When I google something via safari I get the google options but my screen is gray and I cannot click
on anything or scroll. I have turned it on and off several times.

Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (and Clear History)
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I am assuming the phone was working prior to you installing IOS 6? Did you use itunes to install IOS 6 or just run from the phone?
When I tried to do the Over The Air update to IOS6 on my iPhone 4, it errored out and I had to connect it to iTunes and select "Restore" from the summary screen after iTunes finds the phone is connected. If this works for you, it will go through a couple of reboots that take a few minutes to complete. It should then give you the option to start with a fresh new phone or to use one of your previous backups to load your contacts and other information, provided you have backed up the phone previously.

Today I was doing my chemistry homework when all of a sudden my mid 2011 MacBook pro running Lion 10.7.4 started going very very VERY slowly to a point where it was unusable. but I suspect your going to first have to create a data recovery drive
Create a data recovery, undelete boot drive
to get your data off the machine,
then do a #20 to eliminate the bad sectors as that's why your getting the "pinwheel" it's getting a delay reading from the drive, right when your trying to log in too, what a bad spot for it to happen.

PlayBook lags and then the screen goes black and does not respond

As the Subject line summarizes, my tablet was working like charm since the date of purchase, back then in April last year. However, on these days it has been performing weird. It has always been fast and smooth, but since last week it has been lagging and not no responsive to the touch.
To tell you gusy fast and clear, it boots up as normal, fast and smooth, apps open and close as usual. Then it starts to lag, and freezes for one second, responds and freezes again but this time will not respond again and finally the screen goes black and stucks there until I make a hard reset and it reboots normally, until it does it again, and again.
Relevant information:
16GB model, 1.5GB free storage available, sideloaded a few android apps today, recorded a few videos
the device manager software on the pc makes no difference, as the PB will anyway freeze and go all black even if it's backing up or something.

Make sure any important data is backed up preferably by drag and drop to a pc.
When it is working properly, try gently squeezing the playbook between finger and tbumb around the black bezel border. Especially either side of the lower sockets. If it goes black it's probably a bad battery or screen contact.

I have tried restarting the PMU. And I have tried unplugging the ac adaptor and removing the battery. From there I have plugged only the ac adaptor in, and it will begin to start but do the same thing once it shows the blue screen.
I tried only using the battery (without plugging in the ac adaptor) and the same thing happens. I tried starting the computer while holding down CTRL, Option, P, and R, waiting to hear the start up chimes 3 times, and then holding Shift as it starts up. But I still get the black screen once I see the blue one, and the computer's sleep light pulses.
I need something very important from this computer. And was able to start it last night. I did not shut down the computer, and was going to take it to a friends to use his printer today. The computer was in sleep mode in the morning.

What your describing could be a logic board or memory issue.
You did or did not hear 3 startup chimes? If you hear 3 chimes when you start it, that would indicate a memory problem. Try reseating the memory to see if that makes a difference. If you have 2 RAM cards, try one then the other in each slot. If you have 1 RAM card, move it to the other slot. Powerbooks can develop one bad slot.
You may need to pull the hard drive out of the Powerbook, put it into an external case, then read it from another mac.

You can try disabling emoticons and image previews in your IM appearance settings in your Skype options to see if that changes anything. Some people running Windows XP have had odd graphical and resource issues with versions of Skype above 7.5. The alternative solution would be to downgrade to Skype 7.5 for the time being. I bought my iPod off of amazon just around the end of January of this year (2012). Last night I was playing around on my iPod. Listening to pandora, and editing pictures. I got to a picture and clicked edit, and then my iPod shut off. It rebooted itself and seemed to be running as if nothing had happened. I put my music back on and went back to the picture and tried to edit it again. I clicked the edit button and the ipod shut off again. This time, it kept rebooting. It went to the apple symbol to turn on and about thirty seconds, the time it normally takes to turn on, the whole screen went white and then shut off and tried rebooting again. It kept doing this over and over again. After a while, it did eventually stop, but only to a completely white screen. It was like that all night long because I fell asleep. (gave up on it). It is now the afternoon and after I held the lock button and the home button down the screen when off. I let it sit for about a half an hour, then I tried turning it on again. But it still is doing the same thing. I have no idea what I could have done to make it do this. Unfortunalty, I am not home to connect it to my own iTunes, but regaurdless, it wont even connect to the computer. I did have my ipod plugged in the whole time it was rebooting and shutting off last night. It was connected to my wall jack which normally works fine. But even having it plugged into the computer as it is now, its still doing the same thing. I am dissapointed that I might end up loosing everything that I have on it. I have not been able to sync it to my computer to save all the apps and pictures and music I have stored on it. I really do hope I can get some help or advice!

My iPad, 3rd, starts to flicker and then the screen goes grey and then locks up. I had the unit to repair last week and its doing it again.

The screen flickers and in a couple of minutes goes grey. Sometimes I can see the background icons. I had the unit to service and was told nothing was wrong. Once the screen starts to go grey, the unit does not respond. The software is up to date and the unit is charged.

Apparently you DO have a hardware problem, but you'll need to be able to show the repair technician the screen while it is acting up if he is to diagnose and repair it.

HT3180 I have restarted using the remote and unplugging waiting thirty seconds. The unit comes on shows the turning circle then the screen goes blank and the light remains on.

After updating to iOS 8.0.2 my iPhone is stuck in a loop of showing me the loading apple logo for about a minute, then the screen goes blue and the process starts over.

MacBook screen goes gray and won't wake up from sleep - 10.6.2

We have a MacBook Alum running 10.6.2 with 4gb ram.
We recently upgraded to 10.6.2 from Leopard and this issue started to happen.
It seems that as the MacBook goes to sleep or goes to the screensaver mode, the screen goes gray and won't wake up from sleep or screensaver mode without a hard reboot.
Is Apple aware of this issue? It did not happen with the previous version of Leopard. This issue arrived when we upgraded to Snow Leopard. Other than the sleep issue, SL is rock solid. Kudos to Apple for producing a great OS!

Have you contacted AppleCare via telephone to make them aware of this issue? It definitely doesn't sound like normal behavior. What sort of troubleshooting have you done so far on the issue? What sort of settings do you have on your screen saver? Password protected? Custom iPhoto slideshow?
What if you manually sleep the machine by closing the lid or engaging it via software (via the Apple menu) does the screen have the issue in both scenarios?

I couldnt get to the hard drive/ desktop. Soft login not even working. So i could not do any of that.
In the end i took it to Apple and its actually the hard drive on its way out. A common issue with that series of Mac. Funny seeing i dont use this mac much. However being 2.5 years old and out of warrently, Apple have recognise this issue with this series/ Model and installing a new hard drive at no cost.
Very luck and greatful. And not feeling so dumb that it was something i did or could troubleshoot myself.
