There is a fan problem on the Air!

I have had a MBA since day one and no matter what anybody says I am convinced there is a problem with the fans on this product.
I am sitting in a hotel, doing nothing more than reading emails and surfing the net (no youtube) and the fans are going crazy.
I have tried all sorts of things including all the software I am sure will be suggested here but nothing really works.
My Mac can be quiet for hours and then out of the blue (like now) the fans come on at 6900rpm.
This is buggy and it need to be fixed. I've paid enough for it.

I also find the fans somewhat irritating and unpredictable. One thing I have noticed: the fan reaction is much delayed. You do something that increases cpu load (say watching a web page with heavy flash) for a short time. Then maybe 10 minutes later the fans pick up, and it then takes 10 minutes to cool down again. The fans on my MacBook can also be hyperactive (disclosure: my previous PC laptop did not even have a fan, so I'm spoiled), but the reaction is predictable. If I watch a web page with heavy flash, the fans will kick up, but as soon as I close it, the fans will settle down again.

Doing a restore will more than likely resolve the problem. Plug the phone into iTunes, select your phone under DEVICES, and press Restore. This will restore your phone to factory settings. Now, after the restore is complete, you have two options:
1) Restore from Backup
This will let you restore all of the content you had on your phone but may also restore the other person's notes and their ability to sync notes to your phone.
2) Set Up as New iPhone
Your data will not be restored, but you can always sync content back later as long as it is in iTunes. On the positive side, this would positively remove any setting that would allow someone else's notes to appear on your phone.
You will be presented with these two options after the restore. I recommend restoring from a backup first so you won't lose your data, but if it doesn't solve the problem, proceed to restore as a new phone.

Maybe you should test these things before calling people out, because these settings do function perfectly well.
iCloud is not supported on Snow Leopard or lower, why bother to mention it?
The OP has an iCloud account, and that can not be opened without Lion or Mountain Lion (on a Mac), IOS5 or 6 (on an iPhone/iPad)

The warranty is not international and only available in the Country of purchase .If the iPhone is out of warranty Apple or their Agents will also only give service in the country of original purchase.
So if you want Apple help you will have to return it to Singapore or find a 3rd party to repair it if they can in India as long as it is out of warranty and you understand that Apple would never help with that device in future if it has been opened by a 3rd party

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Do you see any prefs related to that knoxnews.com site on the about:config page if you enter that URL in the Filter?

There's been lots of talk about the iphone5 battery issues. I'm one of those unlucky iphone5 owner who got some problems with the batterie. Some thought it was related to ios6. I can tell you it has nothing to do with it. I was concerned about the product quality because of what I was experiencing but I knew it wasn't something that would get out of Apple's control. They were kind enough to monitor my device and also kind enough to change my phone. Since I got the new one, I can tell you that my battery issue is forever gone. I only lost 25% within a period of 11 hours using it normally. I'm running all features, including LTE,bluetooth, wifi, traffic and so on. It is performing as well as my iphone4. So if you have problems with your phone, go back to Apple Store and they will change your device. I do appreciate Apple!s customer's service and so should you. As for iOS6, I've upgrated my iphone4, ipad and ipod and there's nothing to worry about. It's not draining my batteries any faster than iOS5, not at all.

I recently have been trying to find out why my email won't go online. A window pops up stating The identity of "pop.qwestoffice.net" cannot be verified. The certificate for this server is invalid. You may be connecting to a server that is pretending to be "pop.qwestoffice.net" putting information at risk. It asks to connect anyway? Anyone out there have a clue? I am losing my contacts with my clients.

Has anyone solved the fan problem for the U350 64-bit machines?

I would have returned it, but it's too late to do so. I've seen a lot of posts on this (the fan running all the time), but the fixes seem to concern the 32-bit machines.

[GeForce PCe] Fan problems with the 6600gt

I have been running my 6600 GT's in SLI for about 6 months now and I started to notice problems during game play. I get alot of lines and pixelization when I play most of my games. I decided to pull the cards out and take a look at it and I found that the fan had siezed up and that it had also seperated from the heatsink. That was on the primary, the secondary was fine. So I pulled the bad card out and started using the good card this was 3 days ago. I noticed the same thing as I was playing some battelfield 2 this morning so I pulled the card out and it has done the same thing. I do not overclock. I have 4 case fans including one infront of the video cards on the side window. I think this may be the cause to many of the problems that I hear about on this forum. Also I want to know since my cards both work for just windows and internet stuff can I slap some other kind of fan or cooler on there and they will work jusf fine or am I screwed?

U can but removing the stock hsf will void ur warrenty.
I'ed try RMA first.
Newegg has got a whole bunch to choose from, in case u decide to remove the stock ones.
Do make sure they are compatible with ur vga chip (6600GT PCI-Ex).
