There should be a tv app made by apple for people to hook up their cable network and watch tv
People could put their cable network on their ios device and be able to watch on air and free recorder tv. There will be no charge to apple and no extra charge to the cable provider. When people buy or rent movies, apple will make some money and the provider will make some mone. Wouldn't Apple get more money I'm a subprovider on my dads cable network for verizon fios. Please do this, thanks!
This is not quite as simple as it sounds. Cable networks would have to negotiate rights to do it, and build out the infrastructure for distribution of the content. It would be a large project with a large cost for them, and Apple could really only help with the distribution end-point.

I bought a new ipad air and creaed a new account, and I used the new account buying iMovie, Keynote and Numbers on ipad air for free ofcourse... then I decided to abadon the new account and again use the old account. With the old account I bought and downloaded Pages and iPhoto --still for free of course... and I found that iMovie, Keynote and Numbers are not for free!!! Isn't it wired??

Apps are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them.
Go to https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ and re-set th password for the old one.
Then, log into the app store with it and update the apps purchased with that ID. -

first itunes store need an American apple ID with an American credit to purchase DIRECTLY from iphone and this all people outside US dont have , so no one outside US and (major countries) can download music directly from thier Iphone
Second , if we assume I can download from itunes , itunes store dont have all the music you need for example Iam in middle east I listen to arabic music and itunes dont have most of the arabic music I listen to and this is a HUGE problem for all costumers in middle east and similiar countries .
Third, mac users can download music from the internet other than itunes store even if it illegal why that ?? and NOT all free websites are illegal like (nogomistars) for arabic music .
I just want to say that I love my iphone and I love apple. But you should give iphone users a free using for their phones like you do with mac users for the reason that i gave it you above .

i have been trying to get my ibook g4 fixed from apple for 6 years now. my ram doesnt work and the logic board is f'd up aswell... i know 12 people that have had the same issue. 4 of them got there ibooks replaced. anyone know what to do? all 4 ibooks were replaced outside warranty, why wont apple help me...
Apple supports most of their computer products for a 7 year period, could be that your IBook is well past any kind of help.Secondly parts are no longer being made for this machine and never will be again. Finally I find it hard to believe that nothing has been done with this for 6 years.Have you documented the reasons why you were turned down for repairs ? were the replaced Ibooks within a couple of months of warranty expiration? What model is your IBook ? At least if we knew what the model #, some of the more techy types could find out if there were any repair programs for your model.
Seems odd that you'd hang on to a non-working IBook for that long. -
My wife and I share an iTunes account. Is there any way to set up a seperate one for her to sync her phone contacts, iCloud and music to without having to purchase all her music again and then share going forward?
It would be so much easier having seperate accounts but we have hundreds of her purchased songs on my account and she would need to be able to access these from her account. Possible?
Also, if we bought a song in future we would want to be able to both have access to it.
Alternatively, what is the easy way to sync two distinctly different contact lists to one iTunes account?

You can but you will not be able to limit what she syncs.
I would like to avoid 'checking' and 'unchecking' individual songs every time one of us tries to synch our ipods to the library.
I don't recommend using (only) the checkmarks to select what to sync.
Each of you can create your own playlists then sync only those playlists.
Then add/delete from your own playlists to change iPod content.
The only time I uncheck items is if I rarely/never want to sync them to anything, such as Christmas music or old audiobooks.
I suggest you each have your own computer login account. Then everyone has their own contacts, calendars, and everything else.
You and your husband can share an iTunes library and let your daughter have her own. -
Can somebody help me install IOS 6.1.3 back to my iPhone 4. IOS 7 or 7.0.4 is not smooth enough as perfect as IOS 6.1.3. I am stuck with this OS, every app gives a break for 4-5 seconds to open up. And playing games in this OS using iPhone 4 is really crazy. Very much disappointed that I am not able to use IOS 7 and cant go back to what I need.

Trying to update my apps but the Apple ID is wrong. Changed it in settings and rebooted. Still didn't work.
You need to delete them and then download them from the correct Apple ID. This may require repurchasing paid applications.

Whenever I want to download a free app, it asks me for 3 security questions. I answer them. Then it says "session has timed out". Then the whole process starts over. How can I get around this?

I figured out how to fix the flashing yellow screen problem that I've been having on my MBP! Yessssss!!!

I followed the instructions on this page and here's what I did:
Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
I went through the 6 steps above twice, just to make sure I got rid of whatever stuff was holding up my bootup process. Since I did that, my MBP boots up just like normal. No flashing yellow screen anymore!!

Search for an app by name.
Results show up.
I want to click the app like in iTunes to read the info about it, but the only option is to buy and install it.
Shouldn't there be an option to view the info first?Tap tapping "Developer Web Site" or "Develoepr Page, or "App Support" or "More".
Example. Open the App Store
In the search field top right corner of the window type in: Creative Postcard HD
You should see "More" on the right with a down facing arrow. That should "expand" the window providing more information. -
