The website won't save my contacts photos?

Hi,
Got my new Vivaz the other day. I began uploading photos to contacts details in my profile/account on the Sony Ericsson website to sync onto my phone. I only had time to do the first half of my phonebook, the photos saved successfully and synced fine onto my phone. However the next day I spent ages uploading the rest but they wouldn't sync onto my phone. When I logged back into my account later that day to attempt it again, the pictures were gone. So I did it all again (they still wouldn't sync onto phone). I've done it twice now, and today logged on to find the photos have dissapeared of contacts profile yet again. Each time I upload a photo I click 'update' and they appear to save there while I'm browsing the site. So why won't they stay or sync onto my phone? Can anyone advise?
The photos I successfully synces originally are still there.

Taking Photo's with the camera and adding as a contact photo

Using my new Palm Pre 2 and took a photo to add as a contact.
The process is simple enough to assign the photo taken to the contact, by lining up within the square and pressing Assign to contact.
However the end result just shows a blurred image of the enlarged photo.
Does anyone know how a picture taken with the camera can be set to view correctly as the contact?
Imported photo's work fine, but that defeats the object, i.e. you see a friend, take their photo but can't add it correctly to your contacts.

That's correct - there is only one camera on the TouchPad, and it was meant for video chatting. The camera app was added by HP as an afterthought when other Homebrew authors started writing their own "Camera" apps.

I ended up getting a new phone, straight through Apple. I called their technical support and went through all he basics again and they decided to replace it. Was a pretty quick process - after defaulting and resetting the whole phone (about 2 hours), I called them back to inform that there was no change, so they set up the order.
I had to give my CC# so they could hold a charge on it (in case I didn't send my old phone bach, which they sent me a pre-posted package to send it in anyway). Had a brand new iPhone 4S in my hands in 4 days, which was pretty decent. I had uploaded everything previously to iCloud, so setting up the new phone was a snap.
Only thing I really didn't like was they charged me almost 30 bucks for shipping or processing, or something. Not so sure that should have been my responsibility after spending so much on a brand new product, only to have to have it warrantied after, like, a month.

Websites won't save in history

Hi, I've owned my new computer for roughly 3 or 4 months now but the other day my computer stopped saving history of wesites visited. Not all, but most. If I go to a new site, it will save the initial page but won't save any consequetive pages on that site. It saves documents opened etc....
My computer is a HP Model p6731a
I'm using windows 7 SP1 IE9.
I've already checked in Internet Options and the 'Delete Browsing History on Exit' button is UNchecked.
Any help would be appreciated.

The Internet Explorer reset will only affect the settings in your Internet Explorer 9 browser.

Anyone know why my iPhoto program won't save my edited photos?

I can see them in the album and in the "events" in my library. When I open it that far, I see all of my edited photos, but when I open them individually, they are unedited unless I click on the "EDIT" button....THEN, they show up edited! They are also unedited when I post them on Facebook or if I save them to my desktop or when I actually have one printed! THAT tells me that for some reason, iPhoto is not automatically saving my editing like it says it does! And....I HATE the fact that there is no "SAVE" or "SAVE CHANGES" button!!! Not all of them, but the ones that I recently took in jpeg format and not raw. Bummed! Please help! Thank you! When I first got my camera, I didn't know about the "RAW" setting so I was using JPEG back then and it worked. Why all of a sudden is it not???....FRUSTRATED.

Try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder.
(On 10.7: Hold the option (or alt) key while clicking on the Go menu in Finder to access the User Library)
(Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
What's the plist file?
For new users: Every application on your Mac has an accompanying plist file. It records certain User choices. For instance, in your favourite Word Processor it remembers your choice of Default Font, on your Web Browser is remembers things like your choice of Home Page. It even recalls what windows you had open last if your app allows you to pick up from where you left off last. The iPhoto plist file remembers things like the location of the Library, your choice of background colour, whether you are running a Referenced or Managed Library, what preferences you have for autosplitting events and so on. Trashing the plist file forces the app to generate a new one on the next launch, and this restores things to the Factory Defaults. Hence, if you've changed any of these things you'll need to reset them. If you haven't, then no bother. Trashing the plist file is Mac troubleshooting 101.

How do I get my photos to present like the Apple TV screen saver presents its photos?

