There is a black box that appears to be displaying my actions and i can't get rid of it. It also takes me back to the top of the screen when i scroll. How to i get rid of it?

Try quitting iTunes and restart your iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
You can also try a reset if quitting the app doesn't work.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Ok I am really a new user of Mac so here is my problem in the bar across the top of my screen when I bring up Safari there is a help box when I go to an answer and click it and the window pops up there is nothing there what happened to the answers? Help

Many iDVD themes have “motion menus” that include animations or video that loop, or play repeatedly, until the viewer clicks a menu button. Themes with motion menus have a motion icon in the lower-right corner.
In addition to background video, iDVD motion menus may also feature an intro, or short animation, that plays once before the part that loops. Other motion menus also include an “outro” that plays after the viewer clicks a button, serving as a transition between the menu and the selected content.
An example of an iDVD 6.0 theme with an intro and an outro is Reflection White Main. In this theme, the first drop zones appear in the intro, and the buttons and title appear just before the looping part of the background video. In the outro, everything flies offscreen after the viewer clicks a button.
iDVD provides tools for viewing these motion menus without going into preview mode, which is especially helpful when you are filling drop zones, and for turning the intro or outro off.
Here are ways to view and edit the background movie:

Drag the diamond-shaped motion playhead along the scrubber bar (shown below), to view the background movie, stopping wherever you like.

NOTE: If you drag your own movie to a motion menu background, the outro is automatically removed. To customize the background and keep the outro, use a still image in the menu background instead of a movie.

I was running firefox earlier and exited. hours later, I try to access it again, and I get a box that says"firefox is already running. in order to open a window, you must close the program or restart your system." There is nothing on my computer to show that it is running, and I have no way to close it, so I have to restart my computer. This has happened too often now.

The download symbol indicates they aren't downloaded to you iPad. If you don't want to see the ones with the download symbol go to Settings>iTunes & App Store and turn Videos off under Show All.

How Do I add or remove any of the top 6 lines at the very top of my screen when I go online with Firefox

At the top of my screen when using Mozilla Foxfire, I have the following lines
Line ! starts with the word File
Line two is the tabs in use, i.e. Google Email and Mozilla Firefox
The next line down (#3( is a line that has an arrow to the left and shows the current web page on which I am working.
Line $ is "Most Visited" sites
Line 6 is ShopAtHome.com
What do we call these 6 lines and how do i add to them or delete them?

Firefox on my wife's laptop has lost the black bar that used to show Maps, Gmail etc. Now at the top of the screen there is a blank bar, triple height, with just the Google search input box. How do I get this back? Or is this a question for Google?

When I open Firefox there is a black bar, sometimes vertical, other times horizontal, across the top, with links to Maps, Gmail etc. When I open Gmail the same links are listed across the top of the screen, right under the Tabs. In my wife's laptop this appears in the Firefox start-up screen, but not in the Gmail screen. At the top of her screen is a super-wide gray bar with just a Google search input box. Is this a Firefox or Google problem?

Under Tools ... Options ... Workspace, there is an option "Display Object Name Tool Tips While Pointing".

When you click on the grey box, a grey cartoon man appears, & a message. It says "This website does not provide identity information. Your connection to this website is not encrypted." Just to expand a little on Sudarshan's reply, and perhaps to inform you as a beginner, I will say that everything you see on the screen in DW's Design view is completely dictated by the underlying HTML and CSS (and perhaps javascript and server scripting). In addition, if that code is somehow made to contain invalid usages, then the effect of that on DW's Design view, and ultimately on the rendering of the page is completely unpredictable but most likely always destructive to the desired layout.
As a result of this, any answers to questions you might pose about layout would always need to begin with an examination of the VALID code. That means you can shortcut what often becomes many tedious steps (as seen in this forum over and over again) by first validating your code with the W3C's validator (http://validator.w3.org) and fixing those errors highlighted that you are able to fix. It is perfectly reasonable to ask here about errors that you don't understand or don't know how to fix.
Once you have your page built with valid code, then we can begin the task of troubleshooting your layout. And again, the best way to do this (and to enhance the likelihood of getting a useful answer) would be to upload your page and its dependent files to some webspace that you control, and include a link to that uploaded page in your post.
