The wirless icon dosnt appear in the top right bar..

Hi..
I bought a new macbook pro and it dosent have the wirless icon to connect to the router and when I go to options of the wire, there does not appear the Airport... what can I do?

Have you tried adding a new port for Airport as I suggested earlier?

Thanks a lot for your swift response. And sorry if it was a bit too hectic to go through my detailed query (which I did because it was misunderstood when I asked previously). As I've mentioned above, I was informed that updating to 5.0.1 would '''require''' me to '''delete''' the current version and then install the new one. And doing so will involve losing all my bookmarks. I guess I should have been more specific and detailed there. By losing, I didn't mean losing them forever. I'm aware that they're secured in some place and deleting and installing the software doesn't harm its existence. What I meant that if I install the new version, I'd have to delete the old one. And after installing the new version, I'd have to transfer them (bookmarks) back from wherever they are. Get it? When it updated from 3.6.9 to 3.6.13, and from 3.6.13 to 3.6.18, I didn't need to follow that process. They were already present on their own.
BTW, I'm having no problems with 3.6.18 but after learning about the existence of version 5.0.1, I'm a bit too eager to lay my hands over it.

Interesting bug. I'm cautiously optimistic this will get rid of the weekly annoyance. The difference is that I bought my laptop back in Feb 2015, so it came with Yosemite. I think the issue may have appeared soon after an OS update not long after I got the thing, though. I was using a sudo command in the Terminal, but that is obviously not a fix.
I wonder if there is a broken .plist file that may be fixed ...?

It has the Icloud icon in the top right hand corner of the cover and if i click on play it starts to download from Icloud again and it does this each time i wish to play it, the same now happens to all my purcased movies which of course uses additional ISP download allowance. Before the recent update and lay out of Itunes this didn't happen i just purchased a movie and downloaded it then synced it to my ipod and enjoyed it. But now this latest movie purchase will not download to my ipod. I have sent the problem to Itumes and if there is answer i havent received it. Appreciate any advice

You may need to download a lower resolution version of the movie in order for it to sync to your iPod.

Anyway the issue is I have iTunes and just updated it to the latest. I also have various Apple devices however my iPhone won't sync with iTunes. Shift icon in the top right corner of screen? Help please

Hey everybody, I have a question here. I've been getting a random problem on my curve 9310, and was wondering if anyone else had the problem or knows how to fix it. In the top right corner of my screen there's an icon, and it looks like its the shift/caps key icon, just aA^ (up arrow). The touchpad works, and I can scroll around, but the touchpad button or the enter button to open an application does not work, nor do any of the other keys. If I pull the battery and restart the phone, its still been doing that, and if I don't touch it and the screen fades to black, when I touch the buttons, its like the phone is off. I had this problem earlier in the week and it fixed itself, but its been doing it again. Any ideas on whats causing this, or how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This icon in the top right corner you are seeing indicates that the caps lock has been enabled. If you press the shift button again, this should remove the icon from the top of the screen.

Launch Contacts, then on the "Window" menu select "Zoom". That should maximise the window and give you access to the bottom-right corner where you can resize it, and the bar at the top which you can drag around.

Hello everyone! First post on the forums here. I was wondering a little something about my BB. I have an 8330 by Sprint and I am connected to BES through my job. I have a little icon up in the top right of my screen that is kind of boggling my mind! The icon is actually just beneath my signal strength and it looks like a miniature sized Browser icon with a number 1 beside it. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? It's the icon indicating that you have a "saved search" at some point in time you opened your browser and saved the page while it was loading..if you go into your messages list you should see it there, giving you the option to delete it and then the icon will disappear.

That icon indicates your iPhone is rotation locked.
To remove it, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open Control Center. Tap the similar looking icon there to turn it off.

This situation does sound very frustrating. I know that you have tried some great troubleshooting steps already and the issue remains unresolved. Have you forced the Mail application to close and then opened it back fresh? If not, this is the next troubleshooting step I would suggest. Please let me know if the issue remains unresolved.
