I have been trying to install Full ABAP Edition-trial version of SAP Netweaver 04s on Windows XP professional SP2. I am getting the error 'java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: run exception in thread 'main' while trying to execute 'setup.exe' in the image folder.
i have installed 'j2sdk-1_4_2_09' on the system. still i am getting the same error. can somebody help me.

I solved this problem by reinstalling the operating system.
after this, I tried to start SAP MMC, it gave another error user id and password not valid.
To avoid this problem make sure that password for administrator of the Operation system (PC or Laptop) should match the password for SAP MMC.

Illegal State Exception ; Resource resolver already closed

In my component I have a page resource. When I am trying to get the image resource of the same as below it is throwing me an Illegal State exception
Resource resource = page.getContentResource("image");
My error stack trace is as follows
Eventhough i am not closing any resource ; it is giving me illegal state exception for the resource. Please help me in finding a solution for this.

Are you calling the right path?
The call to page.getContentResource("image") will end up calling the following:

I'm experiencing exactly the same problem as you ...
The only fix I found is to use static invocation ... with static invocation, WSCompile generates a deserializer and everything works fine, no mure NullPointer exception ...
With dynamic invocation as you are trying to manage here, I didn't find any way to tell the client to use the deserializer generated with wscompile ...
Does anyone know how to do it ?

I'm kinda new to this.... Everything works fine on my Desktop machine (XP Pro), but I've tried twice now to install the SDK (1.5.0_05) on my laptop (XP Home) and here's the problem.
When I create a simple classs (see example below) and compile it, everying goes ok and I get the FileName.class result. But when I try to run it ("C:\Documents and Settings\ .... \java directory > java FileName") I get the following error statement.

Anyway for some strange reason there is no Coldfusion .NET service in my services control panel even though I am running CF8. I have since downloaded the .NET service installer, run it and done a restart but I can still see no such service and the error continues?

Tomcat Error: "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space"

Hi,
We are on BOXI 3.1 SP3. We are using Tomcat as a application server.
After certain time interval tomcat server hangs and users are unable to login to Infoview. When we checked in catalina.out file, we got error "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space". As a workaround, we restart tomcat server. That time we are unable to stop tomcat server using tomcatshutdown.sh script and we need to kill it forcefully. Once we restart the tomcat server, occupied memory free up and users are able to login to Infoview.
Below are my observations on this issue:
1. We have observed that this is not happening only during peak time/heavy load on system, but is happening during weekend as well which shows that it is not related to user load.
2. Issue occurs intermittently.
3. Tomcat is unable to release unused memory. It just adds the memory and reaches it's maximum allocated memory.
I raised SAP case for this and they suggested to add parallet garbage collector parameter. but that did not help.
Below is heap size setting for Java under /Install Dir/setup/env.sh:

I am thinking that somehow tomcat is unable to free up it's occupied memory which is not used by any object further. It just keeps adding memory and reaches its maximum threshold limit which is 1024 MB.
We have installed SP3 on server last Sunday. Issue was there before SP3 installation as well and it was occuring very rarely. But after SP3 installation, it is occuring on daily basis. Is there any known bug in SP3.

I have a macbook 15 (Late 2008) with 10.6.8 running + Safari 5.1.10 and I have experienced two problems with the Facebook chat:
1. Often (but I would say almost always) the chat window is cut below and I cannot visualize the box where to type my messages.
2. Today I have installed the FacebookVideoCalling_v1.6 to perform video calling, and what I am not able to send messages, but I always got the error: "There was a temporary error, please try again. Click to send again." Nevertheless, by following the suggestion to try later, does not solve the situation.
Does anyone experienced the same problem?
If it can be useful, I have some additional info. This the Java version I have:

Sateesh query is right one, even I would like to ask you same question.
Now you know that a particular message mapping is throwing error. This is what you need to investigate further
1. In the mapping which is giving error, is there any UDF linked to the target element "MT_FILE_TG_01_013_LIMIT/ADD/GUNPRO".
2. if the there is an UDF check if it contains codes to access ASMA such as filename or directory,Dynamic configuration, or accessing global parameters. If the UDF is doing so then it will give errors in test tab. you have to deactivate or commnet those lines of code and try again.
3. if there are no UDF linked the target field, then check the source xml using internet explorer. I assume one or more mandatory fields are missing in the source which is being mapped onto target MT_FILE_TG_01_013_LIMIT/ADD/GUNPRO. Find that field and populate the values correctly.
4. Then continue following the method I stated in my earlier post.
Finally one more question are you using a BPM or multimapping in your scenario?

The JSF version packaged starting in 11.1.2.0.0 has been upgraded to 2.0.
Jdeveloper 11.1.1.6 support is JSF 1.2.
Upgrade to JDeveloper 11.1.2.0.0.
With an earlier version of WLS (10.3.4) add the jsf library configuration for the JSF 2.0 library to weblogic.xml with exact-match set to true.

Hi ,
oracle apps version : 11.5.10.2 and database version 11.2.0.2.
OS version Solaris Sparc 64 Bit.
We were performing a cloing activity on a new server and now while opening forms we are getting the following error :
error:java.lang.Double:method parseDouble(Ljava/lang/String;)D not found.Please suggest what has to be done.

Hi,
There are number of ways to do that :
1. Try this url
http://<host-name or IP address of XI server>:<java Port number)>/rep/start/index.jsp
If this is successful that means your J2EE server and services are fucntioning fine. The problem could then be on the ABAP stack.
2. Can you start visual admin tool and check that all the services are running. You might have to manually start those which have not automatically started. Check the connectivity with all system & server (inc n/w) & Register the hostserver entry in your sys32/ host file
e.g 10.2.4.56 <server name>
3. Have you download java sdk 1.4 on you laptop?

also have a look at this sap note: 801868
(make sure not to install the 1.5 version of JWS. XI does not work properly with the 1.5 version)
4. Lastly, u might have some problem with ur JRE installation. In that case i would sugesst you to re-install JRE/ Java WebStart.
