My problem is after i did a restore on my 32gb ipod touch i now get a error on itunes that says "There is a problem with your device,We're sorry the device you connected may be damaged and cannot be activated for service. " Please help
In the ipad discussion forums there apparently is a HUGE problem with people not being able to update to ios 4.3.3, it apparently locks up their devices and they are also getting the error "there is a problem with your device".... some are reporting the same problem with their ipod touch as well... it looks like it's a global issue
The forum is in the ipad section under the title of "There is a problem with your device".
I have dodged a bullet on this one since i have not updated my ipod's or ipad in the last couple of days.... i will hold off syncing to itunes until this issue is fixed... good luck, and spread the word if you can to get apple to listen

is that normalYou can NOT use a non-AT&T SIM in your phone. AT&T will NOT unlock iPhones for any reason.

Not surprised that you took a paragraph from my post to repost the same issue.
It is a hardware/software fault which you'll have to get the iPhone replaced if you're under warranty. -

So basically I can happily see all my movies etc on my TV via Apple TV but they appear to play but with no image. Sound is OK! Then the ATV decides something is wrong, reboots and says "there is a problem with your apple tv ethernet networking" but I am trying to connect over wifi.

DanielYou may have some software corruption or the unit may well be starting to fail.
Hold menu and down arrow for 6 secs to reboot the unit to the diagnostics/service menu from where you can reinstall the original shipping software (some have had issues updating beyond version 1.0 if that's what's on it) but first I'd try to run the diagnostics utility though it often passes this even if there are issues.
Always worth unpowering the AppleTV and letting it rest for a few minutes before restarting - this can sometimes reset thing that a powered reboot won't. -

This is a bummer. I just software-updated my MacPro to the latest version of iTunes, too. Are Apple's servers swamped due to the 3G release or do I really have to take it into the Apple Store?I phoned a manager at a local Apple Store and he suggested trying to get the iPad into restore mode. Holding the "power button" (as I call it, they call it the screen lock button) and the home button reboot the iPad, and iTunes no longer had that "There is a problem with your iPad" screen. I was able to press the restore option in iTunes, and subsequently reinstall the iPad to its "factory setting."
I'm now restoring the iPad 3G from a backup of my iPad Wi-Fi. There was a bit of a delay at the "Waiting for activation" portion of the process, but I'm past that and it's installing a ton of my apps. Hopefully useful for anyone else who gets that error screen. -
