Theme 9 Giving Problem in APEX 3.2

Hi all,
I have used the Theme 9 for my APEX 3.2 Development.
My previous application i have used Theme 3. there i used the below script that is working fine. when i used the same script its not working

But in Theme 3 its working fine its hiding both.
the same i want to make default as my label text should be bold in Theme 3 i have used the below query in shared components --> User interface -- label -- optional

</span></label>In theme 3 its working fine.
Can anyone suggest me what i did wrong??

Date popup problem in APEX 3.1

I have a date picker (DD-MM-YYYY HH24:MI) and after upgrading to APEX 3.1 from APEX 3.0.1 the popup window height is too small.
The end user is having to resize the window to click on the OK button.
Is there a file I can edit to increase the height, couldnt find it in templates/themes.

I'll let Carl investigate and provide an official response and recommendation. Although I know where this problem is occurring.
The size of the popup calendar window is hard-wired in the file apex/images/javascript/apex_3_1.js. In APEX 3.0, the size of the popup window was determined programatically at runtime and was a function of the date format, if it included a time component or not.
The uncompressed, readable version of this same file is in apex/images/javascript/uncompressed/apex_3_1.js. Look for p_DatePicker and you'll see what I'm talking about. You'll see the height is hard-wired to 210 and width to 258. In APEX 3.0, the height was set to 255 if the date format contained a time component.
So my suggestion, until Carl provides an official response, is to look for '210' in apex/images/javascript/apex_3_1.js and change this to 255. Granted, all calendar popup windows will be this big, but it won't put as great a burden on the end-user.

Upgraded from 4.1 -> 4.2.
Change theme from slightly modified Green theme (in mine case 101 is number and original was 11, One level Tabs) to Theme 25 Blue Responsive.
Login page for instance doesn have "Login Region" for instance (not in LOV). And all pages are softly said strange.
All have DISPLAY problem described on "http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GzseTk6Lpes/UHvJkg9GulI/AAAAAAAAHRQ/Wt406GGZADQ/s640/Screen+Shot+2012-10-15+at+10.25.29.png", but without many parts that Dmitri describe.

Problem with Apex: wwv_flow.accept

Hello!
I've developped an application which worked perfect since nearly one year. Now - suddenly - when changing data in an tabular form and pressing the submit button this page appears:
<h1>Not found</h1>
The requested URL /apex/wwv_flow.accept was not found on this server
<br>
From time to time it seems to work again, but then - after changing some data again... it appears again. Turning Debugging on has no effect. Do someone know or give me some advice what went wrong? Thank you Johann Message was edited by: horvatj

If you believe it or not, I solved without any logfile...
The problem was some kind of corrupt data.
After correcting this everything works fine again. I really don't know why this not found error occurs, but ;-)

No, you can't do what you want. Apple will only ship a US iPhone to a verified billing/shipping address in the US.

SHARED MEMORY AND DATABASE MEMORY giving problem.

I am facing problem with EXPORT MEMORY and IMPORT MEMORY.
I have developed one program which will EXPORT the internal table and some variables to the memory.This program will call another program via background job. IMPORT memory used in another program to get the first program data.
This IMPORT command is working perfect in foreground. But it is not working in background.
So, I have reviewed couple of forums and I tried both SHARED MEMORY AND DATABASE MEMORY. But no use. Still background is giving problem.
When I remove VIA JOB parameter in the SUBMIT statement it is working. But i need to execute this program in background via background job. Please help me . what should I do?
pls find the below code of mine.

       TO DATABASE indx(Z1)
            FROM   w_indx
            CLIENT sy-mandt

Hi.
You can not exchange data between your programs using ABAP memory, because this memory is shared between objects within the same internal session.
When you call your report using VIA JOB, a new session is created.
Instead of using EXPORT and IMPORT to memory, put both programs into the same Function Group, and use global data objects of the _TOP include to exchange data.
Another option, is to use SPA/GPA parameters (SET PARAMETER ID / GET PARAMETER ID), because SAP memory it is available between all open sessions. Of course, it depends on wich type of data you want to export.

