These drivers are causing Windows to resume slowly

I have seen the posts below
ATI Radeon Kernel Mode Driver Causing Windows to Resume Slowly
ATI Radeon kernel mode driver causing windows to resume slowly/ event ID 351- using Windows 7 x64
ATI Radeon kernel mode driver causing windows to resume slowly (Win7 x64)
These drivers are causing Windows to resume slowly
ATI Radeon kernel mode driver causing Win 7 x64 to resume slowly...
However in my case I have a lenovo W540 with Windows 7 Professional, Service Pack 1. The message I get is different than the above posts. The drivers mentioned are:
1. Name: Intel Graphics Kernel Model Driver, Filename: igdkmd64.sys, Publisher: Intel Coorporation, Device: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
2. Name: NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 312.69, Filename: nvlddmkm.sys, Publisher: NVIDIA Coorporation, Device: NVIDIA Quadro K2100M
3. Name: RealTech Wifi Display VGA Adapter, Filename: RtlvVga.sys, Publisher: Realtech Semiconductor Coorporation, Device: Realteck Wifi Display VGA Adapter.
My Windows indeed are resumed slower than when I boot up the laptop.
Thanks

Hi,
For this problem, you can also use Performance Recorder to captuer the process of system Resume from sleep.

  • WHY ARE MY WINDOWS OPENING SO SLOWLY?

my 2x3 GHz Dual-core intel Xeon is running 10.7.5.  All of a sudden there is a long delay when I click on any of my drives or open new windows. Its not every time but almost. I ran disk warrior and it said everything was ok. not sure how to proceed.
    Ideas?
    thanks!

When you have the problem, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.
These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Scroll back to the time you noted above. Select the messages entered from then until the end of the episode, or until they start to repeat, whichever comes first. Copy the messages to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.

  • I need to find out which processes in my labview programme are causing it to execute slowly?

Basically, I require a program that takes readings from my apparatus every tenth of a second and writes it to my hard drive.  It starts fine but after 30 seconds or so it slows down to one reading per second.  My program is pretty lean but there must be something in there that is slowing it down.
What can i use to to get a read-out of what processes my program is conducting and how long they take in order to find out what is cuasing delays in the execution?

My guess is that your program does a lot of unecessary things. It would help if you could attach a simplified version of your code.
How are you writing to the HD? (express VIs, storage VIs, lowlevel file IO, a new file with every write, appending to an existing file, etc. ? Binary file, formatted text, etc.)
Do you keep the file open for the duration of the run or are you constanty opening and closing the file?
How much data is in one "reading"? (bytes, kilobytes, megabytes ?)

  • Video Drivers in Windows 7 64 bit cause Windows to crash after reboot

I have a Mac Mini mid 2011, I installed Windows 7 64 bit through Bootcamp. After the install I install the Mac drivers. I have narrowed it down to the video card drivers are causing Windows to crash on reboot. Are there other drivers I can use? Am I doing something wrong?
Thank you in advance for any help or advice.

  • Universal print drivers are all missing from HP websites

I see the drivers website has undergone a transition, and the new site is terrible.  Some printers that are PS capable no longer have links for PS drivers.  The worst issue though, is the universal drivers are completely missing and unavailable, and yet they are now the most important driver as HP has ceased listing individual drivers for so many models.  All links go to the PARK, and there are no driver downloads anymore.  Even the tutorial video for using PARK includes getting drivers from links that no longer exist on that site.
WE NEED THESE DRIVERS BACK IMMEDIATELY OR WE CAN'T USE YOUR PRINTERS HP!!

    Hi there,
Thanks for your patience with me and for the additional information.  That was really helpful!  I went to the site you noted (www.hp.com/go/upd) and clicked on Download Software.  I selected Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit) from the drop-down.
I went to the next page, scrolled down to the Downloads section and I see PCL5 , PCL6, and PostScript (PS)  drivers available for download.  I clicked on the blue Download button, clicked Run, and got a WinZip Self-extractor. So the downloads appear to be working.  These drivers are for Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 2012, Windows 7.
I feel like I've missed something here as PCL drivers aren't my specialty (as you may have guessed) - but the downloads do appear to be there.  Can you take a look and let me know?
    Thanks!
    Tara

  • Why can I not update these drivers in Windows Boot Camp?

Hi. I own a MacBook Pro Late 2011.
    I also have a CD for a Windows 7 Home Premium single full-install 32-bit.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5634
On that page, it says that for my computer, I need Boot Camp 4 to update my drivers, but when I downloaded it and tried using it in my Windows partition, it said something like, "These drivers are not intended for this version of Windows," or something to that effect...
I also tried running the drivers my Mac automatically downloaded for me, but that said they were only intended for 64-bit
That same link said that Windows 7 Home Premium was supported, so I downloaded the newest version of Boot Camp Support Software 4 and tried it and ran into my problem. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? Thanks!!!

I was able to solve this myself by realizing: (a) Windows 8.1 upgrade had changed my display adapter to a Windows Basic Display Adapter, (b) AMD's web site doesn't apparently host installers that work for the Retina iMac (yet?), and (c) the Boot Camp package that Boot Camp Assistant adds to your Windows installer contains a version of AMD Catalyst that will work and will replace the errant driver:
    The installer is in <WININSTALL>:\Bootcamp\Drivers\ATI\ATIGraphics\Setup.exe
    Run install
Verify in Device Manager that the Display adapter is AMD... M29{0,5}X
Finally, I was able to update resolution:

  • I installed windows 7 on my macbook pro. all is working but lan adaptor and sound od laptop is not working. please help me or send the link where i can download the these drivers.

