The wrong url
Hi
I have an iPad 2, and I purchased music and videos from iTunes which was great and I was able to enjoy them, recently however my sister wanted to give me soem books for the kindle app on my iPad she had to sync me to her itunes in order to do itm, but I was already synced to my other sisters Itunes account. I bought the movies and music on my Itunes account though so now when I go to watch the movies and listen to the music it tells me that I have the wrong URL in order to have them, so not only are my sisters and I no tech heads but we cant seem to fix the probpem, I hope this makes sense to somebody out there and they can help me fix this problem,
Thanks

"Your Benefits and Payroll Information" links referencing the wrong URL-ESS
Hi Everyone,
At my project we need to change the underlying URL for the following links found under "Your Benefits and Payroll Information" page.
Other Benefits and Discount Programs
Family Status Change Form for Mid-year Benefit Changes
Other Benefits Forms
Contacts for your Daiichi Sankyo Benefits
As per our project requirements, the under lying URL for each of the above links should be some destination within our intranet. We made this change in the SAP backend, however when we go to the Portal and click on one of the links we are routed to a non-existent URL. See the examples below for a clearer picture of our issue...
<b>Example</b>
<i><b>Link in the SAP Backend</b></i>:
https://intranet.cst.com/site/contentEngine/content.cfm?page_content_ID=10
<i><b>Link that appears in the Browser</b></i>:
https://intranet.cst.com/site/contentEngine/content.cfm?sap-ext-sid=UdlIJGAn0j9oUqRvdXQAiw%3D%3DW1T29yaXY6w1Opgh68Tu%2Bg%3D%3D%2Fpcd%3Aportal_content%2Fcom.sap.cst.cst%2Fcom.cst.hr%2Fcom.cst.ess%2Fcom.cst.bpc%2Fcom.cst.roles%2Fcom.sap.pct.erp.ess.employee_self_service%2Fcom.sap.pct.erp.ess.employee_self_service%2Fcom.sap.pct.erp.ess.area_benefits_payment%2Fcom.sap.pct.erp.ess.area_benefits_payment%2Fsap.com%2Fpcui_gp%7Exssutils%2FXssMenuArea%2Fbase&sap-wd-cltwndid=WID1187716517421&sap-accessibility&cm_master_id=7&sap-locale=en&sap-rtl&sap-epcm-guid=E17C87B9D5443FA5D60E8A4091BE470F1F5103DF87581876A294DCD2ACFB6061&page_content_ID=10&sap-wd-renderMode=viewArea&sap-ep-version=7.00.200705080819&sap-wd-tstamp=1187724894684&sap-cssversion=7.0.9.0.0&sap-wd-app-namespace=zzzz&sap-cssurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcst.spcsm.carsenst.com%3A50000%2Firj%2Fportalapps%2Fcom.sap.portal.design.urdesigndata%2Fthemes%2Fportal%2Fsap_tradeshow%2Fur%2Fur_ie6.css%3F7.0.11.0.0&sap-wd-finish-rendering=false
We tried to go around this issue by creating a URL iView and then calling the URL iView from the SAP Backend. So instead of a valid URL we entered the location of the iView (ROLES://...) in the backend. This also, had the same result as before...The URL iView is launched, however the URL iView has the second URL.
Not sure what is causing this...any ideas?
Thanks!
GuyChristopher,
Thanks for your reply! I created a resource with fields Window Properties populated with "_blank" and a URL specified in the URL of Resource Object field. I then create a Service and assigned the Resource to Link Resource and chose "Direct Url launched in separate window" for the Service Type. I then assigned the Service to the a Subarea.
The result was the link did not show up. When I add the URL to "URL of PCD Page" and "Directory Path" in the Resource area the link shows up but does the above with the URL.
Thanks

