Go to settings, store, click on apple ID, sign out and sign back in with your ID. You can put her music into your account. That is illegal.

I recommend starting with a soft reset (pressing both home and power button until you see the apple then let go of the buttons) once you back on the home screen if you iPad still doing the same thing you may want to try a back up and restore

I am very disappointed (yet I somewhat understand) Apple and how they completely have no interest in helping return lost items. I don't believe the person who traded me this was from around here so I don't even know where to begin. I seen on ebay you can sell them for parts but I don't really believe in doing that and would like to at least try my best to get it back to whom it belongs to. I will be contacting my local police department regarding this but I don't think they will be able to do much if it was stolen from somewhere else. However if nobody claims it in 90 days and I have a letter from my local police station saying I am the new owner, will that be enough for apple to unhold their policy of proving the item belongs to you?

Pull the power cord from the back of the Time Capsule
Count to ten
Plug the power cord back into the back of the Time Capsule
This simple reset will fix this issue 98% of the time. If you are in the unlucky 2% category, more help is here:

Do you have a backup of your iPhone? If so, do a restore and whatever Notes were backed up should reappear.
You will lose any changes made since that backup though.

The only way to track or take additional actions is if Find my iPod was enabled. Go to http://icloud.com, click Find my iPhone; if it doesn't list your iPod then it wasn't enabled.

- Also, confirm your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers.

i updated itunes to version 10, no more connection to the itunes store, also, the ipod touch can not be found. I tried to restart the pod touch as recommended, but since then the pod shows on the display the cable and itunes, i connected the with the pc but the ipod still can not be found.
I tried everything which was recommended,all, also i have spoken with the support line, she recommend to deinstall all, but i can not deinstall the software "apple update", its not possible from my pc. I use windows vista.

thank you, but I tried all points / links since yesterday several times , i can deinstall 5 from 6 apple softwares, i can not deinstall Apple Software Update due an issue with an MSN Software package and i have to contact the owner of the software. Is that maybe the problem ? Also, if i try connect to the itunes store there comes always the error message 42408.
I dont know what I should do...i having no more ideas, nothing is working: no connection to the itunes store, no connection to the ipod, the ipod could not read on itunes, still on the ipod display the cable with the connection sign to itunes.
I think I have to bring the ipod tomorrow to the genius bar and ask them to restore my ipod touch.
Its an nightmare.....

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

HT1414 My daughter has an ipod touch 1/2nd generation not sure but it's older, and we can't open it because it says "IPod is disabled connect to iTunes" but it won't connect to my Imac either not sure what I should do?
