In additional, I also would like to see a "iOS liked" way to edit my "United contact" on the web page iCloud, just like on my iphone. That would be really great and more greater!

It's difficult to tell exactly what you mean, or where you are looking.
But if you're looking in the App Store on the iPad, in the Updates area, and you still see the icons, they presumably now say "Open" to the right instead of "Update". They will stay that way as a history of what you have done. They will disappear after a while - something like 30 days. That is fine.

Why don't Firefox load the updated JCPenney web page?

I've just spent nearly an hour on the phone with JCPenney, and then we got cut off. The gal is telling me where things are at on their new web site, and I'm telling her that no such thing appears on my page.
After we got cut off I opened Google Chrome just for the heck of it and used my LastPass to login to JCPenney. LO & BEHOLD!!!! All those things the gal was trying to tell me are on the page -- are actually on the page.
Now why will Google Chrome load JCPenney's new web site while Firefox continues to load the old site?

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
1. Clear Firefox's Cache
orange Firefox button ''or'' Tools menu > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
2. If needed, delete the site's cookies here -- note: if you are in the middle of a purchase, this might clear your cart
While viewing a page on the site, right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

I want it install Internet explore so I can view the web pages I am creating, but why can I not install it from Firefox?

Did you download and save the IE installer to a folder on your computer (desktop)?
It is possible that security (anti-virus) software is interfering.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

I tried the free trial version of adobe after effects. When i click the setup button in the adobe cs4 folder, it says you can not finish the installation when adobe media player is running, but i don't have it open i keep trying and the same thing happens

Actually I simply would uninstall anything related to Adobe AIR, including AMP or the Acrobat.com widget. If you just uninstall AMP, one of ther others is going to bite you in your behind. It's a flwa in the installer that does not correctly detect and handle outdated versions of Adobe AIR.

I've recently installed the Soa Suite 11.1.1.4, and when i logged in th BPM Composer and I try to use any option of the web page, i can see in the log the next error :

java.lang.AssertionError: CurrencyKey not preserved
at org.apache.myfaces.trinidad.component.UIXCollection.encodeEnd(UIXCollection.java:531)
With this error i can't navigate inside the BPM Composer Web page, any idea about this problem?

The solution to this issue, is adding in the CMDLINE of the Register Service the next value -da:org.apache.myfaces.trinidad.component.UIXCollection, with this option we disable the assertion of java, after that i can work with the BPM Composer Web Application

What OS do you have? You say you have explained what you had (computer/opsys) but I honestly don't see it here. If you had mentioned that my advice would have been different; I believe you can only upgrade as far as Camera Raw 8.3 on an older Windows system. There is more information here (look specifically for the "Revert to 8.3 ..." titles).

What you've done/written in your last post confuses things further, unfortunately. Photoshop 13.1 is strictly a Creative Cloud version. The highest you can go is Photoshop CS6 13.0.1.3 with perpetual license.
And as far as I can recall, that version can work on Windows back to XP:

I don't think you're out of luck, but you seem to be leaping into doing things without having the full story, and are jumping to conclusions a bit too quickly.
Here's what I suggest you try:
1. Remove Photoshop entirely with the Creative Suite Removal Tool:
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
2. Install Photoshop CS6 from your original media or from here:
Download CS6 products
3. Update the application using its own Help - Updates process. That really should get you the latest Camera Raw version that will work. If that does not bring you a Camera Raw that works with your Nikon, use the "Revert to 8.3" instructions above.

Than I could not use it, because my cursor uncontrollably was jumping around the screen, I was resumed my trackpad become bulging, Than on11/25/ 2013 they changed my trackpad for free, because was manufactoring defect, but not the bulging battery. They said that is do not needed. Since that my cursor is quiet often quivering, I think my Macbook has serious manufacturing defect. But they said no, during a year period I went to the genius bar at least 15 times, with this and similar problems. I went there yesterday, with different problems, and they said one of the screws came off from my truck pad, therefore they need to fix it and change it. I said: - What, how, what is the real problem? A screw does not comes off just like that? They will change my trackpad again, but not the battery. They said has to rebuild the operation system, I'm saving all of my data right now! I would like to exchange the battery too, or maybe get a new Macbook. My Macbook is 2010 China model. How long I would have this trackpad problem? What are you suggesting?

If it's a 2010 as you say towards the end of your post, it's out of warranty. The battery isn't covered in that case. Why don't you just buy a new battery if that's your concern? If it's a 2013 as you say up at the top, it shouldn't have a bulging battery. How do you know it does? If it really does, ask for the store manager and explain the problem.

After upgrading to 8.0 the add-on compatability tool runs and the Getting Started web page loads every time the browser starts.

After upgrading to 8.0 from 7.0.1 every time I start FF I get the add-on compatibility tool to run and the Getting Started web page loads along with my homepage in separate tabs as well. So far I have tried running the installer again, disabling all add-0ns and custom settings and restarting and turning off automatic updates. Nothing worked there. I got the same behavior each time. I don't know what else to try other than a full uninstall and reinstall. Something I'd like to avoid if it's possible because of the time involved. Hi michaell, thanks for the reply. I tried everything in the Preferences are not saved link you provided and nothing worked there. If creating a new profile will delete all my add-ons and custom settings I might as well just do a complete uninstall and reinstall. That actually would be easier. That article told me how to save my bookmarks though so I don't have to loose those which is nice. I don't know if this makes any difference but there is a discrepancy between the preference file in the article which is: prefs.js and what's showing on my PC which is: prefs with no .js suffix. I tried to rename the file to prefs.js and restarted. No luck there either. It just created another prefs file. I guess we've pretty much exhausted all the avenues to try! How do we add a link to process map on the desk manual web page?

Hi: The Tutor demo I used shows a hyperliink to process flows and one can drill down to see the connections between the processes at a high level so the auditor to navigate the different processes and sub-processes. Is there somewhere in the documentation that can show me how to include this? I created a process map document, using the steps in the documentation, saved it with the prefix RE and published it, created a new index, but sadly I can't seem to get a link to this on the main web page. Also when I click the hyperlinks on the Process flow doc, I get a web page error although I used a valid PR doc name. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The text on web pages fades as you scroll the page, it reapears if you click refresh or move the mouse arrow over it. I reset FF still doing it.

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
Then perform these steps:
*Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
*In the Firefox options window click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select "General".
*In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
*Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:

Anyway Thomas, I call it as I see it and like any IT professional, use the best tool for the job.

So really what the problem is people's sensibilities, which they shouldn't be worried about because like IE, because of Safari being included on hardware, automatically is the first browser of choice and in no danger of losing market share on Apple hardware.
However if Safari isn't quite cutting the mustard for a particular person's needs, like this person's situation, they should be informed of a alternate solution.
Safari doesn't have nearly the amount of customization as Firefox nor the zillions of add-ons to solve just about any issue.
If people decide not to take my advice that's their choice, and they choose not too, but likely, just in this case, will come to realize the same problem I had with increasing Safari's text size and distortion of web pages.
Soon as Apple starts paying attention to their needs of their hard of seeing customers better, like myself and others, then I will most certainly recommend Safari over Firefox.

Firefox has always opened new tabs in a blank page, so I'm guessing that the way you had it before was added by an extension.
If you to to Tools > Add-ons > Extensions, are there any extensions disabled?
In any case, you can still do this with a mouse shortcut. Hold down the Ctrl key as you drag a tab to an empty area on the tab bar.

There is no need to get the path. It is also fairly pointless as the server cannot access the client's local file system.
