe your phone clean. If the issue persists, visit your local Nokia Care point and let them have a look.
