The volume will only go to the highest level and I am unable to lower the volume even when sliding the bar
I am unable to adjust the volume level. The slider bar goes to the maximum volume even after I try to adjust it lower.
Try the standard fixes:
- Reset:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore the iPod from backup
- Restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod.

Lightroom 5 will only download one image from my card, when I shot 10. Iphoto doesn't have a problem with it. I never had this problem with Lightroom 4.
Sort by capture time and the images won't be "scattered all over the place".
Just show "NEW" photos in the import.

if possible??? how do we configure the mac mini to allow the clients to access both partitions...the client will only see the one we are logged into at the server???
You have to explicitly share directories on external/secondary volumes.
Use the Server admin app to configure file sharing, and select which directory/directories on the second drive you want to share, then they'll be available to clients. -
I bought a new album off of iTunes the wifi wasn't strong so I left my computer on as it was downloading and went to sleep. This morning I went to listen to the songs and some of the songs will only play the first 50 sec or the first minute? How do i fix it or refresh them so i can listen to them fully?

I have an apple tv 3 but when i use Home Sharing from my Windows Laptop the Apple TV shows all my music on the TV but it will only play 1 or 2 songs and then stops!!! Annoying, so I have to re-start iTunes on my Laptop and it will play 1 or 2 more songs then stops again!!! still annoying.
Can anyone assist me with this issue?

Next, plug the Apple TV into your computer with a micro-usb cable (most phones today use these) and start up Itunes. It should detect the Apple TV in recovery.
After that, hold down Option on Apple or Alt on Windows and click Restore. This should open a window that allows you to select the software update you want to apply. Select the one you downloaded earlier.
It will then go through the restore process, which takes only a few minutes, and then you will be able to plug the Apple TV back in to your display and set it up again.
I recently ran into a similar issue with a bunch of these things and after restoring them all to the previous software version they are working again. -
I've recently purchased an iMac and connected up my HP Photosmart C4280printer. The computer downloaded the driver but the printer will only print in black and white. I've looked in preferences etc but cant see any way to change this. Any ideas??

I created a new library so I can use it for just my music, but now my ipod will only sync to my old library and not the new one I created, even though I'm in the new library when I open itunes. Any solutions?
The point is that there are four i product users for one computer in my house, and not everyone wants the same music on their device. Like I said before, the ipod is not syncing to the new library even though I plug it in when the new itunes library is pulled up. It keeps syncing to the old library...

I did an update a couple of days ago: and it seemed to be working fine. Just did another update today: got a flashing light, sometimes a blank screen, and sometimes the itunes logo / USB symbol... -
I have an old iPod Classic, 5th generation with video 30 GB. I sync via a pc. Since syncing it three days ago, the songs will only play the first three minutes and five seconds. Then it moves on to the next song or if it's the last song, it goes back to the menu. I just synced again and it it still doing it.It also has a small group of dots near the middle of the screen that weren't there before.Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks.

i bought the album Attack! Attack! by Attack Attack and most of the songs will only play halfway then they will just go silent i have tried contacting apple about this but have found no real topic on their site to do with this problem and there seems to be no email address for support that i can find can an of you help me?
Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the broken tracks from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If you don't see them straight away it may help to close and restart iTunes.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

thank you for your response, i appreciate it. there's definitely nothing wrong with the mouse or trackpad, both work fine in every other application....i can also easily change size dimensions in other programs on my computer so it doesn't seem to be that either. it seems like there is something weird going on in the way that pse and my mac are interacting with each other, just wish i knew what it was. thank you again, wish me luck! -
2 x ipods 1 will play music on docking staitons x 3 the other will only charge
I have 2 ipods in this house and 3 docking stations. The first ipod is the 4th generation 8gb and the second is a 16gb 4th generation.
The 8gb ipod will charge and play music on all 3 docking stations, however, the 16gb will only charge on all of them. I am tearing my hair out trying to figure out whether it is the ipod or not. i have matched the settings on both ipods so they are the same and still no music on the docking station.
I would be really greatful if anyone can shed some light on this for me, coz im dammed if i know!!!!!!!Do both had the same iOS version?
Try:
- Inspect the dock connector for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I've just downloaded a sd movie from iTunes with my ipad but the movie will only play for 13s then a msg comes up saying "could not load video! I've paid for it and downloaded the whole thing ! Can anybody help me pls?

I would recommend deleting the affected movie from your iPad, and redownloading the movie.
