Theme20 in Orange color instead of Blue

Hello all,
I have created an application in theme20 which looks so much better in Theme8 (orange & grey). I have switched to theme 8 but now my regions, navigation bars and calendar look funny. Is it possible to change the color scheme from blue to orange in Theme20. If so, what will happen to the blue banner? Can I change it with one of my own? Is it easier to change the color in theme20 or copy the functionality that I like from theme 20 into theme 8. With all these colors I try to avoid painting myself into corner.

Hi,
Changing the colors in an existing theme is a lot of work (I know because I have done it!).
Not only do you need to change the codes in the CSS file but you need to also convert the existing graphic files (used for buttons, bars etc) over to the new colors (one or several of these will be used to draw the banner). The other difficulty is making sure the conversions are done accurately so the shaded bars etc render correctly.
The firebug plugin for Mozilla will make debugging your changes a lot easier.

I recently decided to switch the colors around in Firefox. I work in a pretty dark environment and having dark colored text on white or bright backgrounds is rather difficult on my eyes in the dark.
I switched the background to a dark gray, the text to a light gray and both visited and unvisited links to a light blue. Along with these changes, I unchecked the "allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above" box.
After unchecking the box, I am no longer able to view images on many websites. The images all turn gray - as if Firefox has changed their image into part of the background. When I check the box, I am able to see images fine, however, the websites usually revert back to their bright backgrounds with dark text.
Any help and assistance with this is greatly appreciated!

You can use the NoSquint extension to set font sizes (text/page zoom) and text colors on web pages.

All of a sudden I can't send or receive messages on iPad. Iphone is working fine. It gives me "message failed to send" and is green instead of blue. The only thing I have done differently is turn iCloud on in my iPhone.

cant receive or send messages on my iPad. Keep getting "message failed to send" and it is green instead of blue. This happened after I turned on iCloud on my iPhone. Would that have anything to do with this problem? It's like its not sincing to my phone but I can send & receive emails ok.

iOS 7.1.2, huh? It MAY be having some trouble with the iOS 8.x devices and latest iCloud features. Although it meets the minimum system requirements, it does not meet the recommended ones - System requirements for iCloud - Apple Support
You should try Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support - this is generally the first step in troubleshooting, all devices - for all time
Message Colors
Blue is iMessage (Apple service)
Green is SMS (Carrier service)
What happens when you use your iPad similarly? (what iPad model & iOS version)
As a last resort*, Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings - Apple Support - *this document tells that all your data will be lost but provides steps to back-up (Before section) then restore your data (Restore section #4)

When printing from Illustrator it prints Black instead of Blue

We have had this issue for a while now and cannot grasp it. We have CS6 and Illustrator decides to print whatever it feels like. Printing to a regular PCL driver prints black ink where blue is supposed to go. We also tried changing the print driver to Post Script with the same black ink printing instead of blue. Also in the print options right before releasing the job we changed the use Illustrator colors to use Post script colors and it still does the same thing. We sent the job to a different printer and it prints out alright. Why doesn't it work on our HP Laserjet 3800dn? All other documents not created in Adobe products will print out blue just fine. I want to know what is broken in Adobe Illustrator.

Ask in teh AI forum and provide more details like system specs, exact print settings, color management and so on.

lets say ORANGE.
its red value = 16448250
its green value = 29535
its blue value = 16711680
is there a way to know what ORANGE and its red/blue/green value?
i guess to do something like this?

No matter what you send a normal text or iMessage the color of the "text" will remain black,but if you send a iMessage,the color of the message bubble will be blue and if you send a normal text message the color of the message bubble will be green.

You are sending SMS messages. iMessages are blue. Go to Settings>>Messages>>iMessage ON.

I also know the sequnce is alt t, alt o, alt c, alt a, then ok, ok. Got to be a way to make a one key short cut for this. I use a black background to reduce eye strain, but about 10% of the webpage I go to can't be send with black so I have to go into tools and hit 6 or 7 things to chnage it then after through with webpage have to do it all over at Not allow webpages to have own color. Very very cumbersome.

Unable to get imessage working, comes up green instead of blue

I'm uable to get imessage working, text comes up green instead of blue. I have my setting, message, imessage turned on. What am I doing wrong?

I am using an iPhone 4 with iOS 5.1, but other users with 3GS, 4S, and even iTouch devices replied that it worked.

Eyedropper Tool sets Background color instead of Foreground

Q: Why does the Eyedropper Tool set the Background color instead of the Foreground color when I click in my image?
A: The reason for this is that the Background swatch is "targeted" to accept the color information passed on by the Eyedropper Tool when you use it to sample a color. You can reset the behavior by clicking on the Foreground swatch in your Colors Palette/Panel. See the image below:

No matter which swatch is targeted, you can choose to temporarily sample color into the other swatch by holding down the Option key (ALT on Windows) while you sample with the Eyedropper Tool.
If you'd like to have the current Foreground and Background colors (as displayed in your Toolbox) switch places, simply tap the 'X' key on your keyboard.
Finally, to reset the Foreground and Background swatches to their default of black and white, simply tap the 'D' key.

Click on Windows and color. There is a setting there to change from
foreground to background. The one with the box around it is the default setting.

iPads only support iMessage. You cannot send SMS with any of the native iOS functionality on it. There may be some apps in the app store that will, and certainly several messaging platforms (but read the descriptions carefully).
