alright so i would love to make a ringtone but so far there is not one dam bell i bought songs i looked all over the store just for one i live in canada i just dont get it someone said it doesnt work for canada yet?

I don't believe the iTunes Canada Store has ringtones available yet.
It took several months at least after the first generation iPhone was released for Apple to work out licensing with those that own the distribution rights for iTunes content with the U.S. iTunes store.
I don't believe this is available in Europe yet either.
You can create your own ringtones with non-DRM protected music.

On my iPhone 5 (since activating with iTunes Match), I CAN NOT see all my music. There are artists that I can not see, nor their songs. BUT I can see them on the iPad3 and on iTunes on my PC.

There are no ebooks from ibooks in itunes

i have my ebooks in ibooks mavericks organized. but when i will sync my ipad with the macbook, there are no books in itunes.

They are no longer shown in the sidebar under books. However, at the top of the device panel (connect your iPad to the Mac, the click on the iPad in the sidebar) there will be the tabs for Music, Info, Apps etc. One of them will be Books. Click on this tab. There you will find all of the books which can be synced to you iPad.

ITunes ringtones creation

When I use iTunes (last version) and I try to create a ringtones, an error message appear : "can't connect to iTunes Store" (error 11556)
So iTunes can connect to iTunes Store, because I buy my music on iTunes Store.
How can I solve this problem ?

Unless something's changed in the last couple of days, Apple has not been able to obtain licenses to sell ringtones anywhere but in the US as of yet. There are other ways to create ringtones, though; just search the web for "iPhone ringtones" and you'll find lots of information.

ITunes ringtones disappeared

I have about 3500 songs on my iTunes and of them only about 20 were available for ringtones. Disappointing. But now there are none showing ringtone status. My options have been checked to show ringtones and my computer has been authorized. Any ideas?

There is no file or folder that says "Previous iTunes Library." There are three files named iTunes Library, the two damaged ones and I guess the current one. There is a folder that's named iTunes Music, and the ringtones are in there. Still don't know what to do!

I assume that this means items that haven't been transferred from the iPad into iTunes.
Connect the iPad to your PC and launch iTunes. Right click on the iPad name on the left side under "Devices" and select Transfer Purchases from the pop up window. Then sync one more time. Then after that, right click on the iPad name again and select - Backup. After that process completes then you should be OK.

ITunes - App Store - There are updates available that ain't available?

First of all, I'm starting to think that the iPhone ***** big time, but that's a whole other story...
So, here's my issue: Apparently there are updates to my applications available. So says iTunes and also the App Store app on the iPhone, both of them reporting the same number of apps available.
I'm quite sure that there was a button to "update all" on the iPhone on 2.0.1 and 2.0, but that seems to be missing? (but not the point anyway)
Then, in iTunes, the applications view tells me that there are updates available. When I click that link on the lower right that usually redirects to the update page, iTunes tells me that there are no updates available for my account?!
How can that be? Either there are or there ain't.
Is there a way to fix that problem? I would have updated the applications trough the iPhone, but as there are many (44) and I would have do update them one-by-one, I'd like to go an easier way...
I'm really patient, but I start to hate my iPhone. As it is now, it is just a ******* expensive piece of junk. :-((

I have fixed a similar issue in my iTunes. Here is my thoughts on why it happened and the fix.
I had recently added a second computer w/ iTunes with which my iPhone is now synching. I wanted to move my music library synching from work to home.
On the 1st PC (@ Work) I was synching:
Info, Contacts
Info, Calendar
Ringtones
Music
Podcasts
Video
Applications
On the 2nd PC (@ Home) I began synching:
Ringtones
Music
Video
Applications (this nicely caused all of my iPhone Applications to be copied to this PC, in case of a need for a restore from home)
After beginning synching on the 2nd PC (@ Home), I disabled synching on 1st PC of:
Ringtones
Music
Video
Applications (This apparently caused the issue)
The issue with phantom updates was showing up on the 1st PC (@ Work), but I was not synching Applications here. Apparently, I had updated some Applications from the 2nd PC (@ Home) and iTunes detected this and saw a need to show that my iTunes Applications needed updating. Something not in synch between iPhone - iTunes - App Store I believe.
The Fix:
On the 1st PC (@ Work) I enabled synching of Applications and then performed a synch. The phantom updates went away. I noted during the synch that my iPhone apparently updated some of the applications in my iTunes library.
I hope this helps or enlightens others having this difficulty.

