There was a problem creating the backup. Please try again later. ???

Get this messages every time I try to back up. Says there was never a backup but shows 2.9GB of iCloud space has been used so ???
Grrr!
Thanks for any advice!

It solved itself, apparently. I didn't do anything other than try turning iCloud sync on every day or two, then off again if it failed. Eventually, it worked.
I did make sure to make regular backups to my Mac in the meantime, tho'.

  • There was an error saving the picture. please try again later

    Hi all,
there is one user who is trying to upload a pic in her sharepoint mysite but when she choos a pic and click on upload buttone it says "there was an error saving the picture. please try again later". I have googled it a lot and found most of the
articles saying it is related to SP1 and CU...few of them saying its a known error MS will fix it in December's 2011 CU . I checked in my environment and we are already running  April 2012 CU and SP1.
I tried uploading the pic manually to mysite host location user profile and then updating through update-spprofilephotostore but no luck.
Also activated a mysite site collection feature "Document ID service" but no luck.
Now i dont have any clue what to do, please help me its very critical...

Change the language of OS in preferences for any other, reboot your mac, open mac app store and updates would show up. Somehow worked for me and my friends Then you can go back to your orginal language.

  • There was a problem completing the backup - help.

Does anyone know why my iphone 4 continues to display 'there was a problem completing the backup, please try again later.'
My ipad2 backs up to the cloud perfectly which I updated to ios5 on 13th October.  I have only used 300 megs so far.
Iphone was updated to ios5 on the 12th October. I have asked the iphone only to backup minimal data to rule out lack of space.
I have synced to itunes numerous times. I will attempt to leave it plugged in tonight and connected to wifi to see if it does it automatically,
but it did not do this last night when the ipad2 managed to do it. Basically, when I click back up now within the iphone it displays the
'there was a problem completing the backup, please try again later.' error after 10 seconds or so.  Is it server overload still at this point or
what? Anyone got any ideas? Thanks

Stll no backup even after a night with iphone plugged in, locked and connected to wifi. Anyone got any thoughts on the matter.

  • There was a problem completing the backup

    Hi,
I purchased 500go of space on Icloud, and was hoping to make a backup of the content of my iphone5 64go.
After a few hours got the message "there was a problem completing the backupé".
Tried again and got the message again.... still, it does seem to backup because my iphone slows down my connection network as it saturates my upstream. I can feel this when connecting to the internet from my computer: it all is slower and get back to normal speed when I turn off the wifi of the iphone.
Could it be possible that the backup is still happening although I got the error message ?

Seems to be a common enough problem. I've deleted the partial failed backup from iCloud, restoring all 5Gb of storage. Then started a manual backup. After about 20 minutes I get the same error message. I have repeated this several times. According to my iTunes on my laptop I managed one backup to iCloud from there but it is pointless if u can neither backup to or restore from iCloud via my iPhone 4. I had hoped ios 5.0.1 would solve this glitch but ....
So much for "it just works".
I have yet to see any suggested fix that works for me. Any other suggestions?

  • Backup Error: "There was a problem completing the backup."

Trying to get my iPad 2 to backup to iCloud and get a message that says "There was a problem completing the backup. Please try again later." Tried signing out of iCloud and then signed back in. Still have the problem. My iPhone backs up to iCloud on the same WiFi network without a problem.

1 ipod touch has this error.  Another one will backup but shows the date as unknown.  An iPad works fine.  I can't believe it is a server error.  I can run the iPad backup at the same time as the others and it works.  Also I restored the touches to factory and the backups still failed.  Swapped AppleID's and the errors followed the Id's.   I wish there was a way to validate that the backups were good on the web side.  In the manage storage on the one that fails completely, it show there is a backup with a size  and allows you to turn off the apps that are backed up but I know it has never completed successfully.  Even iTunes updates the date of the backup in the summary panel even though it has failed.  This feedback in iTunes Summary and the Manage panel on the device could give a false sense of security.   This needs some fixing from Apple.  At least iTunes backups are working as I have restored aa few times now under iOS 5/iTunes 10.5.

  • I keep getting "There's a problem with Adobe Acrobat, please try again" pop-up messages.

I keep getting pop up's that say "There's a problem with Adobe Acrobat, please try again". I'm trying to work and can't open any .pdf files. I bought the conversion service yesterday and today today nothing works.
    Help!

    Hi Karen,
The error message you mentioned doesn't have anything to do with ExportPDF as Acrobat and ExportPDF aren't connected in any way.
Could you try the steps outlined in our Getting Started guide: http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-2412
Let us know how it goes.

  • HT4859 problem turning on phone there was a problem turning on your email. try again

I am getting a message "problem turning on phone there was a problem turning on your email. try again"

Have you tried the simple things first like a reboot...hold both the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appears and it restarts, ignoring the red slider if it appears?  Sometimes it is also necessary to remove and reenter a password in case it has been corrupted.  And sometimes I have just had a bad connection signal and that has been the issue.
