  • The bluetooth on my iPod touch has stopped working

I try to turn it on, but it just "thinks" and doesn't actually turn on. Only happening for the past week. I've reset my iPod and updated the software, but nothing has changed. Help anyone??

    Maybe:
iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim
One user reported that placing the iPod in the freezer fixed the problem.
If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

Turn VoiceOver on or off: Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > VoiceOver. You can also set Triple-click Home to turn VoiceOver on or off. See “Triple-click Home” on page 129.

  • HT201263 My iPod touch suddenly stopped working. It was fine, but when I went back the screen had gone black and I was unable to turn it on. It is now unresponsive and my computer does not recognize it when it is plugged in. What should I do?

My iPod touch suddenly stopped working. It was fine earlier, but when I went back a few hours later, the screen had gone black and I was unable to turn it on. It is now unresponsive and my computer does not recognize it when it is plugged in. I thought it just needed to be charged but there seems to be a larger issue now. What should I do?

Let your ipod die. Then when it is dead charge it adn turn it back on. After that it should be fine.

ipod touch has stopped working. the screen showes that it need to connect to power.

    Hey there our3goldens,
It sounds like you are unable to successfully boot your iPod Touch. I would recommend these steps specifically from the following article, named:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3281
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged. Learn more about charging iPhone and iPod touch, or iPad.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more aboutrestoring iOS software.
If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Apple.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the best,
    Sterling

I was playing a game and my ipod touch just stopped working!  How do you restore it , as of now it has a bright white screen and won't power off or even connect to my computer.

Try restoring via iTunes. If necessary. try placing the iPod in recovery mode using one of these programs and then restore:

    If necessary:
    Download QTMLClient.dll & iTunesMobileDevice.dll for RecBoot

  • My Ipod touch email stopped working after installing Update

my Ipod touch email stopped working after installing the latest firmware update from Apple what should I do?

    Hi, jewlssch.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
If the Mail application will not launch, I would recommend processing any available updates on your Mac Pro and test launching Mail.  If the issue persists, process a reinstall of Mavericks.
    Reinstall OS X
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH10763
Make sure to backup all of your data prior to reinstalling OS X 10.9.

  • I own an iPod touch which stopped working...what can I do?

I own an iPod touch which stopped working and this being a quality team and prestige is that I have to be considered as disposable as so far I have not been able to repair and I am sorry I took some effort for me it . If your business is equally as good customer service and say I can do to solve the problem and my equipment is still functional. Thank you for your attention to this.

Oredinarily, I would ask if it's still in warranty and, if so, recommend that you contact Apple.  However, you indicated that you attempted to repair the Touch yourself so I suspect that you have voided the warranty.  You might want to try Apple anyway and see what happens.

  • My iPod touch screen stopped working, how do i fix it?

My iPod(4th generation) touch screen stopped working. Okay so it was fine earlier, my home button does not work so i have been using the assistive button for months, and until earlier today it got stuck, i tried to power it off but it doesn't let me slide to power it off, and it doesn't let me press anything on the assistive menu either, and i'm currently waiting for my ipod to die but it's taking forever since it's battery lasts forever! is there any other solutions you can give me?
and i was wondering if my ipod has life insurance with apple so if something is wrong with the screen, can i take it for a new one? (my ipod is in very good conditions, not cracked or scratched, just the home button is an issue)
    thanks!

  • The screen of my ipod touch is not working. it turned white with green bars. what shall i do? :(

I didn't drop it. Im using it for only 9 days.... why did it happened?

iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
All the troubleshooting steps in the above are likely to lead you to restoring the iPod. Follow the instructions in this procedure to the letter. Here they are, with emphasis on some easily overlooked requirements:
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release only the Sleep/Wake button.
Continue pressing and holding the Home button while you reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.Note: If you see the "low battery" screen, let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some charge, and then start with step 2 again.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears (iTunes icon and USB connector) release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the "recovery mode" alert ("iTunes has detected a phone in recovery mode").
Use iTunes to restore the device.
If you do not see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, try these steps again. If you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen but the device does not appear in iTunes, see this article and its related links.
Select the iPod in iTunes and choose "restore from backup".
If you still can't get it to work, you have done all you can and only Apple will be able to help.

  • All the outer buttons on my Ipod touch 4gen  stopped working

I hadn't had my iPod for a while so the amount of apps I had to update was crazy. I pressed update all and waited. I couldn't do much on the ipod cuz most of the good apps were updating. I waited for about 15 minutes and rechecked my ipod. Most of them were still updating. Only 3-4 had successfully updated. I was becoming restless so I started playing with my ipod. I opened an app and was using it for a while. I got bored and pressed the home button to exit the app but the home button wasn't working. I though it had just frozen. My ipod did that alot but recovered quite quickly usually. So I touched the screen and the app still worked. Nothing at happened to it. I tried the sleep button and that wouldn't work either. The volume buttons weren't working as well. I put it on my carging dock and left it there for a while hoping that the lock scrren would show up but it didn't and now I have no idea what to do. Apple Inc. isn't exactly helping me cux their lines are busy. The battery is full so I thought I might wait till the battery died and then charge the ipod and hopefully it would work again. Please help me!! I don;t know what else to do. All the buttons were working fine then they ALL stopped suddenly.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
