You may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. This is my problem that has to originate from the update. So glad that I did not purchase a MacBook! Apple products/apps are appearing to be not different from Windows products.
I have deleted and reinstalled from the device and desktop, resets, etc. When I uninstalled and reinstalled while connected to my desktop, the older version of pages was installed. I was able to see all of my files that were saved to the cloud. I was forced to update again to access any of the saved files. Once updated again, I could no longer open pages. It began, to open and abruptly shut down.

I chose an option which eliminated the word Bookmarks from my start page menu, and of course all of the rest. i wish ti return to the original default, but see no option to do this. currently i see: most visited,getting started and latest headlines, which

Delete and reinstall itunes does not work?

I have tried to delete and install a newer version of Itunes on my Windows XP computer. First of all I cannot delete Bonjour nor Itunes set up and I cannot install a newer version, which I have downloaded. Please help.

When I try to remove Bonjour the following message comes up: The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.
Then the following: The installation resource for this product is not available.
When I try to remove ITunes I get the same first message as for Bonjour and then the following: The path 'C:\Documents and Settings\Marianne Swan\Local Settings\Application Data\Apple\Apple Software Update\iTunes.msi' cannot be found. Verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package 'iTunes.msi in a folder from which you can install the product iTunes.
Another message I get is: an older version of Bonjour cannot be removed, get in touch with your technical person.
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. Merge catalog function process starts and runs but does not complete

I am trying to merge my laptop catalog with my desktop catalog. Both machines are LR5.4 and OSX 10.9.3.
I am following the documented LR process. The merge starts, runs and looks like it completes but the new data (photos and catalog information) does not show up in desktop (merged) catalog.
When I try it again, the dialog box indicates that the new files have been exported (as they are no longer highlighted).
I can not locate any files (by name) on the desktop that have moved from the laptop.
What do I do next?

In the "About Firefox" window, the "Restart to Update" button is always shown, but does not work.

If i press it it will restart Firefox, but will not have updated it. I always have to manually upgrade Firefox, but even then About Firefox screen says Restart to Update

I had this same problem and discovered today that the reason is because I do not often log on as Administrator and it appears Firefox won't update from my non-administrator ID. (I have a separate Administrator account set up on my computer so I don't inadvertently do something terrible.)
When I logged on as Administrator and went to Firefox>Help>About Firefox (for me, 16.0.0.2), it had already started updating itself to 17.whatever. Restart to Update appeared again, and when I clicked it, Firefox updated itself to 18.0.1 and now shows a Check for Updates button, which returns that Firefox is up-to-date.
I hope this helps some of you.

First of all, are you using a Windows Phone (windows phone 7 or 7.5) or a Windows Mobile (6.1, 6.5) phone?
Windows Mobile phones are generally not compatible with macs for USB internet tethering. They do work OK by sharing via Bluetooth or Wifi.

That will be the bookmarks toolbar. To hide it, in the View menu select Toolbars, then click on the "Bookmarks Toolbar" entry to de-select it.

When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas? You haven't identified the version so I can't tell if offering you contact options for Adobe Support will be of use to you. But they will likely be your only hope of getting resolution unless you just happen to be using the wrong number as the serial number.

Adobe flash player downloads but does not work

Hi,
When I download the flash player is says to click on active x and I do and allow and then it downloads and says complete but does not work when I try to watch you tube videos. It says download flash player which I have already done. Please help.

You should see a flash animation if the Flash player was installed properly. That you aren't seeing it means that it hasn't been.
