There are reports that no video cards currently support HDCP!!!

Because of this, I have to delay ordering my Mac Pro. Here is the link: http://www.firingsquad.com/hardware/atinvidia_hdcpsupport/
I am so ****** off. Apple better release a BTO option with a video card that has HDCP. And they also better have to release an Apple Cinema Display with HDCP.

This isn't quite true;
The Intel Core 2 Duo (and Xeon) support HDCP encoding. Specifically, the specs call for the CPU to support HDCP handshake. As long as the Graphics Card is HDCP ready (i.e. allows passthrough), the Intel chip should be able to create the handshake. That WILL take some CPU cycles, no doubt, but is better than nil.
The display, absolutely, needs to be HDCP as the end-of-the-line needs to make the handshake as well; hence, none of the CURRENT Apple Cinema Displays are able to run Blu-Ray or HD-DVD - IF the content in fact is flagged to downgrade resolution without it (to date they haven't been, but it's in the specs).
A new crop of Apple displays MIGHT fix that....
