The volume button is stuck on my (6th generation) nano, how much will it cost to get it fixed and is it covered in the warranty?
As it says up top, The volume button got stuck. So, how much do you think it will cost me to get it fixed?
And is this something that is covered under the warranty?
I mean, the rest isn't broken or anything and is in working condition, I just need the volume button fixed.
The Apple warranty is one year. If you purchased your Nano less than one year ago, it is covered by the warranty. If purchased more than a year ago, it is not covered by the warranty. Apple has a flat rate ($80, plus tax) for an out-of-warranty Nano repair.

Google a third-party repair shop in your area to replace the screen. Should cost no more than US $50. I would never speed US $149 to do an out of warranty replacement on an iPhone 3G. You be better off purchasing a new/used iPhone 4 or 3GS before spending that kind of money on a 3G. If you can't get it fixed for US $50 or less, sell it for parts.

$65 for the 8 GB, $75 for the 16 GB. They won't replace the screen they will replace the entire Nano. Make sure you have it backed up and make a Genius Bar appointment at your nearest Apple Store.

p.s I just spent 80 dollars to get my cracked screen fixedMost likely the screen Digitizer Flex cable has come loose from the logic board. Take iPhone back to where the screen was fixed show them the iPhone and ask them to simply reseat the Digitizer Flex cable. They should do this for free, as it was their repair that has now gone bad.

If your device is under warranty, there is no charge.
If your device is not under warranty, the out of warranty exchange price is $199 if you are in the US.
