There are 26 songs on my iphone that no matter what I do will not delete or play, they play on my computer but on my phone they wont go away, i tried swiping to delete them and unchecking them but they are still there. Any advice?

They are not on the iphone in the first place. It is just a setting that allows you to see the songs that are available in icloud, but not on your iphone. If you turn the setting to off, then you no longer see the songs that are in icloud, but NOT on your iphone.

Me and the rest of my family share an Apple ID account. I have automatic music downloads and "show all music" turned off, because I dont want their music and stupid apps. The other day I went on the itunes Purchases section on my phone because I was curious as to what my sister was listening to. I saw my brother had downloaded Hot for Teacher by Van Halen, which was weird because I had that song already. I listened to from the itunes app to see if it was different somehow and it wasnt.
Then a few days later I was looking through my music and saw that I had two copies of that song. The album cover of his version was different, so I went to delete it.
AND I COULDNT.
i tried to slide the song to delete it as I had done to many of my songs, but it didnt respond to the slide. I NEVER EVEN DOWNLOADED THE SONG. I just listened to it once. Now that song and all of my sisters songs i listened to are on my phone and I CANT DELETE THEM.
I thought "okay, these songs arent on my laptop, so Ill just sync my iphone and theyll be gone."
NOPE.
itunes didnt even acknowledge that these songs existed on my phone. My computer cant interact with them at all. It was only like 7 songs so I didnt really care. but wait, the story gets better.
Im a big pokemon fan. I recently downloaded the Pokemon X and Y soundtrack they released, which if you dont know, if OVER 200 TRACKS. I also downloaded another soundtrack that was ANOTHER 100.
My brother had the "show all music" option on, so he saw all these 300+ songs in his music, with little cloud download symbols next to them. I messaged him and told him to turn show all music off so that he wouldnt accidentally download them. he did that. But hes a pokemon fan too, though not as big as me, so he wanted to have a few of the songs.
He downloaded 2 or 3 of the songs off of itunes purchases section on his iphone, and for some reason IT DOWNLOADED THE WHOLE OF BOTH ALBUMS. So my brother suddenly had 300+ songs on his phone that he did not want, and COUND NOT delete.
I could not figure out how to get them off no matter what I did, and in the end, he had to choose the "erase all music" option from settings to clear his phone and then sync it again. He hasnt synced his phone in a while, so He ended up losing a bunch of songs he actually wanted.
Now my mother has all these songs on her phone with the same scenario. there has to be some way to delete these songs without deleting every **** song on the phone. and there has to be some way to listen to songs on the could without having to permanently burn them onto my phones memory. please someone help me out here.why you don't sync with itunes (on mac or pc) with deleting all at first? turn off syncing music, apply, then turn it on again

I need help! I no longer have access to the email that I opened my icloud account with many years ago and I can't remember my password anyway! However it continues to backup all my stuff. But I have no access to go in and delete items or manage my account. The pop-ups now tell me that my account is full and it will no longer be able to backup items. I would like to go in and delete items that I do not need to make room, but I can't! I have personally gone into the Apple genius store and presented the problem as well as called Apple support and talked with a live person. And no one has been able to help me. I cannot believe that I have basically lost my iCloud accessibility? I have a lot of money vested in music and priceless pictures! Please can someone help me?
I don't know what you mean by "closed" - icloud accounts stay in existence even if you disconnect all devices from the account. You can't delete them.
If you don't recall the ID or the password, and if the link above doesn't provide another way to get to the account, then you are out of luck. -
I just downloaded IOS 8 on my Iphone 5 and to do so i had to delete all my photos to clear space, but before so I selected all of them and copied them. The only place I can seem to be able to paste and see them is while making a new message in gmail and then when i tried to send them the message comes back blank and looks like below. what can i do to retrieve them?
<Edited by Host>As razmee209 said, you can use iTunes to install photos on your phone from wherever you have them stored. Where did you copy them to? Are you saying you selected them on you phone and just hit "copy"? That would only copy one at a time to the "clipboard" so that you can paste it somewhere else. As you copy each one, the previous one is deleted from the clipboard. This is not a storage area. Did you back them up on your computer or in iCloud?

How do I select multiple songs and uncheck them from compilations (itunes 10.5.2)
So I found to my annoinance that itunes has recently moved much of my music to compilations that shouldn't be there. I tried searching online for how to turn compilations off or select multiple songs and uncheck them from compilations all at once and although I found both answers, they must have only worked for older versions of itunes. I no longer can find the option to turn off compilations under preferences and when I try to select multiple songs at a time then press "Get Info" the "part of a compilation" checkmark is not there. It is only there when one song is highlighted. This is very frustrated. In fact I would venture to say I've never been so angry with Apple. There are 609 songs "stuck" in my freaking compilations! I don't have time nor should I have to take the time to go through every single song right clicking it, pressing "Get info", unchecking "part of compilation" then clicking ok. WAY TOO MUCH TIME! If anyone has any good news on a faster way to do this I'd be VERY THANKFUL!
This was a life saver! I even started to manually tick the box as well!

Is there a way of aligning the images in iweb photoalbums other than have them be a square?I have them at same height and resolution but htere is a default that shrinks them and aligns them at the bottom.Thanks.
So how did you do it?
by understand what iweb widgets do, in this case setting gridEntry widget's scalMode preference from fill to fit.
then reset the displayed image, so it fits in the display area even if it's portrait aspect.
however, i found some glitches in gridEntry widget that's quite strange... but all fix-able.
perhaps, iweb experts (whose had poked at my example) here can chime in. -

im sorry to be a bit thick here i didnt know this was happening until i looked through all my photoes i use an sd card to put pictures on lap top and icloud from my phone but in library there are all web pages i have ever been to ie face book ebay etc i didnt know if there was any thing i should be turning off many thanks for ur last answer though

When I attempted to turn on my computer, for some reason it wasn't responding so I turned it off and then back on. My computer then was running fine, but when I brought up lightroom, I was shocked to find that all but 16 of my folders had vanished. Any ideas what happened?--and more importantly, how do I find the files and reincorporate them into LR?

However, my lightroom now only lists three things under "Catalog" and basically only the 16 folders that didn't disappear are there, so I suspect it isn't just the fact that I opened the wrong catalog. My assistant and I are using two Lightrooms (i.e. two serial numbers) and need to share between our two computers. I provide originals to her onto a flash drive. She tags them and returns them to me. I then copy the photos from her flash drive onto my computer and load them in my LR. The photos appear but witthout any editing or tagging. We need to be able to have her working on the photos on her computer with her copy of LR and me on my computer with my version of LR being able to access what is already tagged and given back to me. This seems hard. We need advice on if it is at all possible to have two computers simultaneously working on LR . I bought her her own version because I was told at the time of purchasing that that was the only way to share. Please advise urgently! Thanks.
Sounds like your assistant isn't instructing Lightroom to write the tagging and editing to the files themselves, so wehn the files return to you, they don't have editing and tagging information. She need to select the photos in Lightroom and then Ctrl-S (Cmd-S on Mac). Or alternatively turn on the option to autmoatically write this information to the files.
If you are using RAW photos, then this information will be written to a sidecar XMP file, and your assistant must provide you with the sidecar file. If these photos are not RAW photos, then the information is written directly into the photo file itself.
Lightroom wasn't designed to be a multi-user program, and so it is truly not possible to have two people working on the same catalog at once. The way you are doing things, as modified above, is probably the way to go.
As an alternative, you can transfer (portions of) catalogs as well as photos back and forth and then all of these issues disappear, but a catalog might be rather large for a flash drive (or maybe not, it depends) -
