The Weather in Notification center

Some weather status icons don*t appear in Notification center
I couldn`t upload a photo so here it is http://imgur.com/7ZdQLBC

Same here. I don't see any weather at all. I saw a screenshot example online of the text-based weather information, but my Notification Center isn't showing that.
My Location Services are definitely turned on and Weather isn't listed as an option in my Notification Center settings.

  • IOS7 Weather on Notification Center

Ever since I downloaded iOS 7, the weather screen on my notification center has disappeared, anyone know how to toggle the feature and re-add weather to notification center?

It would look like this ... not a full weather display but a few words:

  • Repost: Where is the Weather widget in the iOS 7 Notification Center?

I will award ten points to a verified "no" or "yes" with a brief explanation how to enable.
I understand it is not a full widget, but that's what Apple used to call it in iOS 5 and 6. Anyway, let me give more information. I cleared all of my notifications. This means that the All and Missed tabs are completely empty. Swiping to the left and right just brings me to these empty menus. I have everything turned on except for Stocks in the Notification Center. My "Today" view consists of Today Summary, Calendar Day View, and the Tommorow Summary tab at the very bottom. There is no mention at all about Weather at all in Settings>Notification Center, which leads me to think Apple just dumped this feature. Can anyone verify this?

The Weather is still there.  Make sure the Weather App is allowed access to Location services.
    Settings->Prvacy->Location Services->Weather.
Then Open the weather App to generate the Weather for your current location and it should appear in the Today tab under the date.
Its a Text Blurb now with no images.

Am I missing something, why isn't weather showing up in the notification Center of IOS7?

  • IOS 8.1 Weather App/Notification Center

I'm currently using iOS 8.1 on my iPhone 5c and since i have upgraded i have noticed that, randomly, the native weather app looses its detailed information. Sometimes i can view the details (sunrise, sunset, chance of rain, humidity, etc..) other times it disappears... further, once its disappeared i have noticed the notification center weather update is also missing... very frustrating... I have reset the phone a few times and it seems to solve the problem for a short time, but the issue returns. All the appropriate location settings are on and in place... its almost like the data the phone retrieves from "The Weather Channel" is not avail at times... and other times it is... anyone with any ideas... or am i to wait for iOS 8.1.1 release hopefully with a fix?

I'm in the same boat as you. One day it just stopped working. I've tried all the tricks, and am very hesitant to try and restore just to get that blurb back.
The problem is, it was incredibly convenient and simple. That's what other app makers just don't get, I don't need a map, I don't need a huge blurb about the weather. I SURE as heck don't want to check out videos from my drop down.
    I JUST WANT THE WEATHER.
I can't seem to find anyone really reporting on this issue, not to any serious degree. I hate that it worked and then, poof, just stopped. I can only hope this is an 8.1 bug and that another release is around the corner that will fix it, because I'm getting pretty darn fed up.

  • Weather in notification center

I can't get the weather to show in the notification center. Location services is enabled. Weather is enabled. Any suggestion?

    Hi Donster,
You should be able to see it in "Notification Center" but not in the way you would expect.  It's "text" instead of the "icons" we were use to before.  Check under the date.  By touching this text, it will launch the weather app on your phone.  Let me know if this doesn't work.

  • IOS 6 to iOS 7.... The Struggle w Notification Center

    Hi Guys!
I am a long time iPhone user and I currently have an iPhone 5 on Sprint. I just dowloaded the new iOS 7 and there are some things that I enjoy and lots of things that I DO NOT.... If anyone has any fixes for this I would love to hear them! Thanks so much!
My BIGGEST stuggle is that I lost my "List" view in calendar and in the notification center.... That is hands down the biggest thing I used my iPhone for besides texting. I have a very busy schedule and I rely very heavily on my phone to keep my calendar straight. Does anyone know any way to get the new iOS to display more than one thing on the screen...
I want to go back to where it had all my calendar events displayed with the time at the very top of the screen just below the weather...
Bringing me to my next issue...
I do not have the weather in my nofication center! Yet on the bottom it says weather provided by yahoo... but I have no weather!
Anyway - these may seem silly but they are important to me so if anyone has any fixes for these I would LOVE your help!
    Have a great day!
    Best,
    Amanda

Upgrading  from 6 to 7 and downgrading from 8 to 7 is exactly the same thing. You're trying to install IOS 7 when it is no longer officially available. Your sister got lucky, your iPad could turn into a brick. Should you attempt to install IOS 7 and something goes wrong Apple won't help you and we are prevented from helping.

