There is no marketing part number in my macbook pro in the system information application?

I want to register iLife and iWork application after I install them. However, when I try to register the to app they ask me for the MPN and I stell did not located.
I have macbook pro 13 inch 2010 with Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3

Call Apple Customer Relations (800) 767-2775.  Wait for a human to come on the line and ask politely and firmly that you want to be transferred over to the Customer Relations department.  This way you can register over the phone without all the hassle.

You can purchase a Mac customized to your preference from the Apple Online Store. It will be manufactured almost immediately, and can be delivered to you in as little as two or three days, depending on your location. You may also choose from a number of Macs available in the Refurbished and Clearance store.
If you want to purchase a Mac and have it immediately, you are limited to what an Apple Retail Store or reseller has in stock.

  • Hello there. I have a problem with my macbook pro. The built in wifi was broken. Is there anything I can do so I can still use the internet? Thank you.

    Pleas help. Thanks.

There are any number of possibilies... you could have problems with runaway applications, causing your machine to overheat and setting the fans off, you could have bad fan sensors, etc.
Open Activity Monitor (Applications>Utilities) and see if you have any apps that may be hogging the CPU. Call back.

  • Is there a way to restore more than one MacBook Pro at the same time from an image? .

I restore each MacBook Pro one at a time from an Mountain Lion image on a firewire Hard Drive but each MacBook has to be done one at a time. When I re-image the PC's here at work I'm able to Ghost as many laptops I want simultaneously.
    Thank you

They are a few different models of the MacBook Pro ranging from 15.4" i7's to 17" i7's. I would use the same models together though when imaging them just like I do with PC's. For example I would Ghost 5 Lenovo T420 Thinkpads at the same time which all share the same exact specs and config. Looking to do the same with the MBP. I have .dmg image of OSX 10.8.1 on a firewire drive which I'm using. I image all my MBP's with this drive, the only downside is I have to do each MBP one at a time.
    Thanks

  • Marketing Part Number (MPN)- where is it?

I am trying to find the marketing part number on my macbook (OS X v 10.4.11) and i went to the system profiler and it isn't there. I see the serial number, but thats it; no MPN. I do not have the original packaging of my notebook, so this is the only other way I have heard of to find it. Is there another way to find this number? thanks!

This gives the same info. Just go down the line here and match your processor type and speed. It will give the model number.

  • Marketing Parts Number?

A few months ago I purchased Logic Pro 7.2 with the intent to use it on a project I was starting. For various reasons I ended up using my old software, a different program. Now, I'd like to start using Logic. When I tried to register the program I was asked for my Marketing Parts Number, which they say is on the outside of the packaging, near the barcode. I cannot find any such thing on the box. If they mean the label that was on the original shrinkwrap, that was discarded months ago. I still have everything else in the original package and, of course, my key. I can prove I purchased it if that's necessary.
How can I register my software?
    G5   Mac OS X (10.4.6)
    G5   Mac OS X (10.4.6)

THE MARKETING/PART NUMBER, WILL BE ON THE SIDE OF THE PACKAGE THAT LOGIC/PRO CAME IN, THE BLACK-BOX I WOULD CALLED IT, SOME-WHERE ON THE SIDE, A WHITE-STICKER, STARTING WITH THE LETTER M/ FOLLOWED BY A FEW NUMBERS.
THATS THE ONE, HAVE FUN AND WELCOME!!

  • How do you register iLife software that came preloaded on an iMac (I cannot seem to locate the Marketing Part Number) on the DVD?

I just purchased an iMac with iLife and iWork preloaded.
I wanted to register the software, but I cannot seem to locate the Marketing Part Number (MPN).  Help states the MPN is located on the product packaging near the barcode.  I can locate the barcode on the sleeve of the disc, but the MPN does not seem to be there.  Help states it starts with a letter and has the format M#####/#.  I have tried to enter each set of numbers shown, but all are invalid.

