You installed the ClickToFlash or ClickToPlugin Safari Extension. It's one of the few such things that is actually beneficial. It intercepts Flash Player or other plugins before they load so that you can control them.

Most Flash content consists of intrusive advertisements that you probably do not want. ClickToFlash prevents them from loading and slowing down your browser, burdening your Mac's resources, and draining its battery. In many cases those advertisements will just annoy you with popups that often fraudulently proclaim your Mac to be infected with some ick, offering the "cure". Many people fall victim to those scams. Don't be one of them.
ClickToFlash allows you to create a whitelist to allow Flash Player to load for sites that you specify such as YouTube - read the above link for instructions. Otherwise, ClickToFlash will block Flash content by default. Click the grey box to allow the content to load.
Go to the Safari menu > Preferences > Extensions. If you don't want ClickToFlash, simply click the Uninstall button and it will be gone.
While you're there look for other Extensions that may be present. If you see any that you do not recognize or do not want, get rid of them the same way. Toggling the "on/off" switch to "off" disables all Extensions.

Hi, I was working at home with my iPad, everything was going well. It went out battery and after this I am unable to connect to the wifi at home. Before getting out battery no problem, and now it sees the router signal but it is unable to connect to it.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

When i try to watch synced video on my itouch i get "the requested url cannot be found on this server". I am able to watch the video on my pc in itunes. however, i cannot watch it on my itouch.

This is happening to me too. I am having a similar problem. Running Xp.
Latest revision of firefox.
After using firefox for a while if I exit, parent.lock is locked and i have to reboot to reload firefox.
I have killed all firefox applications from task manager (usually there are none). and I have tried 3 different "file unlock" programs including unlocker to no avail.
I also recently installed a program that shows -all- open files, and parent.lock is not listed, and thus not closable/unlockable from there.

When I copy and paste from one source material to another within adobe reader, all the words are in one sentence. I have to take extra time to separate the words using the space bar. Can this be fix?

Thanks for your reply. This video was recorded by my own professional camera, Sony PMW EX 3, two years back. But I am neither a professional cameraman nor an editor. I am just like a beginner in both. I didnt have space in my storage device, so I just copied all my clips, thinking I can edit it latter, without recompressing or editing or whatever I should have done it at that point of time. Now I need to edit it and use it in my profession. I am very upset. Please help me in going step by step to get it in FCP X for editing. Also I would like to know, do I need to buy the Compressor 4 for any reason. I dont mind in buying, if you think it is going to be useful for some reason. Make sure that you installed the current version of flash player. If you click on the mentioned "flash", you should be directed to adobe's website, where you can download the current version of flash player. After downloading it, make sure to install it as well. This should solve the issue with your photobucket.

See my reply to a later simplified version of your question. I don't think that either iPhone or iPad recognize RAW files such as NEFs. And the iPhone is not designed to be a mass storage device like a portable flash or portabel hard drive for temporary storage of files, if that's what you're after. As I mentioned in my previous reply, I have an iPad and have been experimenting with it as a tool for photography, hoping that it would be a nice travel tool for backing up and viewing photos from my Nikon dslr. But both the iPad and iPhone just are not set up to do that well. Both show photos nicely, but organization of photos is very frustrating since you can't create albums on the iPhone or iPad, but only back on your sync computer. (There is one very powerful photo organization app called SortShots, but you import photos to it and it organizes and stores the images wtihin the app not using the native photo app. It doesn't work with NEFs either.) I don't know of any RAW processing software for either device.

We aren't Apple, just users like you. Have you tried a reset? Hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

You should be able to turn it off on the iPad by using 'a tap-to-select and then double-tap to activate/type process' and 3 fingered scrolling to go into Settings > General > Accessibility and turn it 'off' (so to use the 'slide to unlock' tap the slider and then double-tap it, and to type your passcode tap a digit and then double-tap it etc), or you can do it by connecting to your computer's iTunes : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4064
