The way to run a sample.

I installed Flash Media Server 2, Flash 5, Extension Manager,
Dreamweaver 8 both in "C:\Program Files\Macromedia" directory. I
uncompressed "fms2_sample_apps.zip" in applications directory. But
I don't know how to run these sample.
I readed " Tutorial 1: Recording a Stream" but don't
understand "add an embedded Video object by selecting New Video
from the library's Options menu" sentence and thens.
Please help me!

What system are you running this code on and are you using the LabVIEW Real-Time Module? There is a presentation online on Optimizing and Benchmarking Real-Time code with useful related links as well as other articles in the DevZone on things like Benchmarking an Application Using LabVIW Real-Time and DAQmx.
As you can see, this is not a simple question, so take a look at the information in these links and see if you can narrow down what in your code is running slowly and how much you might be able to improve the speed.

I opened the attachment on a malicious email in error on my IPad and have been informed by the genuine company that it will download malware software. Is this possible on my IPad or is there a way of running a security scan to see if it has been infected?

Can my IPad be infected this way or does anyone know if there is a way of running a security scan to check if there is a problem? I do have the most up to date IOS software installed.

There is no anti-malware for iOS, at least none that actually does anything useful. The odds of getting any malware infection via an email attachment on an iOS device is quite low - practically non-existent. Unless you are seeing any issues, there isn't much to do, other than deleting the email and being more cautious in the future.

Since the iOS7 update on my iPad 2, I am having trouble charging it if it runs all the way down, and now, my Safari won't work at all, and it locks up when I click on Safari in the Setting section. I have tried restoring, and Safari still does not work??

I cannot reset the Ipad either, Safari won't work, and it won't charge properly if the battery runs all the way down...

Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.

FireFox won't run and won't get out of the way;how do I get rid of FireFox?

I have used FireFox for several years and have been happy with it. Recently it quit working and claims to have forwarded to Mozilla the hang-up but it still intervenes every time I try to use the internet and announces that it has blown up and needs to send crash report to Mozilla and over and over again. I liked FireFox but I want it to get the ___out of the way if it is not going to work. It will not get out of the way.

Open up internet explorer, go to [http://www.getfirefox.com www.getfirefox.com]. Click the big "Download Now" button, then click "Run". Let Firefox download, and follow the steps to install it. After it is finished, restart your PC, and try firing Firefox up again. Does it work?
If it doesn't, try to start Firefox in Safe Mode. Basically, just hold down the Shift key while you click on the Firefox icon, and it should start in Safe Mode. If it does, choose to disable all add-ons (we will re-enable them later) and reset all preferences (make sure you don't delete your bookmarks or personal data).
Now you should be able to start Firefox normally. You can go to your add-ons, and reenable your extensions one by one until you find what is causing the crash, and keep that one disabled.
Let me know if you still are having problems.

Nevermind, I got it working.
I ended up extracting the new vob within MPEG Streamclip, which gave me an m2v and an aiff audio. I multiplexed those two back together in FFMpegX which gave me a complete VIDEO_TS folder with BUP and IFO files I needed.

Ah, well, then the notes are probably gone. Did you save any of the email from that account on your computer? The notes might be there if you did.

What's the right way to run a consolidation in HFM from FDM?

New to FDM. Things are working ok, but wondering what's the best way to run a consolidation in HFM after loading.

You need to create a validation entity.
On the validation entity, make sure you click the Consolidate check box. Then in integration settings, click Enable Consolidation. You need to also turn on the Force Calculate option. If this is a multicurrency app and you want translation to run, also enable the Force Translate option of the adaptor.

What is the most reliable way to run one Windows accounting program in Osx 10.5.8?

I have a simple Windows application where I basically do my accounts. I do not want to tie up my Imacs resources with running a full Windows Os "emulation" like Paralells or VMware Fusion just to run a simple accounting program.
I have heard about apps that can run one windows application at the time through a kind of Osx Application which emulates windows some how. Is is true that this is a better way of running my accounting program? Is it reliable? What I do is to punch in invoices and print out reports basically. How much resources does this "consume" to run it in "one simple application mode" in comparison with for example Paralells?
And what is the term for running windows in "one simple application mode"?

I guess you could try the free trial of CrossOver. http://www.codeweavers.com/products/crossover/ You did not say what app you want to run so it is difficult for us to recommend crossover as being able to run the app.
But your question is that you are looking for the "most reliable" way to run a Windows program. In my opinion you need Parallels or Fusion. These run the real Windows OS so my thinking is it is the "most reliable" method of running a Windows app on an Apple computer, other than Boot Camp.
But you said you don't want Parallels. This is probably why you have not received any responses. You eliminated the most reliable and easiest method, in my opinion, when you initially posted. Parallels does not consume any resources until you start it up to use your app. You can close it after you are done with your app. Of course hard drive space is required for storing the OS, your app, and data. But you still need to store your app and data regardless of method you choose.
One more thing, Parallels and Fusion create a virtual machine for running Windows.
So my recommendation, use Parallels or Fusion.

No idea if Windows will do it, but you can run Windows without Bootcamp & have OSX available at the same time, which should give you all the Monitors that OSX uses.

I am unsure how it can be determined the payment mix up was the fault of CS, but regardless, the mix up was done. I have a thin horizontal line running across my screen about 1/4 of the way from the bottom of the monitor. Why is it there and how do I get rid of it?

There is a thin horizontal line running across the width of my screen about 1/4 of the way from the bottom. This line, along with an occasional vertical line about a 1/3 of the way from the right side of my monitor, started appearing about 7 days ago. Usually the line would disappear after a restart but now it seems intent on staying. Does anyone know what is going on and how can I resolve this?