I would like to have my Ipad picture albums present on my Apple TV like the factory screen saver pictures that the Apple TV presents. Any ideas how to do that?

You need to go into the settings and set the screensaver to show your photos. Make sure you have shared photos via iTunes (File - home sharing - choose photos to share). iTunes needs to be up and running so it can cache the photos on ATV flash drive. FYI: It only uses a small portion (typically around 100)

HT1677 What happens when you press "save" and the device won't save your settings?

Today, I upgraded my ipod touch 4 gen to IOS 6.
I just tried to save my settings under Safari, and I get an error message, "https://www.google.com Sorry, we failed to save your settings. Try again later."
I tried most of the evening, and still the same error message...
I've tried to "Google" the error message, there is NO match, lots of other stuff, but no match to my error message.

Mor info on this issue, I can't disable the "Search History" (ie: check "Do not save searches") IF I try I get the error message...
I seem to be able to disable the rest of the stuff, without the Search History checked "do not save searches" and save without the error.
If I try to check only "do not save searches" it will give me the error.
There must be something in IOS6 that I checked in someother place on my device that is causing my issue.
BTW there is no option to "remove all website data" on my device, it just show a "grayed out" "0 bytes" beside the "term" Website Data.

Sometimes when I open a link in a new tab and then switch to the tab, the address bar clears and the website won't open.

Sometimes when I open a link in a new tab and then switch to the tab, the address bar clears and I'll have to re open the tab and hope that doesn't happen again. Sometimes this happens again and again. Most of the times if I just open the link in a new tab and don't switch to it, this won't happen. But as I switch too the tab, the text would disappear and the link wouldn't open.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Even if cookies are enabled (iPad) the website won't open

All students in my iPad class have enabled all cookies to be able to visit a subject related website. One student however keeps getting the message that he should enable cookies. I have checked his Safari setting together with our school ICT consultant and his settings are okay. What to do?

Won't save websites password

I have tried two advice one is click on Remember password in option and that did not save the website password. I have tried disable Remember password as I can't find anywhere in option that clear history when closing the application. Even on website, I click on "Remember me" or "Remember password", either Firefox or the website won't save the password for next time in Firefox. I have version 29.0.1. I even uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox with no success. Example of two websites I am having problem saving password for are Myspace and AOL. Can is there something I am missing to make this work? you can find several add-ons that can override this, and give you better
control of your password information.
One last thing. In the event that the passwords information is lost, you
should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else
on your hard drive. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so.
If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can
compress it using a password.

Photos won't save to camera roll

Since I installed iOS7, all the pictures I take with the camera won't save to camera roll. I see them in the lower corner of the camera but when I click on it, they are not in the camera roll. In the camera roll, I just have a bunch of pictures that I deleted months (or years!) ago. I uninstalled my profile and reinstalled it two or three times with always the same result.
All the settings are ok.
I installed the profile of a friend on my phone to test it and everything works fine with his profile.
Anyone can help me out with this issue?

bluetooth is an APPLE issue: they have blocked many of the 'normal' bluetooth features on 'other' handsets..
an example you may be thinking of is Sharing a photo via Bluetooth .. simple everywhere else, but can not be done on iphone
-you have to use it via an app such as iphoto, or send it attatched via an email, from the iphone.

Iphone 6 won't save contacts

my iPhone won't save my contacts. every time i try to save a number it disappear from my contacts?

Every time I saved a new contact, I noticed it wouldn't appear in my list... I clicked on 'Groups' at the top left and realised that my Gmail account wasn't ticked, I presume this is where they save to as default, I clicked 'Show all accounts' and all the ones I thought were missing appeared!

How do I download my contact photos to my Mac?

I cannot seem to be able to save my contact photos to my mac. It does not appear on the Camera Roll. The photos were taken as I added new contacts and now I would like to save the whole picture. The contact sync with Address Book only gives a small thumbnail. Is this possible?

So... is there any way to at least view the contact photos as full-screen images on the iPhone, or do I have to wait for my contact to call me if I want to view their photo as anything other than the thumbnail that appears on the contact screen? I just can't believe that since the photo shows up full-screen when they call that there's no way for me to view it that way outside of a call. Why wouldn't photos taken to be used as contact images be saved in the Camera Roll photo album?