Popup the wrong URL when testing a webdynpro application
Hi All.
I have coded a simple webdynpro component and created an application in SAPNW7.01ABAPTrial.
when I test the application in SE80 ,the URL in browser is always <http://localhost:8000/sap/public/myssocntl?sap-client=000>,
but the correct URL should be <http://localhost:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zz_00_sflight>.
anybody can help me?
thanks. It is correct that you should get redirected to http://localhost:8000/sap/public/myssocntl?sap-client=000 first. This is the URL that will generate your Single Sign On Ticket. After generation you should be redirected back to your application. I assume from your question that you aren't getting redirected?
In the trial system, the proper service nodes should already be activated - but you can double check as already suggested.
Also try cutting and pasting the URL from the WDA application directly into the browser. You should get the logon screen and then the applciation. This will bypass the SSO ticket generation. This might help troubleshoot where your problem is. -
Hello everyone,
I getting some error messages from my Office Web App server showing that is being accessed trough the wrong URL. I setup the server to be accessed trough HTTPS for internal and external trough
the same public domain. However there is still something making the server being accessed trough the FQN instead trough my public domain name. I also have my public domain name pointing to my Office Web App server on the DNS server. I'm able to open documents
using Office Web on SharePoint without any problem in most of the workstation. However at least one computer is giving me an error when I try to open a document from Office Web App, "run into a problem".

flavioHi,
According to your description, my understanding is that the Office Web Apps cannot render the documents.
The error message is very common, please check the Event Viewer and ULS log to get a detailed error description.
Here is a similar issue link for you to take a look:

KM Reports rendering wrong URL for items!
Hi,
A KM report was created in Content Management->Reports->Resource Statistics and a folder name say Test Folder under root folder was given as the location. It returned a result set. On clicking each item in the result set its displaying a message "404 The requested resource cannot be found". This is because the url of the item was rendered wrongly Eg:Say item A is in Test Folder. It displays the url as http://myserver/irj/go/km/docs/<b>reporting/reports</b>/Test Folder/A instead of http://myserver/irj/go/km/docs/Test Folder/A. This means an extra <b>reporting/reports</b> is added everytime to the resource path and hence the respective items cant be opened on clicked as its opening the wrong URL. Why is this URL generated wrongly? How can this be corrected?
Helpful answers will be rewarded.
Regards,
Pooja.lHi,
This happens for all reports created under Content Management->Reports-> Resource Statistics. The url is rendered wrongly for all items in the result list so that they wont open on clicked. From where is this url generated?
Regards,
Pooja. -

Hi,
I migrated from 10.4.11 awhile back and all was well, but I have just added 3 new mail list to the 10.5.6 server. It is sending out the wrong url in the emails to my moderators. How can I change this? It is sending out domain.com when it should be server.domain.com.
Any help would be most welcome.
Best wishes

BI Role upload from BI-JAVA/Portal creates wrong url in Iview property
Hi Everyobody
here is a tricky one. Our BI DEV is a Systemcopy from the PRD.
When we try to upload Roles from the BI-JAVA/Portal it generates the Iviews Worksets correctly.
The only Problem is that the Iviews property "URL Template" is the one from the Production.
On our DEV System:
I checked the bsp from icf with the correct url
I checked the HTTP URLLOC entry
I checked the RSPOR_T_SETUP
I even checkd the Functionmodule RSBB_URL_PREFIX_GET
I checked the SAP_BW alias /WAS property
All have the correct URL.
Does anyone know where else the wrong url could be located?
Thanks for your help

Old bkmks intact=OK. New bkmks insert w/ always same wrong url?
10/4/2014 I am new, so please excuse any indiscretions. I am running FF 32.0.3 on MS 8.1 laptop. Installed Comcast supplied Norton. Old existing bkmarks work fine. When adding a new bkmark I use the blue star in upper right of screen. When bkmark icon is selected, dropdown menu looks good. In “recently bkmarkd” I select the new entry and see name is OK, but associated URL is always wrong indicating a different URL that I do frequent. If right click on the new entry to see “properties”, name and URL are correct. If I click on the bkmark icon in upper right and select the new entry from the dropdown menu, I am directed to the, always the same, wrong URL. I have deleted FF and reinstalled. I have tried “reset FF”, I have tried Chrome and I.E. both of which work OK saving bkmarks. Please note; Norton worked fine initially, but eventually abended and continues to abend when running full scan. Thanks for your consideration in this matter.

