There is no (plus sign) in Calendar to add an event.

There is no + (plus sign) in the Calendar app so I am not able to schedule an event?

I noticed they got rid of that feature now if you do not have iCould on. You simply have to re-enable iCloud for Calendars in the iCloud section of Settings. This won't even do anything unless you have this turned on on more than one device.

Usually, a missing new tab button is usually caused by a bad add-on.
Can you try to start Firefox in Safe Mode to see if Firefox works properly with no error? You can start Firefox in Safe Mode below:

If Firefox opens up fine with no problems, it's probably one of your extensions that's causing the issue. You can re-enable your add-ons one by one until you find the one that causes the issue upon being re-enabled.

Which problems do you have on that website?
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

For the reminders app - just tap on an open space on the ruled paper window under the heading in order to create a new reminder. Or tap on the + sign in the upper right corner of the app. You do not have the + sign on the app?
For the calendars app to go Settings>iCloud>Calendars>On. Toggle the setting on and off and the + sign should appear in the lower right corner of the calendars app. Tap the + sign to create a new event.

There used to be a plus sign to the right of my tabs. I could click it and a new tab would open up. This is missing in Firefox 4.0?

Go to Firefox -Option -Toolbar Layout- restore default set and reinstall all ittems you have and the plus sign reappears

Can't see the "plus" sign on calendar and reminders after ios5 update

Since I have update my iphone 4 I can see the "+" sign on the calendar and also on the reminder app. Also when I go to settings and into mail / calendars the phone screen tends to freeze! I have restored the phone twice but that has not solved the problem.
Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.
Was thinking if I want to redownload the ios5 update and reload / restore. Thanks.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync/delete all music and resync
- Restore from backup. See:

Calendar cannot add new events without crashing 7.0.4

App hangs and eventually closes every time upon clicking "done" when adding new events

I am having the same behavior. In the past with many major OSX upgrades this has happened and I had to get a previous copy from Time Machine. Right now my Time Machine copy is dead and I can't do it. I tried getting an older copy of iCal but it is exhibiting the same behavior!! I can't synch the calendar with my iPhone, either! No, I do not want to reinstall Leopard from scratch on this machine just to replace iCal - that is ABSURD!! This is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened. I don't have 4 - 6 hours of my time to fix this kind of problem every couple of months - not to mention several spare hard drives, etc.
What is causing this problem, and how can we get iCal back??
How about a simple iCal reinstall utility page on the Apple Web site if this is going to keep happening??

Calendar does add my event

I updated to itunes 9.1 a few days back and my iphone had been working fine. Yesterday I opened the "calendar" app to add an appointment. Once I was done with the info I pressed done...but my event didn't show up on the calendar. I did it again and still the appointment did not show up. I downgraded to iTunes 9.0.3 to see if it was a bug, sync but still new events don't show up...I tried adding it in outlook to see if it would export it but no luck.
Anyone come across this???

I have been having the same problem since upgrading to iTunes 9.1 yesterday. Every appointment that is no created in Outlook does not sync.
I have literally tried everything including running diagnostics on the sync function. I have moved, removed, re-added and even tried adding on different days. It seems that iTunes has stopped recognizing new events or appts in Outlook 2003.

The plus sign button to add new events in iCal on my iPhone is missing.

On the top, to the right of "All Calendars" there is a plus sign that is used to add events. On my 4GS I have that and a "Calendars" button. On my husband's 3GS, those buttons are missing, making it impossible to add events to his calendar. Both phones have been upgraded to iOS5.
In Settings under Calendars the phones have the following choices:
New Invitation Alerts - Both phones - both set 'on'
Sync - only on his phone - set to 'All Events'
Time Zone Support - Both phones
Default Alert Times - Both Phones
Default Calendar - my phone only - set on Calendar (as opposed to Home, Work or Untitled)
Can anyone tell me how to fix this so he can add events to his calendar?

After IOS 5, iCal is missing the Plus Sign

After I updated to IOS 5, the iCal app is missing the Plus sign. Everything else seems OK, but there is no plus sign to add a new calendar entry.
I will try to restore/backup and see if it comes back, but I'd really appreciate any advice you might have.

Just found another post, where the problem seemed to be due to the way sync with iTunes was set up. I'll check that out.
