Thermocouple channel NOT valid
I have a DAQCard-AI-16XE-50 connected to a SC-2345 that I set up to use with DasyLab 5.03.34 on a Win2000 (Ver. 5.00.2195 SP 4) IBM ThinkPad. A week of testing was done recently and everything worked as expected. Today I opened the Measurement & Automation Explorer (Ver. 3.0.2.3005) and found that all 5 of my thermocouple channels NOT valid. When I open the Test Panel, I find the error 10007 occurred at AI Group Config. I have searched the MAX help and online FAQ's for help on this. I tried "Reset driver for Traditional NI-DAQ". Can someone advise me what action I could take to get these channels working again.
Not that MAX cares, but I believe I used the "National Insturments: AY-MIO Series" driver in DasyLab. The other drivers I have available are: iotd32_e.dll, IOTdrv32.dll and NI_DRV32.dll. Which of these should I be using?

Normally, you would
prefer to measure your sensors using differential mode. This mode will try to eliminate as much noise
as possible. The problem with this
method is you have effectively reduced the amount of channels from 16 to
8. The TCOX modules will actually
measure the thermocouple using a differential amplifier circuit and measure the
CJC. The differential measurement is
then passed to DAQ board on AI (X) and the CJC measurement is passed to the DAQ
on AI (X+8). There is CJC data is always
passed to the DAQ board on AI (X+8) with these modules. There is a great circuit diagram explaining
how the modules operate on page 5 of the SCC-TC Series Thermocouple Input
Modules User Guide.
You would then use Reference Single Ended mode to measure
the Thermocouple measurements on the DAQ board.
(They were differentially measured on the module) There is a great explanation of the different
measurement modes in chapter 4 of the AT E Series User Manual. The biases resistors are not necessary;
however it might become useful if there is a lot of noise on your signal.

I am using the two SCXI-1193 rf switch configured as a Quad 8x1 Mux and I'm using NISE v2.0.1. I have created a hardwire that connects from ch0 of rfSwitch_1 to com0 of rfSwitch_2. So, for example, when I go to create a route from rfSwitch_1 com0 to ch3 of rfSwitch_2, I get the following error:
"Channel or repeated capability name specified is not valid for the instrument."
Why am I getting this error message. It seems to me that since there is a hardwire created between the two rfSwitches there shouldn't be any problems connecting a path from rfSwitch1 to rfSwitch2 between the two quad mux's.

If you do not have any hardware you would have had to simulate both SCXI-1193. The fact that you are seing all the channels in NICE virtual device but are getting error when trying to use them tells me that somthing changed in the IV configuration and that you are not using the initial topology used to read all the available channels for the 1193.
If you do not have any hardware connected to your computer then you need to follow the procedure below to ensure that the SCXI-1193 will work as expected.
First create (2) SCXI-1193 simulated in MAX:
1) Right-click Devices and Interfaces and select Create New.
2) A dialog box prompts you to select a device to add. Select NI-DAQmx Simulated Device and click Finish.
3) In the Choose Device dialog box, select Switch>>NI PCI-4021 (the switch controller is not important but you need one to be able to si mulate a chassis).
4) Create a SCXI-1000 Simulated device using the step 1) to 3)
5) Select the device created in 3) as the communicator
6) When the chassi dialog appear, select SCXI-1193 in slot 3 and 4
7) In the chassis Tab select 3: SCXI-1193 as the Communicating SCXI Module Slot. By default the SCXI-1193 are configured as Quad 8x1
Now you can create a NISE virtual device just like if you had (2) SCXI-1193 connected to your computer. Note that logical names and driver sessions have been created for both SCXI-1193 (need to close MAX and reopen) with correct entries. If you follow this procedure you will not encounter any more issue working with simulated hardware.

the error is raised from the trade promotion CCA check - raised from method CL_CRM_MKTGS_PD_CCA_CHECK_HDLR~CHECK. There are the following checks performed:
* There are several checks to do based on the distribtion chain
* Execute the checks and identify which products fail which check
1. * Determine if the product passes the distribution chain check
2. * Determine if the product category 1 of the product assignment
* passes the product category check
3. * Determine if the product category 2 of the product assignment
* passes the product category check
4. * Determine if the product group of the product assignment
* passes the product group check
5. * Determine if the sales status of the product is set to blocked
You may also need to check the sales and distribution data of the product category or product group of the mentioned product, if this is assigned to any.

RSS Channels Not Working in V3 Admin
Hi All,
After creating a RSS channel in BC Admin V3, everytime I use "Actions" to attempt to either "Add RSS channels to a webpage" or "Get RSS html code"; the pop-up window appears momentarily then shuts again?
Also, there doesn't appear to be RSS Channels in the modules toolbox in V3 (or in DW CS6)?
Switching admin back to V2, everything works OK.
Is this just my PC (Windows 7 - 64 bit), or is anyone else having same issue.

I have taken a look at the RSS feed that you have referenced in your video and it does appear to be generating (if you were to open up the RSS feed in another browser such as Firefox and view the source code, you will see that the content is there). The problem here appears to be that the feed is not valid, which is causing IE not to display the feed.
I have run a validation test on that specific feed and it appears the problem is with a special character on line 21. If you remove that special character from the blog post it resides in, your feed should then update soon and then validate.

Toshiba 40TL938G blue screen on initial screen page - service not valid

today my Toshiba 40TL938G give me a bad joke.
When i power on tv it give me a message on blue screen (like windows) that tell me

I cannot do nothing.
Remote cannot control nothing, phisical key on tv not work, only power on and off...

CarloNo, as far as I know and according to user manual which I could find in the net, there is no button reset combination. To reset the TV you have to go to the settings.
But if this isnt possible I think you will need to contact an service guy to check the TV. -

Just to elaborate a bit on the neterprise stru assignment
Check the sales area that you are using to create a sales order.
Check if the sales area is assigned properly to the Credit Control area.
Check if the Delivering plant is assigned to the cos code.
Check if the sales org is assigned properly to the Cos code.
Check if the sales org and distribution channel is assigned to the plant.
Check if the Distribution channel is assigned to the sales org
Check if the Division is assigned to the sales org
Then create the material for the sales area and plant. or extend it for that plant by using MM50.
Lastly create a customer in the cos code and for the specific sales area.
If you do each step systematically then you wont face any probs.

That issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Nice done apple, first you release an overpriced and unstable 1.0 release, then you realize that this was maybe not the smartest move and try to ease the pain of all the early adopters by creating a 200$ e-cupon. Very nice. But why on earth does this only apply to USA customers?
Really, what's the statement of this different treatment between USA and the rest of the world? It was not cheaper in my country and it had (well, still has) the same bugs as the 'american' version.
And anway, you really make it hard to get the coupon, he? Printing out a paper, writing down the license key? I mean, you are selling iPods to digitize music and can't manage to create a web form??

In general it works, but when I double clicking or using the scoll wheel, an error message appears:
"Property value is not valid"
Details: "Object of type 'System.String' cannot be converted to type 'myCompany.myProject.CC_myCustomProperty."
I noticed that the CommitValue method (in PropertyGridView.cs) tries to convert a string value to a CC_myCustomProperty object.

If statement is not validating properly in JSP
Actually i'm new to Java..
The problem is when i take the parameter from another file which is an empty text box and i submit that. In the next jsp file i'am taking this value using getParameter("xxxx").
if i send the empty or some value to this parameter, the if statement is not validating properly.

with == but with the standard method .equals This is true but is not the problem here.
@OP null and an empty length string are NOT the same thing. You probably want a check like
if(bgColor.length()<1)And you might want to trim the String first to get rid of whitespace.
