There's no plus sign to add tabs?

There's nothing next to the tabs. Usually there's a plus sign to add new tabs but now it's not there. I tried googling it but no luck. Please help.

Usually, a missing new tab button is usually caused by a bad add-on.
Can you try to start Firefox in Safe Mode to see if Firefox works properly with no error? You can start Firefox in Safe Mode below:

If Firefox opens up fine with no problems, it's probably one of your extensions that's causing the issue. You can re-enable your add-ons one by one until you find the one that causes the issue upon being re-enabled.

Which problems do you have on that website?
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

I noticed they got rid of that feature now if you do not have iCould on. You simply have to re-enable iCloud for Calendars in the iCloud section of Settings. This won't even do anything unless you have this turned on on more than one device.

Assuming you have iPhoto 9 (11) give this a try: make a temporary, backup copy of the library if you don't already have one (Control-click on the library and select Duplicate from the contextual menu) and try the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - Since only one option can be run at a time start with #3 followed by #4 and #1 as needed.
3 - try adding a page after each fix.

I have lost the "New Tab" plus sign on the Tab Bar on Windows XP

When I updated to Firefox 4.0.1 on my XP system, the "plus sign" mini tab that used to be appended to the last open tab suddenly disappeared. I can obviously use the New Tab option on the Menu Bar, but I prefer the convenience of the plus sign.

No, it's not an option on the customize window. This is the plus sign that appears like a partial tab to the right of the last open tab. I did discover a "work around" - if I double click anywhere parallel and to the right of the last open tab, it will open a new tab! I still miss that that plus sign, though.

You can middle-click or CTRL + left-click the Home button on the Navigation toolbar to open the Home page in a new tab.
You can also Open New Tabs with your Favorite Pages using this add-on -> NewTabURL 2.2.3

After IOS 5, iCal is missing the Plus Sign

After I updated to IOS 5, the iCal app is missing the Plus sign. Everything else seems OK, but there is no plus sign to add a new calendar entry.
I will try to restore/backup and see if it comes back, but I'd really appreciate any advice you might have.

Just found another post, where the problem seemed to be due to the way sync with iTunes was set up. I'll check that out.

The plus sign button to add new events in iCal on my iPhone is missing.

On the top, to the right of "All Calendars" there is a plus sign that is used to add events. On my 4GS I have that and a "Calendars" button. On my husband's 3GS, those buttons are missing, making it impossible to add events to his calendar. Both phones have been upgraded to iOS5.
In Settings under Calendars the phones have the following choices:
New Invitation Alerts - Both phones - both set 'on'
Sync - only on his phone - set to 'All Events'
Time Zone Support - Both phones
Default Alert Times - Both Phones
Default Calendar - my phone only - set on Calendar (as opposed to Home, Work or Untitled)

Why can't I open a new Tab with the "Plus" sign or "Command-T"?

If I want to open a New Tab, I either press "Command T" or select "New Tab" from the File menu, or click the little "plus" sign in my Tabs bar - - - right? None of them work. What am I missing?

May users have discovered this problem is caused by Conduit add-ons, such as a Conduit plugin and/or a "Community Toolbar" extension.
You can check for and disable extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Command+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable.
Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Does that help with the "+" button? If so, could you name the specific extension that caused the problem?
You might also check the Plugins section of the Add-ons page. You can use "Never Activate" to disable plugins that you don't ordinarily use.

How do I add new user account when clicking on plus sign doesnt work?

In my iMac g4 with OS 10.3.9 I follow instructions but when I get to clicking on the plus sign to add a new account, nothing happens so I am unable to add a new account. I unlock the lock but it makes no difference. There is only one account which is my admin account. How do I proceed to get a new user account working?

Since I have upgraded my computer from Panther 10.3.9
to Tiger 10.4.(11) the preference panels may be a little
different; but they do much the same things.
Could be the system needs some routine maintenance
for the thing to work correctly; ie: repair disk permissions
and/or use OnyX (from titanium software/Panther version)
and have it run one time through with all checkbox items
checked under Automation; and have it restart after these
are all done. If there is a permissions or other system issue
behind your inability to set up a second user account, this
would be a blanket maintenance procedure that should do
no harm. (But if you try things beyond the basics, it may.)
At times, I start the computer up in SafeBoot (shift key
held down at startup) and then run "repair disk permissions"
then restart the computer normally. Usually before and or
after software updates and installations of applications.
This, that, and the other thing. It may need a little help.
You could (also) try booting the computer up from the Panther
OSX 10.3.x install disk and run "repair disk" as well as
"repair disk permissions" from Disk Utility in the menu
beneath Installer, as seen in Finder once the boot disc
is running the computer. Be sure to exit the Disk Utility
and also the Installer; and choose to restart from the
Mac's own installed system by choosing Startup Disk.
edit to add: if you clicked in that system preference box
(plus or minus) and it didn't work, and you also unlocked
the panel using your admin password; then clicked again
and chose Options or the plus/minus buttons you should
have gotten in. If you have never ran any of the routines
such as OnyX or other similar utility, this may be overdue
and also takes time. A restart after this may take a wait.

I haven't read the manual so I 'm not sure what "correct view" is referring to. When I add a contact there's a plus sign at the bottom left hand page.
