The volume on calls on my 4s is very low. How can I increase it?

I can barely hear what the caller says. Any suggestions?

You may need to check your settings to see if you have any volume limiting activated:

Lock the ringer and alert volumes.  Go to Settings > Sounds and turn off “Change with Buttons.” To limit the volume for music and videos, go to Settings > Music > Volume Limit.
