"There is a problem with your Iphone..."
So I purchased my Iphone off trademe last year, it did not come with warranty ect.
About 3 weeks ago I dropped my iphone in water, I put it in rice + silica gels in a sealed zip lock bag for about a week.
It was working fine for about 2 days and it suddenly collapsed;
- it does not charge properly, the battery is always on either 1% or 100% but whenever I pull it out of the charger, it turns off immediately or stays on for about a minute or so and shuts off.
- It charges for a little whenever I plug it into my Mac, but then turns off after 5 min or so of charging and then blinks off and on with the apple logo continuously until I have to plug it into my wall charger.
- It does not function properly unless it is plugged into my wall charger. It works for about 15 min and then turns off, automactically turning back on with the IOS 6 start up screen. Whenever this happens I have to turn it back off and then on for it to return to normal.
- I have restored it once successfully, and it worked perfect, but I forgot to charge it over night and it went all funny again.
So now, I have tried restore it again. I connected my iphone to itunes, and my iphone successfully stayed on throughout the process of restoration. But then as soon as it finished, my iphone was supposed to restart but it started blinking on and off which made me have to connect it back to my wall charger. So now it sometimes works normally whilst connected to the wall charger, but usually it continues to turn off and on with the IOS 6 start up screen. When I slide the 'set up' slide, it comes up with the image of the USB cord and Itunes saying 'Connect to Itunes. And so, I do. But then it comes up with the very annoying message "There is a problem with your Iphone, please go to your nearest apple store...ect." on itunes, but in my iphone it says "Connected to itunes." but I have no idea what to do next? I can't put it into recovery mode because it doesn't charge properly on my mac, so it does not turn back on no matter how long I have charged it for.
I have NO idea what to do! And I need itunes to back up my phone!
Any help is very appreciated!
Does anyone know what I have to do to get my battery working normal again? And what I have to do to get my itunes to "not have a problem with my iphone?
Thank you!

I hate to tell you this, but there is most likely nothing left on the phone to back up. If youdidn't have it backed up already, it's too late now.
As for getting it working again, make an appointment at the genius bar. You'll need to pay for an out of warranty replacement.
That one is almost certainly toast.

My iPhone 5 shows me there is a problem with your iPhone when it activate
I got iphone5 from my chinese friend and it was wraped (in other words its new)
And I cutted my micro SIM from my iphone 4 into nano SIM
But when I try to activate this, the signal is searching... and no service.
Also I tried through itunes to active my iphone and it shows me there is a problem with your iphone.
is it country lock problem or probably my SIM card problem or itself problem..
but when I tried without SIM card it shows me
There is no SIM card installed in the iPhone you are attempting to activate.
Please disconnect and insert a SIM card in the iPhone.
What should I have to do now?
Go to Apple store offline and diagnosis or go to mobile company and get nano SIM or something else...No, it wasn't jailbroken on iOS 5.1.1.

TS3694 "There is a problem with your iPhone." (Restoring/Recovery issues)
So, the other day, I got my iPhone 4 wet (idiot, I know!). After drying it out in a bowl of rice for 24 hours, it seemed to start up just fine and when connected to iTunes, it prompted me to do a full restore to factory settings. I did just that, and after the restore software downloaded and seemed to install onto the iPhone, it began going through the setup process. It let me go through a few screens of setup (language, country, location services etc., before showing the connect to iTunes screen). Then iTunes displayed this message:
"There is a problem with your iPhone. Please visit the Service Answer Center to find answers to all your questions about service options, warranty and other processes in your country. To find your nearest Apple Store, click here."
There are no other options given on neither the phone nor iTunes.
I am out of warranty, have called Apple about replacement options, and was also advised to continue trying to restore. After 3 or 4 times trying to restore, with the same message, I am asking if anyone knows any other tricks before I go and fork out $169.99 for a replacement phone.
Thanks,
MikeHii mikeszalay,
I have exactly same issue, and my screen can show language and country after I restored for like 7 times.
My itunes is showing
"There is a problem with your iPhone. Please visit the Service Answer Center to find answers to all your questions about service options, warranty and other processes in your country. To find your nearest Apple Store, click here."
What did you do after this problem? did you successfully fix the phone? Cause I dont know what to do now, and my phone is also out of warranty : (( It will be a really great help if you could share experience!!
Thank you so much!!! -
i restore my iphone 3gs but after that iTunes show a message there is a problem with your iPhone, help me please
Yes. Talk to whoever replaced the battery. Sounds like they broke something.

I'm stuck on the activation screen. I can only select language and country, then it tells me to connect to itunes. In itunes I get the "there is a problem with your iPhone" message. Also, my iPhone keep "searching" for my carrier (Telenor in Norway), but never finds it.
ThanksNo, it wasn't jailbroken on iOS 5.1.1.

There is a problem with your iphone after restore
there is a problem with your iphone message on itunes after phone restore
One thing you could do is to go into a dfu mode and restore your phone again
This is how u enter into dfu mode
Plug your device into your computer.
Turn off the device.
Hold the Power button for 3 seconds
Hold the Home button without releasing the Power button for 10 seconds
Release the Power Button but keep holding the Home button
Keep holding the Home button until you are alerted by iTunes saying that it has detected a device in Recovery Mode -
My iPhne is 4S, after I downloading the latest OS 5.1 and extracting and verifying, it came to a point on iTunes where it could not at all, activate my iPhone. A message popped up on iTunes saying - "There is a problem with your iPhone"; We're sorry, the iPhone you connected may be damaged and cannot be activated for service. We recommend that you visit your nearest Apple Store for more information. Please kindly suggest me how to do.
Not surprised that you took a paragraph from my post to repost the same issue.
It is a hardware/software fault which you'll have to get the iPhone replaced if you're under warranty. -
Hello, I have an iphone 4 and it has recently come up with the connect to itunes logo. When I connect it to my computer, itunes comes up with there is a problem with your iphone. What should i do? I need help ASAP
See Here > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
You may need to try this More than Once... Be sure to Follow ALL the Steps...
Take your time... Pay particular attention to Steps 3 and 4.
Some users have reported as many as 8 or 9 attempts were necessary before success.
If the issue persists...
Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step...
Be sure to make an appointment first... -

"There is a problem with your iPhone" Help!
Hey there!
So I have a an iPhone 3gs and I recently just got an unlocked iPhone 4 off ebay. I recieved it today and after turning it on, selecting my language and contury, it asked me to connect it to iTunes. That's when I get the message in iTunes: "There is a problem with you iPhone".
I tired restoring it to the newest firware (6.1.3), but afterwards I got the same message again. I tried switiching USB ports, using a different chord, and even connecting it to iTunes with my buddy's computer.
I understand the message says to take it to the apple store, but the phone is suppose to be unlocked, and all Apple will try is to activate it with a carrier (T-Mobile, AT&T, etc.)
Does anyone know a fix to this problem without going to the Apple Store? Thanks!
- Ale47099hi, turn off your iphone
connect it to your computer with itunes on
press and hold power button+cancel button together, (the round one at the bottom together )
Until you see itunes symbol and let it go
then it will come up on your itunes saying that your iphone has been found in restore mode
then you can restore it and make it work again