  • How to change font size of the date in notification center?

The language of yosemite system on my macbook pro is “Traditional Chinese”. If the month and day of  a date are both composed of two characters, for example, Oct 23 (“10月23日” in Chinese), the last character of the date will go to a new line (as shown in the picture attached). It’s ugly!!!
I think this issue can be solved by decrease the font size of the date. Is there anyone knows how to do this or where the configuration file of the notification center is? Thanks!

AFAIK there is no way to customize this font size. You can't resize the window either.
You need to report it to Apple Feedback so it can be logged and put in the queue to be fixed.

  • My mail is not updating in notification center, I cant receive the mail in notification center, help?

Hi, I recently purchased a copy of Mac OS X Mountain Lion, after playing around with notification center I realized that if I get new mail I have to open my mail in the application so that it can appear in the notification center, why cant it just appear in notification center without having to open mail, thanks.

You have to open Mail. The reason is unknown now, but Apple can add it in an update soon

  • How do I disable birthdays from the iOS 5 notification center?

I don't think it can be done - I hope it's not intended to work this way.

    Same here!
I'm syncing my iPhone 4 (iOS5) with Outlook. Birthdays are stored with my contacts and created in the Outlook calendar. Thus they are synced to the iPhone-calendar. But as I sync the contacts as well, my iPhone creates a birthday calender. This one can be hidden in the iOS-Calender-App, but the birthdays show up in the notification center no matter if the calender is hidden or not.
I'd be nice if you could just disable the automatic birthday calender function of iOS and get rid of the double notifications and crowded NC.

  • How do I get the weather to show up in notification center?

I have an iPhone and enjoy the quick viewing of the weather and stock information on the easy access notification center pull down.  However on my iPad also running iOS 5 I have not been able to get the weather or stocks to show up in the notification center.  Please assist in how one my get this (or similar) functionality.
    Thanks in advance.

You can't on the iPad - it doesn't have native Weather or Stocks apps like the iPhone and third-party apps don't have access to the Notification panel.

  • HT3576 How do show actual weather info for location I am in with the notification center. I am in the San Fernando

I live in the San Fernando Valley and I get weather info for the Los Angeles area.  Is there a way to change the pull down notification center to provide correct weather info?

I understand what you have explained. Everything is set properly. However, does not solve the issue. I know how to add cities, but you cannot select these cities for pull down notification weather info.  I guess this is something that happens in our area. I live in 91343 and it shows info for 90012. Thanks for trying.

  • I cannot view any weather info in iOS 7 Notification Center. Any ideas how to turn this widget on? Stocks and daily calendar are there, just not weather.

Location services are on. Weather app is installed. I can get weather info if I go to the app. That info is completely nonexistent in the pull down Notification Center.
    Any ideas?

Never mind.. I turned off location services for the weather app, turned it back on and now it's magically working.

  • I can't get more than 2 calendar events to post in the notification center even though I have 10 items checked in the settings area. Any advice?

I can't get more than 2 calendar events to post in the drop down notification center, even though I have 10 checked in the settings area. Any advice?

Same here. I've been searching for a solution but have found nothing.

  • Lock Screen notification center - I want messages to show in the N/C but not on the actual lock screen itself. Any way to do this?

In ios7, is there any way to have incoming text messages show up in the notification center on the lock screen but not pop up on the actual lock screen itself? I cant get this combination to work and it seems like it shoud. The text notificaitons do not show at all on the L/S notification center unless I choose the allow on lock screen option. But this not only puts it in the L/S notification center but also adds it to the lock screen itself. I dont want it to do both.

Your email accounts will not actually be reset.  The only things that will get reset if you hit reset settings will be your homescreen and lockscreen (your pictures will still be on your phone they just default back to the initial ones), the size of your text, the sounds you use for text messages and ringtones (any of the ones that you have specifically customized for certain contacts will not be reset it's only the ones that you use for yourself) and a couple other minor things.  None of the apps that you have to set up personall as in facebook or twitter will reset. I really recommend do this, nothing major will get reset on the phone it's just some minor  settings.  Just make sure to hit 'Reset All Settings' and NOT 'Reset All Content And Settings'.
I've also tried it with messages app specifically after I hit 'Reset All Settings' and it works like a charm.  No messages pop up on my screen but I can access and preview in the notification center without having to unlock my phone.
