The user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer

Hi,
I'm running Win Server 2012 R2
I'm trying to do the following, but the Add User or Group is grayed out!  :-(
Why? What did I miss?
Thanks for your help
To assign the user right Allow log on locally
On the Telnet server, open the Group Policy Management Editor. To do so, click Start, then in the Start Search box,
type gpedit.msc, and then press ENTER.
If the User Account Control dialog box appears, confirm that the action it displays is what you want, and then click Continue.
In the navigation pane, open Computer Configuration, Windows Settings, Security Settings, Local
Policies, and User Rights Assignment.
In the details pane, double-click Allow log on locally.
Click Add User or Group.
Find the user or group account you want to add, and then click OK.
Click OK to save your changes to the Group Policy object (GPO).
Users that are currently logged on must log off and back on to be affected by the changed GPO setting.

Sorry, I just forgot to add these new users to the Server
Operators in Active Directory.
Now they can connect.
Thanks for your help

  • Logon failure; the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer (IE App)

    Hello,
    Question of a newbie:
    In Windows Server 2012 I'm using IE10 to simulate numerous different users. But for some of these "fake" users I got the error:
    Logon failure; the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer.
    So I opened PowerShell : GPEDIT.MSC
    Computer Configuration / Windows Settings / Security Settings / Local Policies / User Rights Assignment.
    In the detail zone : Double-Clic sur Allow log on locally.
    Dialog box : Allow log on locally properties
    But the Add User or Group
    button is grayed out!
    What can I do?
    Thanks for your help!

    Several months after...
    I found the solution : the user has to be member of the Server
    Operators in Active Directory.
    That's all :)
    Thanks

    We just rebuilt our machine with server 2012, and it was working flawlessly and then randomly it started giving me this error if i would try to start up a machine. At first this was just an annoyance but now it is worrying me greatly. I have tried
    everything from logging on as the domain admin account to the actual server administrator account. Nothing seems to start these machines up, and I need them to start.
    'Computer1' failed to start worker process: Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer. (0x80070569).

  • The current user username has not been granted the ADVISOR privilege despite having it !

    Hi,
    I'm trying to follow ML note 2499931.1 'Using Dbms_Advisor.Tune_Mview To Optimize Materialized Views For Fast Refresh' and am receiving an error suggesting the user4 does Not have the Advisor privilege

    Every note I've found so far suggests granting the privilege is the fix.
    I have and continue to receive the error.

    Sorry, but the code I was receiving the error message for is essentially   the same as the example in the note. Assumed people would have access to the note.
    The statement is:
    variable foo varchar2(20);
    declare foo varchar2(20) := 'ken_foo';
    begin
    dbms_advisor.tune_mview(:foo,
    'create materialized view ken_foo
    as
    select
    papf.rowid R_papf,
    paaf.rowid R_paaf,
    gcc.rowid R_gcc,
    papf.employee_number,
    gcc.segment4 cost_center

         hr.per_all_assignments_f@atc_pp_to_ebs_atcllc paaf,
         gl.gl_code_combinations@atc_pp_to_ebs_atcllc gcc
    where papf.person_id = paaf.person_id
    --and trunc(sysdate) between papf.effective_start_date and papf.effective_end_date
    --and trunc(sysdate) between paaf.effective_start_date and paaf.effective_end_date
    and paaf.default_code_comb_id = gcc.code_combination_id');
    end;
    Per another forum the answer appears to be that sys didn’t have the advisor privilege.
    Granted advisor to sys and ran the statement again as soauser and no error.
    Thanks

  • (java.util.PropertyPermission * read,write) has not been granted

    I've been getting the following error:
    java.security.AccessControlException:
    the Permission (java.util.PropertyPermission * read,write)
    has not been granted by dbms_java.grant_permission to
    SchemaProtectionDomain(ROVER|PolicyTableProxy(ROVER))
    So to fix it I did the flowing as system:
    SQL> EXEC DBMS_JAVA.GRANT_PERMISSION('ROVER','SYS:java.util.PropertyPermission', '*', 'read,write');
    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
    SQL> COMMIT;
    Commit complete.
    But their is no change.
    What am I missing?
    I'm using 8.1.6 on linux.

    I'm also in this situation:
    I got this error:
    [1]: (Error): ORA-29532: Java call terminated by uncaught Java exception:

    I believe I must use the dbms_java.grant_permission procedure to grant the
    procedure to resolve hostname. But I don't know how to use this procedure.
    I tried with
    'dbms_java.grant_permission(SchemaOfMyJavaClass,'java.net.SocketPermission',
    'mailhost','resolve',intRet);'
    and a record is been appended to dba_java_policy, but Oracle complaines again.
    Someone can help us?

  • I am trying to set up and sync with icloud but it says my email has not been verified. How do i do this? When i click the email verification nothing comes to my email allowing me to verify.

    how can i get confirmed to sync with icloud?

    You might try contacting iTunes store support.  Even though this is an ID that you want to use for iCloud, it's still an Apple ID.  iTuens store support deals with Apple ID issues all the time and they may be able to help you.  Just explain that you are trying to verify your primary email address for your Apple ID but are not receiving the verification email from Apple, despite multiple attempts to resend it.  You can reach them here: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html.
    You might also check with your email provider to be sure they aren't blocking email from [email protected] as spam at their end.