<blockquote>10/4/2014 Thank you Cor-el for your rapid response to my original question. I do believe I downloaded the Places Maintenance add on. But I have no idea as to how to access that add on and run it, if that's what I should do. I did try to restore a backed up HTML bookmark file. This seems to have changed the "wrong" URL that I get to a different wrong URL. Thanks.</blockquote>
You can find the Options/Preferences of the Places Maintenance in "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions"
You can tick all the boxes (Preset: All) to do a full check to see if that helps.
If you still have issues then you need to delete the places.sqlite file(s) including places.sqlite-shm and places.sqlite-wal if present.
You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:

Hello,
When I start my form inside form developer a wrong URL is launched:
http://%%20"http://........"
instead of
http://.....
Where can I correct this setting?
Thanks in advance.
AnnaYou may also need to explicitly set the browser executable in the preferences. You set this in the same screen where you set the Application Server URL.

GP. Notification CO. The parameter sy.workitemurl generates a wrong url
Goog day!
I use a standart notification CO. I need to use "sy.workitemurl" to provide an url to the user. But the generated url is wrong at the part of port: our port is 51100, but it's always generated as 53000! So the url malfunctions... Where can I fix that error?Solved. Changed "http.server.base.url" in VA->Global Configuration -> Server -> caf/eu/gp/model

Deployed Web dynpro application URL has the wrong host name
Hi All,
I have developed a java webdynpro application using NWDS. When I deploy it on a remote server, the host in the URL of the generated application is different from the message server. Also, the URL doesn't display the fully qualified name of the message server. This creates problems when the application is accessed from a different domain.
When I run the deployed application in web dynpro administrator, correct URL is generated.
My questions is
Where does the NWDS get the host and port from. Are there any parameters to be changed on the NWDS/Visual admin or on the Server to pick the exact server and host?
Version:
NWDS 7.0.09
Netweaver 2004s SP15
Thank you,
VasuThanks for your reply.
Hi Siva,
I'm using a remote server. Which hosts file are you referring to? Is it where the NWDS is installed or the on the server?
Pravesh - My problem is not setting the J2ee engine on NWDS. Even when I give the correct message server and port on NWDS, the URL for the application deployed is not picking the server name correctly.
My remote server has 2 SAP instances on it. Is it a problem?
e.g.:
Say my remote server is s07.xyz.com
So I set the Message server as s07.xyz.com and port as abcd
When I deploy the application, sometimes I get the URL as
http://bs307:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/local/RPM_Item2/Charter2?SAPtestId=4
Sometimes - http://s08:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/local/RPM_Item2/Charter2?SAPtestId=4
But the correct URL should be
http://s07.xyz.com:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/local/RPM_Item2/Charter2?SAPtestId=4
But all three work. When I run the application from webdynpro administrator, the URL is correct.
Thank you,
Vasu

Podcast is having issues since I changed the feed url
Ever since I changed the feed url for my podcast in itunes I have problems with the feed not working properly.
http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=157571623
When I try to download random files or episodes in this podcast it wont download in itunes. I get an error code (-50) saying it could be a network problem. But if I go to the direct feed url which is this in safari browser. I can click on the mp3 link and it plays just fine. Then after doing that I can go back into itunes and click "get" on the exact same file that wasnt downloading earlier and now it downloads. Very odd. Once that is done all files in itunes download without any problems. I thought it was just something wrong with my itunes. But it only happens for my feed when I subscribe to it. I tried it on my windows system in itunes and having the exact same problem. I called a couple people up and its happeing with them in itunes also. When one of us accesses the feed by way other than itunes it will then work for awhile then go back to not working again. It started happening when I changed the url in itunes to have it point to the feedburner url. Im having the issue right now as a matter of fact. I cant even listen to the preview of each episode. Maybe someone can try the itunes feed and check it out for me. Any ideas?
Its frustrating. Im wondering if I need to just submit a new podcast to itunes.
PS: I posted this in itunes for windows, Im using both mac and windows. Its not specific to either OS.Im pretty sure the problem has been resolve. We own both the .org and the .com extensions of our website. The primary being the .org and a redirect if a user goes to the .com address. I use feeder to create the podcast feeds and it has an autofill feature in it. Somewhere along the line on the enclosures I inputed the .com address instead of .org. Why the redirect works just fine in most feed readers. Apparently itunes doesnt support it. One of the users in the feedburner forum picked up on this. I corrected all the enclosure urls to .org as they should be and everything so far works fine.
