The wireless keyboard doesn't have a page down key. How do you program a keyboard shortcut for Page Down?
My new wireless keyboard doesn't have a page down key. Very customer-hostile, at least in Office Apps. The list of available keyboard shortcuts doesn't inclue Page Down. Anyone know how to program a keyboard shortcut for Page Down?

I just bought a new IMAC and I want to install the Office Mac 2011, but it doesn´t have a CD unit. How can I do it?
Howard has the easiest answer. Or at least, cheapest, since you don't need to purchase an external CD/DVD drive.
The "demo" software from Microsoft's site is exactly the same as what's on the DVD. Install that and activate it with the key in your software box.

How do I install Office for Mac 2011 if my Mac doesn't have a DVD drive?
There are two options for installing Office for Mac if your Mac doesn't have a DVD drive.
Option 1: Convert your Office for Mac 2011 trial. To convert a trial version, you must have a valid product key. The product key will convert your trial into a fully licensed version of Office for Mac.
1. Locate the 25-character product key in your product package or confirmation email.
2. Open any Office for Mac application, like Word, PowerPoint, or Excel.
3. On the first screen of the Microsoft Office Setup Assistant, click Enter your Product Key.
4. Enter your product key and complete the installation instructions.
Option 2: If you have not previously installed the trial version, you can download Office for Mac from the Office for Mac website. To download, install, and activate the software you must have a valid Office 2011 product key.
1. Locate your 25-character product key found in your product package or confirmation email.

3. Click Get Started to start the download process.

Spry tabbed panels and "The tag: "li" doesn't have an attribute: "tabindex" ..."
Hi,
I've been using the DW CS4 "Spry Tabbed Panels" on a few pages. When I validate the website (with DW tool for that), I get the following messages for each use of the tabbed panels: The tag: "li" doesn't have an attribute: "tabindex" in currently active versions. [XHTML 1.0 Transitional].
Should I worry about this? I'd like to have a code as clean and XHTML valid as possible. Is there a way to fix this so the message doesn't come up anymore?

If validation is important to you, you need to remove tabindex. Should you worry about it? Not really. Sometimes it makes sense to ignore validation to achieve a particular goal, which is why Spry widgets use tabindex in a technically invalid way.

I cannot print from my ipad. It is connected to the wireless okay. I have only had this ipad for a month and while I am not sure I think it has been okay to print before 2 days ago, when I tried to print and I got the message "Airprinter not found" Has anyone experienced this and if so what did you do about it? I downloaded Yosemite OS X and when I try to select my HD (the disk) where I want to install it, the hard drive doesn't have enough space. I have a MacBook Pro bought in 2008. What can I do and still have all my files? I haven't backed up...
Freeing Up Space on The Hard Drive
1. See Lion/Mountain Lion/Mavericks' Storage Display.
2. You can remove data from your Home folder except for the /Home/Library/ folder.
3. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on freeing up space on your hard drive.
4. Also see Freeing space on your Mac OS X startup disk.
5. See Where did my Disk Space go?.
6. See The Storage Display.
You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits.
Try using OmniDiskSweeper 1.8 or GrandPerspective to search your drive for large files and where they are located.
I recommend that you also make a backup before proceeding. Just quit the installer. -
I need a calendar for my iPhone 4s which shows 'every 4th Saturday'or 'every 2nd Tuesday', etc., which unlike the Android caledar, the Apple one doesn't have. I've looked at others on the App Store, none of which appear to have this particular ability. Any ideas?
You can do this in iCloud calendars, actually. You just can't do it directly on the device. But, if you go to icloud.com & edit the calendar event, you can select "Custom" from the dropdown for Repeat & it will let you put in "every 4 wks on saturday" or even "every 28 days." But, again, you'd have to be using iCloud & you can only do this on the website.

I have just purchased the latest macbook pro 13 retina (late 2013). I want to connect to a Dell U2713H Monitor. As the new macbook doesn't have a cd slot, I am unable to install the monitor drivers etc. Where can I download the drivers?

After I made the upgrade to 10.8, the camera (integrated iSight) started making problems.
When I log out or restart, everything works (PhotoBooth, Skype), but after a couple of days running
the integrated iSight can not be accessed any more. Skype and PhotoBooth say "no camera".

I have a 15" Macbook Pro Mid 2009, 2.53GHz with Nvidia 9400M 256MB RAM.
I hope the coming update 10.8.2 will fix it.

This corroborates me saying that Java for Mac OS 10.6 is done through Software Update, no where else.
If any Mac OS 10.6 user does not have Java on their Mac, they get it from Apple just as the link you provided shows it is from Apple. Not Oracle. You have provided the evidence that plainly contradicts yourself.

Just to go over this again. Software Update not only updates Java to the latest, but if Java does not exist at all, SU will install it from scratch. And in doing so will be the latest version.
Providing a link to Oracle's site is useless information that does not get Java installed on a Mac running 10.6.

I am trying to install an app, I'm asked to enter my password, but my keyboard won't pop up, only the option to paste, but when I choose paste, nothing fills in (which makes sense as I have not copied anything). How can I make my keyboard appear?
Are you tapping on the field you want to enter data into? That opens the soft keyboard. If you touch the field and hold it, the paste option will appear.