Theme 24 Not Available in Apex 4

Hi,
Few months ago I had installed oracle 10g XE and apex 4 in my location machine and developed a application in this instance.
Today I installed oracle 11g XE and Apex 4 in server to move all the applications to server. But I am not able to see theme 24 in this installation.
Application which developed in theme24 is not getting supported and its not working need apex experts suggestion how to get theme 24 cloud.
I tried downloading and installing summer cloud them from apex.plugin.com but still this is not working. Need some suggestion to get this them on my new server.

In my local machine version shows Application Express 4.1.1.00.23, Which have theme 24New Installation which i made on server shows Application Express 4.1.0.00.32, Which does not have them 24

As per the Release Notes this theme was introduced in 4.1, there is no specific reference to minor release so I would have thought it would be in 4.1.0.x.
I have not tried this, but you could try exporting the theme from your 4.1.1.00.23 and import it into 4.1.0.00.32. If that works then you will also need to copy the theme24 folder under /i/themes across.
Patch for Apex 4.1.0 to 4.1.1 upgrade is available on support.oracle.com, if you have access to it. Else, remove existing 4.1.0.x and install 4.1.1.x.

Fullname giving problem

I am getting problem while setting the fullname attribute of the user while creating and assigning the resources [AD,Domino,LDAP]. i am using PeopleSoftActiveSync Resource, which is our Authoritative source. whenever a new entry comes to PeopleSoft, i have to create an Account in IDM and to all the resources. I am using Process Rule to call the create WorkFlow from where i am calling different Sub Process for creating resources. but some of the resources are giving problem and the error which i am getting using "WF_ACTION_ERROR" says "Missing required Attribute Fullname".
Eventhough i am setting fullname attribute while creating the IDM account. But the resources are assigned properly.
Please help me.....

Two years ago I had the very same problem when I added a new field to an already existing and filled customer table. I debugged the maintenance view and saw that the new field contained an undefined value but not the initial value.
You could try and use the DB utility (<b>SE14</b>) and activate the table again (of course without deleting the table entries).
Alternatively, you could write a simple ABAP to initialize the field value, e.g.:
DATA:
gs_mchb   TYPE mchb,
gt_mchb    TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF mchb.
SELECT * INTO TABLE gt_mchb.
gs_mchb-zvbeln_inquiry = ' '. " space
MODIFY gt_mchb FROM gs_mchb
    TRANSPORTING zvbeln_inquiry
    WHERE ( zvbeln_inquiry ne ' ' ).
UPDATE mchb FROM TABLE gt_mchb.

Turn Wi-Fi off and back on.
Step 2
Restart the router and the computer. Many problems are solved that way.
Step 3
Change the name of the wireless network, if applicable, to eliminate any characters other than letters and digits. You do that on your router via its web page, if it's not an Apple device, or via AirPort Utility, if it is an Apple device.
Step 4
Run the Network Diagnostics assistant.
Step 5
In OS X 10.8.4 or later, run Wireless Diagnostics and fix the issues listed in the Summary, if any.
Step 6
Back up all data before proceeding.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Enter the name of your wireless network in the search box. You should have one or more "AirPort network password" items with that name. Make a note of the name and password, then delete all the items. Quit Keychain Access. Turn Wi-Fi off and then back on. Reconnect to the network.

Problem with Apex hosted SQL Workspace

I am having trouble with using currval on this site in SQL workshop. I have a demo table and have defined a sequence via sql. I successfully insert a sequence_name.nextval but when I try to add a related child record with current value of the sequence I keep getting this:
ORA-08002: sequence ORDERS_ORDER#_SEQ.CURRVAL is not yet defined in this session
I can check on nextval from dual and I can select the currval from dual also but when I try to use the currval in an insert, I get the same error above. Also, sometimes I get the same message even when selecting currval from dual. Seems like a problem with Apex at this hosted site. Or does Apex SQL workshop have issues with currval.

Scott, Can you explain a little more about the difference between a hidden item that is set to display never & the other type of item which I am assuming is "display as text saves state" and display never?
When I viewed the source for both of these I could not see the items in source code.
Also for an item that is passed into a popup I am exposing hidden item's identity is there a different way to pass values... here is my example:
