There's a delay when I hit the record button

I currently have the MBox2 Factory & I download the drivers for the MBox & I just recently purchased Logic Express. When I hit the record button, I get the pinwheel for roughly 60 seconds before it will start recording anything. Does anyone know why this is happening?? Any feedback would be awesome!! Thanks

Open up Disk Utility in your Utilities folder, select the WD drive and it will tell how how it's formatted - at the bottom of that window.
If it's FAT32 or NTFS, quite Disk Utility, *copy all your files on that disk* to your internal drive (or burn a DVD), reformat it to Mac OS Extended Journaling OFF (these options are available when you choose to reformat) and then restore the contents to your external.
Make sure (at least 3 times) you have copies before you do any reformatting!

When I type anything in Firefox like an e-mail, spaces do not register immediately when I hit the spacebar, and it slows down my typing tremendously. I just installed Firefox today, and I had never had this problem before. Okay, I found the solution. I simply restarted my computer, and the problem has gone away...so far.

When I try to play some of the songs in my itunes library, I get a prompt saying the file could not be used. When I hit the "locate" button, it still won't locate the file. I didn't delete any of these tracks and there is no common link between them.

Can;t see the red line border around the text when I hit the Play button

On the last page I have a burgundy red lined border. However, when I hit the Play button, that red border does not show. I clicked onto it and then clicked onto: Send to front --- but when I did that, all of the text disappeared, presumable “sent to the back” since the line border was sent to the front so it could be seen.
I would like to see both text AND red border. What am I doing wrong and how can I fix it?

Lorna,
With your text box selected open the inspector and go to the shape tab. There select border then you can choose the type of border that you want the thickeness, color and even a shadow if you want. You should be able then to delete the other border that seems to be hiding your text.

Let me confess before hand I am new to the BI publisher.
I have it set I guess, I can log in could connect to the local database and generated the report but when I hit the view button, it says an error occurred contact the Administrator. I am logging in as Administrator.
Are there any configuration settings that I need to make?
I did change the model to be XDO and then I have installed BI-Publisher Desktop. I can see on my word Tool bar. Is there anything else i need to configure.
When I hit error details i get

Are there any log files which I can dig in and see what is wrong.

depending the combination of your Firefox-Version (3) and your BIP-Version (10.1.3.3.3) that happens every time. Is fixed (see Note 605403.1)

Firefox doesn't retry downloads when I hit the retry button.

i will be downloading something and it will freeze and stop downloading so i hit pause and then when i hit resume it comes with a message saying the path is unavailable or something and ends the download. then when i hit the retry button to retry the download it just goes through a quick scan and ends it right there with a partially downloaded file that nothing can be done to.

There is something you can try when this happens..
Go to your downloads folder location. If the download has failed, Firefox may have created a .part file. If your file is ''largefile.exe'', look out for ''largefile.exe.part''.
Now basically all you have to do is go to the downloads page and start downloading your file again. This time pause the download, go to your downloads folder.
Rename "largefile.exe" to "oldlargefile.exe".
Rename "largefile.exe.part" to "largefile.exe" obviously replacing the name with your own file.
Now resume your download. It should continue from where it left off.

I've resolved my problem now. It wasn't iphoto: preferences:@ that I needed but iphoto:preferences:general where there is the option to choose email for sending photos. Can't believe I missed that before.

Help! My email push isn't working even when I hit the refresh button!

Please help me. I got a Palm Pixi in December. It worked perfectly until about 2 weeks ago. It suddenly stopped pushing my email, including when I hit the refresh button! I spent many many hours on the phone with both verizon and palm, we tried starting and restarting the phone, removing and adding my accounts, we even tried a partial wipe of the phone. Nothing worked. So both verizon and palm assured me that my brand new phone must be defective, they sent me a new palm pixi promising me that my email push problems were a fluke and that it would never happen again. I got my new phone a week ago, it worked fine until yesterday- the same push problem is back! I've been on live chat with a palm technician for almost 2 hours now, we've set and reset my email settings, we've reset the account settings in the phone, and it still doesn't work!
Please somebody, tell me what the fix is for this!
I need this phone for my job.
Because this problem didn't start until the end of my 30 day trial period, I can't exchange this phone now, and I can't afford to pay retail price for a new phone so I'm stuck with this phone even though this problem is not my fault!! I have to make this work!
Verizon and Palm promised me that this problem would never happen again, that it was a one time fluke based on a defective(though brand new device)- based on this assurance, I exchanged phone and now I am stuck. I spent hours on the phone on monday with palm support updating/changing my email settings on the phone and when that didn't work he sent me the webos doctor instructions via email to try on my own. I did that last night, and guess what? It still didn't work! As per usual, the solution either doesn't work at all, or it works for a bout an hour and then stops working.

First verify that all your email settings are correct as they may have changed.
Service provider settings frequently change. If your email account was working but you are currently experiencing problems, check with your service provider to find out whether any of the account settings have changed. You may need to manually change some email settings on your device.
Next, update the PRL on the device by dialing *228 send and option 2.
If the problems persist, try doing a Master Reset on the device.

In the past when I have updated successfully, the spinning circle would show me an indicator of time left on the update. I no longer have this Indicator. The circle just spins and times out and nothing happens. I've reset the iPad in the settings menu, reset the router, logged in and out of Apple id, powered ithe iPad off and on, and tried a couple other "fixes" that I've read online. So far no luck. The History menu can only show that fixed maximum of 15 as that is hard coded.

Down load fron the Internet OmniDiskSweeper (free) and open it. It will show you all of your files and the respective sizes.
In addition, click on your HDD icon in the upper right hand corner of your desk top with COMMAND I (I as in the letter i). What does it say about the space used and available.
