The Unanswered Question (and I don't mean like in Charles Ives)
I've read all about using JavaScript to call public methods of applets running in the BROWSER'S JVM.
But that is not, and never has been, the issue.
Is there a way to do it with applets running in the Java Plug-In?
Oh, yes, and the Duke Dollars are still there on my previous thread (the one where I got sarcastic about the responses) and still up for grabs. And if you want more, there are two other threads I started, with ten Duke Dollars on each, that never got a useful response, and so they're up for grabs, too.

How can I but songs on my iTunes account if it is asking me the security questions and I don't remember the answers and I don't have a rescue email?
And I cannot call.

How can I buy a song but always asked the security questions and you don't remember them what should I do
Write down your security questions.......
Here is what you should do if you do not remember the answers to your Apple ID security questions:
Try answering them at least once to see if you can get them right, even if you are not sure you remember the answers to your security questions.
If you are confident you can't remember them, try one of the following:
If you have three security questions and a rescue email addresssign in to My Apple ID and select the Password and Security tab to send an email to your rescue email address to reset your security questions and answers.
If you have one security question and you know your Apple ID passwordsign in to My Apple ID and select the Password and Security tab to reset your security question.
If you have one security question, but don't remember your Apple ID passwordcontact Apple Support for assistance. Learn more about creating a temporary support PIN to help Apple confirm your identity when you contact Apple Support.
Note: If you have forgotten your password and answer your security questions incorrectly too many times in a row, you will be unable to try to answer your security questions for a period of time. During that time you will not be able to reset your password and will not have access to your account.
Cheers,

Where is the DELETE key -- and I don't mean "backspace"
Every PC of any stripe that I have ever owned -- and we're talking a lot of machines in nearly 30 years of this -- has had two 'delete' keys.
One is a backspace key -- it erases characters in before the cursor. It's usually found above the enter/return key, where the backspace key used to be on those old-fangled typewriter machines.
The other key was a "delete" key -- which would erase characters that apper AFTER the cursor. There the backspace key would erase backwards, the delete key would erase forwards.
So, where is the DELETE key on a Mac keyboard? Is there some combination of keys that will serve that purpose? Or does somebody really think I'm going to move the cursor to the end of some place and delete backwards ALL the time?
I read in yesterday's Wall Street Journal that Steve Jobs doesn't like buttons, but this is ridiculous. It could, in fact be a fatal error... I've still got 10 days to take this thing back...
--PSI don't suppose there is any kind of utility program that would let me re-map they keyboard, so that I could make, say, the "enter" key at the bottom into a "forward-delete" key (I never use that enter key, my hands are trained to use the "enter/return" key where it's always been on a typewriter -- yeah, I'm that old...)
Either buried on the Mac somewhere or a third party program that would let me do that? Would sure make the MacBook more liveable... I delete a LOT!
Thanks,

I can't make purchases with my Apple ID becuase I don't know the security questions and the reset password is old and doesn't exist anymore. What should I do?

I got a new iPhone and i am trying to buy songs but when I go to buy a song on iTunes it says I have to answer my security questions and I don't remember the answers. I pressed where it says for them to email you your answers but I haven't gotten an email. Is there another way to change or get the answers for the security questions?
If the email hasn't arrived after a few hours and isn't in a spam filter, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, or clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed in either article, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

I forgot the answers for the security questions and when I try to change them (My Apple ID -> Manage your account -> Password and Security) I'm asked to answer the exact questions I'm trying to change because I don't remember the answers. How can I do it?
Can't you try the email option instead?

When I sign in to my Apple ID in "My Apple ID" and go to "Passwod and Security" I should answer the security questions but I don't remeber them and the bar that says "send to rescue email" doesn't show !! How could I recover the questions??
You will have to contact iTunes Support and tell them you have forgotten your Security Questions and need them reset. They will respond to you by email, usually within 24 hours. Here are two links to contact iTunes Support:
http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww/
or by email:

I forgot the answers to my security questions and I don't have a recovery e-mail
I forgot the answers to my security questions and I don't have a recovery e-mail. What I find weird is that it has never asked me the security questions until a day ago when i tried to buy music. I contacted apple by e-mail, but they haven't responded, so is there anything I can do or is it best to wait longer for them to reply?