  • Error File.createTempFile permission to delete has not been granted

    Hi,
    I am new in Java. I wrote something easy like this:
    public class Utils {
    public static String createMyTempFile() {
    String result = "";
    try {
    File file = File.createTempFile("test",".txt");
    file.deleteOnExit();
    catch(Exception e){
    result = e.getMessage();
    return result;
    But appear the next error message:
    "Unable to create temporary file"
    But i run the same script with SYS user theres no problem, asume is a permission problem, but i dont know which permissions or how can i grant it.
    Thank you

    Grant Privileges
    The relevant permissions must be granted from SYS for JServer to access the file system:
    EXEC DBMS_JAVA.grant_permission('SCHEMA-NAME', 'java.io.FilePermission', '<<ALL FILES>>', 'read ,write, execute, delete');
    EXEC DBMS_JAVA.grant_permission('SCHEMA-NAME', 'SYS:java.lang.RuntimePermission', 'writeFileDescriptor', '');
    EXEC DBMS_JAVA.grant_permission('SCHEMA-NAME', 'SYS:java.lang.RuntimePermission', 'readFileDescriptor', '');
    GRANT JAVAUSERPRIV TO SCHEMA-NAME;
    The affects of the grant will not be noticed until the grantee reconnects. It is up to the individual to decide on the level of access that is required.
    Depending on the documentation used, you may be told to add the directories you intend to access to your UTL_FILE_DIR parameter in the Init.ora file. I have not found this to be necessary when using the Java approach.

  • Report: How long the user has not logged into SSHR

    Hi experts,
    I am looking for a report, which showing me, how long the user has not been logged into SSHR?. Because some poeple dosn't work any more in the company, and the list should enable use to deactivate their accounts.
    Thanks in advance

    The AOL signon capabilities are good and you'll find useful stuff in those links.
    If you're after something quick in SQL try this:
    SELECT last_logon_date, user_name
    FROM fnd_user
    WHERE trunc(last_logon_date) < trunc(sysdate) - 90;
    That will get you everyone who hasn't logged in for 90 days.

  • A WebGroup/Virtual Host to handle /CourseLaunch.aspx has not been defined

    Hi Team,
    I am facing a strange issue. Through my java application I am trying to invoke a webservices of another third party application, which basically launches a course from there.
    I have integrated the webservices code (WSDL, proxy classes & servlet) in my EAR file.
    Whenever I try to launch a course from my application for the first time, A new window opens with a HTTP 404 error. In the log file it says:
    A WebGroup/Virtual Host to handle /elex/planner/CourseLaunch.aspx has not been defined.
    But if I close this error page & try to relaunch the same course from my application, the course loads perfectly. Do you know what might be causing this issue.
    I am invoking a 3rd party URL from my servlet as shown below:
    String launchURL = launchBaseURL + packid + "&elexssotoken=" + userkey;
    System.out.println("launchURL:" + launchURL);
    httpresponse.sendRedirect(launchURL);
    here the launch launchBaseURL=http://abc.com/elex/planner/CourseLaunch.aspx?_courseCode=
    In my Sysout the URL is generated correctly i.e
    http://abc.com/elex/planner/CourseLaunch.aspx?_courseCode=M-PTOS&elexssotoken=89bce4e0-c36d-4dc0-a9a2-0450c709cf64
    but on checking the HTTP traffic, I see the following flow
    #     Result     Protocol     Host     URL     Body     Caching     Content-Type     Process     Comments     Custom
    9243     302     HTTP     abc.com     /elex/planner/CourseLaunch.aspx?_courseCode=M-PTOS&elexssotoken=89bce4e0-c36d-4dc0-a9a2-0450c709cf64     221     private      text/html; charset=utf-8     iexplore:1440
    followed by:
    #     Result     Protocol     Host     URL     Body     Caching     Content-Type     Process     Comments     Custom
    9248     404     HTTP     mywebapp.com:9085     /elex/planner/CourseLaunch.aspx?_courseCode=M-PTOS&elexssotoken=89bce4e0-c36d-4dc0-a9a2-0450c709cf64     273          text/html     iexplore:1440
    Here I see that host abc.com is followed by mywebapp.com which I think is causing this issue. But I am not sure why it gets redirected to mywebapp.com when I launch the course for the 1st time, but works fine when I relaunch the same course again.

    I'm not getting what the hard part is: you're requesting a resource that doesn't exist. You're requesting something under 'helpSet0' and no such thing exists on your server. What do you exactly mean by I've tried all sorts of things that "should" work ?

  • Block delivery creation if price has not been maitaned in sales order

    Hi,
    I have the following issue.,
    Say if have a sales order with 4 schedule lines, where the price has been updated only for 2 schedule lines. The order is incomplete.
    Is it possible to block deliveries been created if all the schedule line prices are not complete, atleast for the schedule lines where a price has not been maintained?
    Appreciate your help on this.
    Keshini

    Hi,
    It is possible to save the order, however the order remains incomplete.
    They want the order to be saved without having the prices. Prices are known at a later stage before delivery creation.
    Can we set up the system so that no deliveries can be created if a price is not maintained in the sales order?
    Thanks

    Can't install latest version of itunes. "Errors occurred during installation. Your system has not been modified." Help?

    I had this, and after a large number of fruitless attempts, I had to reload Windows, which solved it. This was of course a real pain, but I had to do it since updating iTunes was necessary in order to get the new iOS version. But before doing such a drastic thing, you could try to restore Windows to a previous point in time by picking a restore point. This of course presumes that you really have some issues with your Windows (which I had) and that you can make a decent guess on when the system was ok (which I couldn't), i.e that you can decide a good date to restore to.

    Hi Vijay,
    The owner details are not loaded by default when you load all projects.
    You have to make sure the details of the project owner are loaded before you can access them:
    foreach (PublishedProject pubProj in projContext.Projects){
    User owner = pubProj.Owner;
    projContext.Load(owner);
    projContext.ExecuteQuery();
    Console.WriteLine(owner.LoginName);