You registered it when you registered the computer. Apple software bundled with a Mac can't be registered separately from it; that service is for standalone purchases only.

  • Marketing Part Number

where i find Marketing Part Number ?

The Marketing Part Number is code that Apple Inc. uses to classify all of its items in a unique way[citation needed]. Typical Marketing Part Numbers are M8738LL/A for a 20 GB iPod or M9454LL/A for a Power Macintosh G5. Hardware usually follows the M####LL/A format.

  • How do I find the Marketing Part Number for iLife '11 so I can register the product

I want to register my iLife '11 but I can't find the Marketing Part Number as I only have the disk.  How can I find this number so I can reqister my copy?
    Thanks

You don't need to register iLife.  Registeing iLife would get your just emails from Apple regarding their products.  It's not needed.  Anyway, the iLife 11 boxed disc is now a discontinued and unsupported product.

  • In reviewing the Cisco Licensing Guide, there is a license part number for MPLS on the Nexus 7010. Part Number is N7K-MPLS1K9.

In reviewing the Cisco Licensing Guide, there is a license part number for MPLS on the Nexus 7010.  Part Number is N7K-MPLS1K9.  Is there a corresponding part number for the Nexus 7710?

For the benefit of others, here is what we found. The N7K was hitting the bug CSCtg95381.
    Symptom
Nexus 7000 may punt traffic to CPU; so that the traffic may experience random delay or drop.
Further looking, ARP is learned and FIB adjacency is in FIB adjacency table.
    Conditions
The problem is caused by race condition. Some hosts have not responded to the ARP refresh sent by
N7k which in turn  trigger to delete  ARP entry  due to expiry. As a result   the route delete notification is
sent   to URIB from the process. However there is still traffic coming to   given IP address as a result  the next packet that hit glean resulting   in triggering ARP and  hope ARP is learnt from the host this time.
    Workaround
    (s):
    Clear ip route < host>.
Not  totally explains why it was working for certain client-server  combination but yet the workaround is holding well for end-points when  implemented.
There  would be no host route for the destination server in the adjacency  manager on N7K-01. The only thing thats there is the subnet route  pointing towards the vlan gateway address. Implementing the work-around,  a new /32 route can now be seen in the adjacency manager for the  server.
The bug is fixed in releases starting 5.1(5). Planning to upgrade to 5.2(3a).
    Regards, Rashid.

  • How can i find marketing part number?

how can i find marketing part number?

The marketing part number for the single-user package is MA790Z/A, for the family pack it is MA791Z/A. The only way I've ever been able to find the marketing part number online is to add the item to my cart then edit the cart where it will then show the number & I can remove the item. This is how I just found the single-user number for you. The family pack number is from my Apple Store invoice.I never even think to use the registration web page for Apple software, I just assume when I put in the serial number & it says my registration was sent to Apple, that's it. And I've been using iWork '08 on the family pack license since I got it around August 11 without any further registration.

  • Find Marketing Part Number

I cannot find this number to register the copy of iWork that came preinstalled on my G5. I tried the system profiler but found only the serial number, nothing on the CDs that came with the computer...

    Lorianne,
Any copy of iWork that came preinstalled on a new computer is a trial version, not a real version. You're going to need a serial number -- not a marketing part number -- in order to register it, and you have to buy the suite to get it. You can call Apple Sales at 1-800-MY-APPLE, assuming you're in the U.S. or Canada.

  • Cannot find Marketing Part Number

I recently purchased OS X 10.5.1 and iLife '08. When I tried to register them, I realized that I couldn't find the Marketing Part Number. I know it's supposed to be a letter followed by a string of numbers, and I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be on the label near the barcode. But I can't find it on either box! Help?

Did you actually buy a Leopard DVD which is 10.5.1? If so, first time I heard of it. Just curious.

    Hi,
WPA  - Wifi Protected Access, is a security password for the router. In order to connect the printer to your network, the password needs to entered. Normally default router password will be underneath router.