When I rip a CD to iTunes. All goes well until I click on All Albums. If there are other artists named with the Title Artist they are shown as different albums so I end up with 16 albums containing 1 track instead of 1 Album with 16 tracks. Can I fix this

Had a similar problem with two tracks from a cd being segregated in a separate list, but with the same album title and artwork as the other 19 tracks. I found that by double clicking the artist field next to the album icon you can then edit that info. In your case it sounds as if you might want to erase the artist info altogether. Once you have done that, all the tracks magically group together, as they should have done in the first place. Oh there might be a dialog box first, asking if you really want to do this.

If the songs are still on your ipod, make sure autosync is disabled in iTunes on your computer, connect and right click on it in the device list, then choose "transfer purchases" to copy all bought media and apps from your ipod to your computer.
If the songs are not on your computer and got deleted from your ipod as well, you can't get them back, unless you have a backup of your iTunes library as part of your computer backup.

There are songs on my icloud that I deleted from my itunes, but still show up on icloud. I want to delete them from icloud, but can't since they don't appear in my itunes!

I have a large library on icloud- 26203 songs is the count when I'm playing over my apple TV, but my itunes only shows 25989 songs. When I talk about removing songs from my shuffle play, I'm referring to listening over apple TV. My cloud limit is nearly maxed out, so I am constantly removing/adding songs. That's why I was surprised when I went to delete a song I no longer wanted in the mix and was surprised to find it already deleted from my itunes, but still present in the cloud. I've signed in and out of itunes/and match on apple tv as well, but that didn't remove the tunes in question!

It sounds like your issue here is that iTunes can not find the files for some of the songs you have brought into it. This happens occasionally even if the songs have not been moved from the location that iTunes places them on import or purchase. When you try to use the song, iTunes prompts you to find the file, as you have seen.
To find the file, use the information in this article to navigate through the iTunes media folders -
Locate and organize your iTunes files
If you are still unable to locate the files, you may need to download them from the iTunes store again, or rip them from your CDs. See this article for assistance with downloading your past purchases -

HT1386 when i try to sync, each device i sync to ends up with different amount of information, for instance in iTunes, i have my eric claption collection which has 34 albums. but when i sync to my i phone, there are only 26 albums, same with my touch, on

When I sync my I tune music library to my other devices, none of the other devices end up with the same amount of music. For instance, in my itunes library on my mac, i have 34 complete albums. When I sync to my iphone only 26 albums come over (it is not a memory issue, i have 25 gb of free space on my iphone), on my touch, again syncing with changing anysetting, i only getr 26 albums, but not the same 26 albums that i get with my iphone, again no memory issue. When I sync my ipad mini, my clapton collection tells me I have 48 albums with 340 songs, agin on my mac I only have 34 albums with 421 songs, agan, no setting changed between syncs. on My Ipad tablet, my clapton library shows 340 songs with 57 albums. By the way if I go into my clapton library and count manually how many albums are on my ipad there are only 25.
Tech suppoert has been worthless, they keep haveing me do the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result. Pure insanityl

Are all these songs associated with the same Apple ID or were some purchased on another account?
Are they tagged properly? In the library does it break an album out into several different albums with a few tracks each?
Check your sync settings for each device. Do you accidentally have only certain songs/albums syncing?

Trying to download the new itunes but it tells me there are "No software updates"

I am attempting to download iOs6 for my iphone, and it is prompting me to first download itunes 10.6.3. However, when I click "download itunes" I am brought to the software updates window, and am prompted that there are no new updates for my computer! I have tried to do this from both the apple drop down and itunes. When I attempt to download iOs6 on my phone, I am not connected to a suitable wireless connection (yay college campuses) so I cannot do it that way either. Anyone have a solution for downloading itunes? I have restarted my computer multiple times! Thanks!

It go thru the whole install and bails at the end with this error:
