The updated info on my Apple Account don't show when I'm trying to purchase an item in the Apple Store
I changed my address and country, since i've moved, in my Apple Id which has been saved and i can see that when i log into my apple account online. But when I go to buy an app in the app store it is still showing the my old info. So i am unable to put in my new billing address and purchase an item. Please help?
Have you changed the payment method and billing address in your account information from the iTunes app on your Mac?

If the downloads are stalled or "waiting" - try these suggestions.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again.
If all else fails, download the updates or the apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync the content to your iPad. -

Not sure which password you mean. This is for the admin password for the computer. Then is instruction for your Apple ID and password.

Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
When the menubar appears select Terminal from the Utilities menu.
Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > store, scroll down and tap your ID) -

Then it simply was NOT Brand New. Doesn't matter what the box looked like when you got it or if you went through the setup pages when you first turned it on. If it is registered to some other Apple ID then someone else had originally registered it and locked it to there ID.
Type in the serial number of the system into this page.

I cannot access the iTunes store on my desktop. (brand new) I can access iTunes store on my laptop, so account is fine. When I go to sign in iTunes just says "Accessing iTunes Store" indefinitely. Have totally uninstalled and re-installed twice.
Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

If you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders, and you can't find it via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first home screen to the right), then is it hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > Camera being set 'off' ?
If not then have you tried a reset to see if you can find it after the iPad has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
How to Update an App via Apple Store
I have Fireplace version 1.1 installed and it works fine on the iMac under OS X 10.6.6. Just noticed a new Fireplace version 1.2 at the Apple Store. The problem is when I click on the version 1.2 icon it say the application is Installed and there is no option to update. There is no link to a .dmg that can be downloaded and the developer's web page just sends you back to the Apple Store.
How do you update an application form the Apple Store?
Footnote: I really do not like the new Apple Store user interface.A hassle but until they get the kinks out…
i agree but it worked. Apple did us no favors with the Apple Store user interface. It should
give you options. I really do not like the Apple Store doing the install with no user options

Why can't HK account purchase any item outside of iTunes store HK?!
I had changed my billing address and country to Hong Kong earlier today.
But afterward, the App store stopped me from installing any more app with some reason like "your account is only valid for HK itunes store". In fact, the apps I chose were 'free' and designed for HK user. It's really stupid. I had to change the info all back into Canada.
Why can't we, HK account users, purchase item outside of HK store as long as we have a valid credit card?!Thank the music industry for this one. A music company may decide to release certain music in some countries only. Before downloads, you had to travel to the country to buy the music. Now, they just block you via the credit card billing address. Pathetic.