I installed windows 7 on my macbook pro. all is working but lan adaptor and sound od laptop is not working. please help me or send the link where i can download the these drivers.I have lost my resource cd .

If you are running Lion or Mountain Lion, the drivers are downloaded from within Bootcamp Assistant. If you are running Snow Leopard the drivers are on your Snow Leopard install disk.
Read the Bootcamp Install Guide for your version of OSx. http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/
Bootcamp questions should be asked in the Bootcamp forum where the Bootcamp gurus hang out https://discussions.apple.com/community/windows_software/boot_camp

  • Where are the Windows Drivers?

    Hi,
When I run Bootcamp 2.0 And try to partition the drive for Vista bootcamps says..."After you have installed and set up windows, insert your Mac OS X Leopard install disc to install additional drivers and other software for windows."
So I went looking on my install discs. I cant figure out where these Windows drivers are. Anyone know?

You can also find the drivers in the boot camp download page. Depending on your flavor of Windows (32bit or 64bit), you'll download different updates for Boot Camp 2.1.
    Go here - http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/
On the upper right corner of the screen you will see the Software Updates section. Click on the appropriate link to download the file you need. The files that you download are Windows executables and should only be downloaded in Windows. They can also be run directly from the website, but clicking the Run button (instead of Save) after you click the appropriate download link.
    Hope that helps!

  • Windows Deployment Services 2012 - Driver Group filter by Model value not working - Drivers are not installed!

    Hi,
I'm using Windows Deployment Services 2012 to deploy Windows 7 Pro x64 driverless images to different hardware models (drivers are injected using WDS). I already have organized the drivers in driver groups per
hardware model. I'm experiencing driver conflicts so I decided to start using driver group filters to make sure that the driver groups are available only available for the corresponding hardware model.
To get the correct values for the filters i have used the following method: (as described in this article: http:// technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd759191.aspx)
    so I checked msinfo32.exe
(System Manufacturer: Dell Inc.     System Model: OptiPlex 790)
and set these values in the driver group filter:
Then fired up WDS using PXE booting on my OptiPlex but when finished: No drivers are installed! I investigated further and found on forums to use the following commands (which return the same values btw):
    wmic bios get manufacturer
    (returns: Dell Inc.)
    wmic computersystem get manufacturer
    (returns: Dell Inc.)
    wmic computersystem get model
    (returns: OptiPlex 790)
Values are the same so no problem there.
Then I checked the output of the following commands:
wmic bios get model (returned: error, invalid query)
wmic bios get /all (returned: all kind of information but no model value)
When I remove the value "OptiPlex 790" from the filter list the drivers are installed correctly. So this has to be some problem with the Model value.
    Could someone please help me?
As a workaround I now disable all the driver groups exept the one that I need for the hardware. But as more new hardware models are added this is a lot of work to do everytime.
    Extra info:
    I'm using a WINPE 4.0 image (windows 7 media boot.wim file). 6.1.7.601
Windows Server version: Windows Server 2012 - version 6.2 (Build 9200) - All Windows updates are installed
    Windows Deployment Services version 6.2.9200.16384
Having this problem on multiple systems
    Questions:
    - Does WDS/WinPE uses only the Bios values for determining system info? (then this problem could be with Dell in this example, because no model value is available)
    - Is this the correct way to set up driver group filters? (then this is a problem with MS. Does anyone have solution??)
Thank you for your answers & help!

    Hi Microsoft,
I still have no answer to my Questions.
Thank you for your answers & help!

  • How are Bootcamp 5.0 drivers working on Windows 7 64-bit?

    Hello,
I was wondering how the Windows 7 64-bit Bootcamp 5.0 Drivers are behaving. In this forum, I have read reports about the internal keyboard in MacBook Pros failing after installing the 5.0 drivers. A case like this is referenced in the forum post below:
No wired USB Apple-keyboard or USB-Mouse found under W7 64bit after Bootcamp drivers 5.0.5033
Could this be only a one-time issue? or I am planning to install Windows 7 on my MacBook Pro since installing OS X Mountain Lion 10.8 back in July. You can say procracination took over.
Many thanks in advance for your assistance!

You're trying to use a 32 bit Oracle Client with 64 bit SQL Developer.
You're doing something in SQL Developer that's requiring us to load OCI - in your connection properties, use Network Alias instead of Connect Identifier for TNS, or make sure in your Advanced settings you don't have 'Use OCI/Thick driver' enabled.
Or, install a 64 bit copy of the Oracle Client and tell SQL Developer to use that home instead.

I have an older Mac Pro (2006). I want to install Boot Camp and Windows. I have installed a boxed Snow Leapord on the machine. And it says the download of the Boot camp drivers cannot continue because they are not available. But at that point I have not inserted a windows disk, so how does it know i have XP?
So it appears I am limited to Windows 7? And where are the Windows 7/Boot Camp Drivers? On the OS disk?
Finally, since I have necer considered Windows 7 before, I assume there are no compatability issues with mainstream applications that were running in XP?
    Thank you.

    You're welcome
Just remember to reformat the partition (bootcamp partition) to NTFS with the windows installer, ensure to pick the correct partition.
