Theme in WebDynpro java callable object

Hi Experts,
I have created a portal theme and deployed on the server.
Now i want to use this portal theme in my WebDynpro java callable object.
I know how to use themes in WebDynpro application, set the theme in Exit plug of component interface view.
However in WebDynpro java callable object how do i achieve this?
here should i use WebDynproCOInterfaceView to set the desired theme to the callable object ?
or should i set the theme in my Componet's interface view?
i tried in both but its not working, i can still see the default theme.
Am i missing anything here?

Hi,
I thin k u have imported the RFC Model into the Workspace .
Declare the usage of model in the component .
then do model binding between the component controller and the Model Nodes.and finally the model binding with the component Controller and the View .
in the Doinit method of the component Controller ,
create the instance of the model and excecute the model.
and finally invalidate the Response node of the Model.

Appying theme for Webdynpro java application.

I have change the font size and the content area of my WebDynpro java application which is a Standard Business package.
I have already applied the theme in the visual admin,but when I make the changes to the theme it does not reflect on the application part.
Please also let me know which specific theme values are to be changed.

iViews used for application integration have a property called (technical name: LAF_Switch) like Send portal theme. This parameter defines if the portal will send to portal's style sheet definition. If so, the WDJ application will decide on some rules if or not to use the portal theme.
[The SAP Note 1000889|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1000889] explains how a WD application decides whether to apply the portal theme or not. The note also gives you some hints to find out why the portal theme isn't getting applied.

I want to work in Themes for web dynpro java..
My Nwds is installed with service pack 12.
But the problem is, the link which i could get in forums could not be opened, here i want to down load these plugins in order to work in themes.
The 3 plug-ins are: com.sap.ur.previeweditor_1.1.6, com.sap.ur.servlet_1.1.8 and com.sap.ur.themeseditor_1.1.8.

Launch Webdynpro Callable Object in Mobile?

I am able to launch the normal Webdynpro Java application in Blackberry, but want to add it to GP Process using Callable Object, but no idea how can we get the URL for WD - Callable Object?
Is it possible to launch web dynpro Callable Object in Mobile like in blackberry? I am trying to write a program for Approval Process for my project. If any one have done this please let me know what URL we need to use to launch the WD-Java Callable Object in Mobile?

Web Dynpro as Callable object in GP using PDF Forms

Hi All,
I somehow want to integrate a user filling out a pdf form within a Guided Procedure. So far I have created a local web dynpro DC and I want to make it a Web Dynpro Callable Object (GP Interface). The problem is, I want the user to be able to see the PDF form when filling out the form. For example, if they had a role in the portal where they can invoke the Web Dynpro application with the pdf form, then when they click submit on the pdf they invoke the guided procedure...is this possible? This is so, I can use the web dynpro to do some data validation and call some bapis to get info, then submit this all to the GP. Is this achievable? I know how to do most things, I just want to know things like when is the "execute" and "getDescription" methods called? I want my execute( com.sap.caf.eu.gp.co.api.IGPExecutionContext executionContext ) method to call a bapi also. Is that possible? How do I automate a GP process when I click submit on the pdf form?

Refering the above links you'll get a fairly good idea how to integrate Adobe forms in WDP and how to start GP process programitically. My suggestion for your requirement would be if always you need to start the process after the user submits the Adobe form, then consider having the Adobe form as the first step for the process. In that case you don't need to start the process programitically. Whenever the user starts filling up the Adobe form the GP process will start. You can refer <a href="/people/dipankar.saha3/blog/2007/03/02/how-to-present-your-gp-processes-to-the-end-user">this blog</a> on how to start a GP process as an iview link in portal.
Otherwise if based on certain conditions you need to start the process then you can either use the Java API or the web service to start the process from Web Dynpro. You should have the Adobe form embedded in Web Dynpro and on submit event you can check the conditions and start the process if required.

Adobe WebDynpro Callable Object

Hi all
I created Adobe WebDynpro application whihc worked well.
After creating callable object with WebDynpro (GP instance), and when i click complete button which is linked with complete method, following error occoured.
Actually adobe form web dynpro works well independently.
What do you think about that?

WebDynpro Application as callable object in GP?

Hello,
I have created a WebDynpro application in NetWeaver Studio.I have to create a callable object of this application in GP.
This application is available in GP.I create a callable object of it, with an action, block process for this single object.(Since i cant test this callable object).
Once i generate url and acess it, it generates an error in browser saying:
"The page builder required to display this application UI inside the portal environment is not available".
Kindly help me solve this issue.

Thanks a lot for your how to guide.. it's really good!.. I've followed all your steps and I've created my WD DC. Everything works fine, the build is correctly made, but when I deploy the application the following error is getting throw:

Can't add GP Component Interfaces to WebDynpro Callable Object

Hi, I've just installed the IDE for Composition Environment 7.1 SP3 and I'm following the tutorial to create a WebDynpro Callable Object for a Guided Procedures that I'm working for a demo. It seems that there is something wrong with my NWDS, 'cause once I add the the required DCs dependencies to my project for caf/eu/gp/api and caf/eu/gp/api/wd and mark them for Design time, I cant add the to any new component as implemented component interfaces 'cause the list for adding them is empty. I really don't understand why this is happening, 'cause that's the way the tutorial explains it to work. I've already try to reinstall the NWDS, without success. Has any of you face the same problem?

Hi,
You should not create Design Time dependency. It is not required.
Ensure only that you have created a Build Time dependency on the public of "caf/eu/gp/api and caf/eu/gp/api/wd".
After creation of dependency ensure that you have build WD DC.
Check if it works now ?
