There are several items I'd like to remove that are on the line at the top of my page that starts with "Most Visited," and I have been unable to find a way to remove them.

At the top of the page, between the address of the page I'm on and the tabs that are open is a line that starts with "Most Visited" and also includes Amazon, aBay, Yahoo, etc., all of which I want to keep. But there are also a number of other links that I don't want but can't find a way to delete. I've looked at suggestions til my eyes bugged out of my head, but nothing I've found allows me to get rid of them. Only one of them is something I saved, but it is no longer usable.

The mouse that came with my Mac does not have a right click feature. When I try to highlight and click, it just opens the link I don't want anymore. What I want to do is remove unwanted links from the top bar. For example, I no longer use GoodSearch or myEarthLink, but I can't delete them. There are also some links that never should have found their way up there, and I don't know how they ended up there, and I can't remove them either. I've read through a ton of questions and answers, and I can't find one that addresses the problem. With my Safari browser, all I have to do to remove an unwanted link is to click and drag it to the trash. It doesn't appear to work that way with Firefox, to my chagrin. I hope this better explains my question. Maybe that will give you a better insight into a solution.

I have a photo with 25 faces. I have named 17 with no problem but the remaining 8 names I am unable to make them stick. I go through the process (have done it thousands of times) and no luck. I have shut down the computer, I have unplugged it, I have turned iPhoto off and nothing will allow me to name these remaining photos. I type in the name and click RETURN and the name holds, I close the photo and bring it back and the name is gone. I have done this dozen of times - still no luck. I have a few other photos of groups and the same thing is happening with just a few of the faces. All the faces are clear, same size and no different in clarity than the other faces. I have tried changing the size of the "box" around the photo to name it - still no luck.
I am on the ground floor so I can not throw the computer out the window.

Im wondering why my post hasn't been answered yet. I did file a report with the BBB and I had a rude representative from Verizon call me named Steve. He said I can file all of the reports I want and I will just keep getting calls from him. I can understand why my phone couldn't be replaced because of the small crack. Luckily I reinstalled the software and the problem just disappeared , and now for all those facing the same problem after reinstalling mountain lion don't update to 10.8.1 , cause only after that update earlier was when the problem started showing up , along with that don't reinstall lion using your recovery on your harddrive it takes 23 hours to install because it downloads the software first and then does all the installation so just download the app for mountain lion from the AppStore first and then make a bootable USB installation disk out of it , I'm sure you'll find a tutorial on google on how to make a recovery USB out of it , as for your data and stuff I moved all my stuff to an external hard drive and then performed a reinstall I recommend you do the same . The steps are simple after making the USB insert it and then reboot when the computer turns itself on press the alt/option key and then their will be a list of options there you will see your mt lion USB boot into it , select disk utility and then your Macintosh HD , WARNING IN THIS STEP YOU WILL ERASE YOUR HARD DRIVE COMPLETELY MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP ALL YOU DATA BEFORE PERFORMING THIS STEP I WON'T BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DATA LOSS DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK, so choose your drive , go to the erase tab choose Mac os extended journaled usually the first option from the drop down menu and name it Macintosh HD again click on erase and then after thats done close the utility , now select the option to install mt lions copy from the first menu and then chose your Macintosh HD that we erased eirlier and install, it takes about 20-40 mins depending on your Mac and then viola the problem will disappear , well at least it did for me . Does Mozilla not publish lifecycle dates for Firefox? The reason I am inquiring further, is that our intention is to have upgraded the product we are currently running by late August of next year. I was trying to determine if 3.6 would be supported through August of 2012. I probably should have been more specific with my initial post.

What you should see on a restart is a black screen followed by a screen with the Apple (at which point you let go of the two buttons). There is no progress bar, just the Apple. The Apple will stay there for 15 seconds or so, then the "Slide to Unlock" screen will redisplay.
But, I don't think the reset will fix it for you. I just tested it, and it comes back on with the zoom still on. The only way to get it to zoom out is the tapping with the 3 fingers.
I said to double-tap....MY BAD! You need to triple-tap with three fingers!
Try that and see if it will display the zoom menu for you, or if it will zoom back out.

DURIM - Okay. I would expect the "Cache Warning" message because your default directories would not be the same as the ones in the settings file I generated.
If you go back to the "7.0" directory and open the "Logs" folder, can you copy the "Audition Log.txt" file and send it as an attachment to [email protected]? We'll take a look in that logfile and see if it gives us more information about why this is failing now.
Also, do you have any other Adobe applications installed on this machine, such as Premiere Pro? If so, do they launch as expected or fail as well?
I do have the trial Pro version of Adobe reader, but I have not activated it, because I fear the same thing will happen did it. I cannot afford to activate the subscription for that product and take the chance of it not working either. I depend on those two programs religiously. Here is the files that you requested. Do you want to create a video DVD that will plan on a TV set via a DVD player or just burn the video files to a data DVD disk for storage?
If the former the read the following:
If iDVD was not preinstalled on your Mac you'll have to obtain it by purchasing a copy of the iLife 09 disk from a 3rd party retailier like Amazon.com: ilife 09: Softwareor eBay.com. Why, because iDVD (and iWeb) was discontinued by Apple over a year ago.
Why iLife 09 instead of 11?
If you have to purchase an iLife disc in order to obtain the iDVD application remember that the iLife 11 disc only provides themes from iDVD 5-7. The Software Update no longer installs the earlier themes when starting from the iLIfe 11 disk nor do any of the iDVD 7 updaters available from the Apple Downloads website contain them.
Currently the only sure fire way to get all themes is to start with the iLife 09 disc:

You then can upgrade from iDVD 7.0.3 to iDVD 7.1.2 via the updaters at the Apple Downloads webpage.
Export the slideshow out of iPhoto as a QT movie file via the Export button in the lower toolbar. Select Size = Medium or Large.
Open iDVD, select a theme and drag the exported QT movie file into the open iDVD window being careful to avoid any drop zones.
Follow this workflow to help assure the best qualty video DVD:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image, launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding is good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
However, there are video DVD authoring apps that are available at the App Store that will create a video DVD disk. They won't be as extensive as iDVD but can create a simple video DVD.
iDVD 7.1.2 is compatible with iDVD but we don't if it will be with the next system generation.
