There has to be a way! Mac and Hotmail?

I have a.mac account and therefore can use ichat but i know only one person who also has a .mac account.
Currently i am using adium and skype, but only two people again use skype.
SO! i would like an option to connect with hotmail contacts (which all of them are) and be able to video chat with them.
I have tried aMSN and Mercury messenger and i hated both of them, they just didnt fit with the mac at all and were really more of a chore to use.
There must be a way!
I have tried the whole jabber thing but to be honest its just too long and winded.
What we need is hotmail support in ichat or a video chat option in msn for mac.

My Ipad2 has photos synced from my main computer on it, taking up vital storage. I cannot remove them at all, and the folks at the Genius Bar can't help either. Apparently there is no way to remove them unless they were originally taken by the Ipad2 camera. And the only way you can get copies of those photos back on to the computer or another device is to individually email EACH photograph.
There has to be a way to remove these pics to free up the storage.
I almost was unable to load the new operating system because of the amount of photos on the iPad,which ended up on the iPad as a mistake in the first place during an early syncing when it was first purchased.
This is a HUGE glitch in the system. If you know otherwise, please advise!

What exactly did your friend do ? Did you or he take a backup of your iTunes library before updating your computer ? Have you checked to see if your music is still on your computer ? By default your iTunes library is stored under :
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\
Windows Vista: \Users\username\Music\iTunes
Windows 7 and Windows 8: \Users\username\My Music\iTunes
If it's there then you can add it to your iTunes library via File > Add To Library.
If not then do you have a copy of your library on a backup ? If you do then use File > Add To Library to add it back.
If you haven't got a backup then you might, depending upon what country that you are in and if the music is still in your country's store, be able to redownload your iTunes purchases via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage.

That means you had already done de-authorization once last Jun26. Please take note that you are only allowed to deauthorize all only once a year. Refer to this article:

New Apple TV to non-HMDI... there has to be a way?!

Ok so my TV is 4 years old it does not have an HDMI or DVI connection on the back. There has to be a way to connect the new Apple TV, right? The TV was build before HD TV was completely defined. It is an "enhanced def" TV. I am pretty sure it supports 720p

And offcourse that I delete my files and documents is not an Iweb problem, but because my English is not that good, that I thougt I try to tell the whole story, and hope people can read trough the lines.
Why I didn't use Iweb to upload to the server is because the server company recommanded to use file zilla. And I am a nobody with this kind of things, so I did exactly what they tell me to do.
No, i did not make a backup of Iweb and the domain file, but reading other messages on this forum showed me that I can maybe try to make empty the cashfile (?)
and otherwise I have bad luck and have to make my website again. Offcourse I have a lot of examples from all the pages (copied from the local map to my USB stick) and my website is aprox. 15 Mb, (not so big) so it will cost me a few nigths.
But I'm still hoping on a miracle :-)

Do you have your CDs that came with your Mac, an upgrade CD, or USB thumb drive (10.7/10.8)? You can reboot the computer while holding down Option, select the restore disc (CD or Thumb drive). Let the computer boot. Go to Utilities>Password Reset, and you can reset your password without loosing any data (to my knowledge).

You're welcome. And CDMA still exists! However, the newer devices for Verizon, from the iPhone 5 and above, come with a GSM slot and it is unlocked from the beginning to use with other GSM networks. If you do not want to return the phone for a refund, Apple has a recycling program, but you don't get much for it. You would be better to sell it outright as I said. Be careful though as you purchase newer phones on the internet, as they could be locked with Activation lock and you would need to contact the original owner to get the device unlocked, and if you read much here, that can be next to impossible to do sometimes, and Apple will not help. so apple has developed isync and the iphone but then doesn't allow them to work together...? I run two macs, one at home and the other at the office. I sometimes work from home so having my addres book and iCal up to date on both systems is essential. I don't always remember to bring my data cable and it causes a mess when I realize that its been left behind.
I gave away my palm treo because of having to use missing sync and figured that the iPhone wouldn't have the same issues. Is there any way around this as I'm already getting tired of this. I use the phone for work and need it to run smoothly and with little thought and that's not happening.
So can anyone help me out with this issue and tell me a way around it? Help would be very welcomed...

I shouldn't have to buy a second cable. It has wireless and my mac has iSync. Make the two work together! Simple as that, if it wasn't because if greed on apples part then it would work fine. I would have easly paid 400 more for a phone that didn't require a contract. But because apple is scared that people might not update the firmware they're forcing to connect via cable. All I can say is "go hackers", put apple in its place.

What you can do is use a sharedObject to save data based on
what the user
has done thus far. Then, the first thing your movie would do
is check the
data in the sharedObject and determine where to go to start.
You could also do something server side with a script that
takes an IP

Has anyone used DETOX MY MAC and can it be trusted

My Mac Mini n now running very slowly, its difficult to open up anything, and starts up really slowly. In general its just a pain. For a week now I can't open my emails in AOL, I can see them but can't open them.
I have thought about DETOX MY MAC but I am worried that I will just be downloading more problems. Has anyone used it and can it be trusted

Don't install such "utilities." They're all scams.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

Okay ...I see that to print the address book you go to Address Book, File, Print address book. BUT there has to be a way to print it on one page instead of 13!

In the Address Book Print Preview mode I changed the R margin to 6 so that I don't have to print the long lines dividing the addresses. I decreased the top & bottom margins to .2 I also changed it to 50% and unchecked headers & footers. Now is there a way that I can copy/paste this to a spreadsheet so that I can put the addresses in columns and not have to waste so many sheets of paper to print it? Is there a way to delete the spaces between rows, even deleting the line between addresses? Is there a way to save the actual list to my comptuer ...not in the csv or txt form ...just a list?

I imagine what I did is fairly common so I hope there is an easy way to resolve this.
Here's what happened.
I preformed a full system recovery on my computer, which formatted my hard drive. The result was a faster computer, but I also lost all my song files. (I didn't back them up). I figured once I attached my ipod all the songs would be transferred back to the my PC. Boy was I in for a surprise as not only did none of the songs transfer, but I lost all the songs on my ipod also.
Is there any way to get them back?

PC Inspector file recovery is an option. You need some file recovery program such as this, and there are others if you care to Google for them. Here's some more info.

The results I've heard about are patchy at best, and these file recovery programs are rarely free.

There has to be a way to find the current directory in JSP, right?

I've read a number of posts, with limited results.
Here's my problem. I have 3 databases set up, and I'd like to use a different one depending on which directory I am in. (ie Stage, Production, Dev). So I am reading the database name from a parameter file.
I am simply trying to read a text file from the same directory as my jsp file. For example, my jsp file is in /home/username/public_html/prod
When I try System.getProperty("user.dir"), it returns /home/username/public_html/.
Is there a way for the jsp page to let me know it is in the prod subdirectory? Verses another subdirectory? Everything I've tried puts me in either the /home/username directory or the home/username/public_html directory. I can't get to any of the subdirectories!!! Please help!
