Things go back to how they were when I click "okay"

Hi,
I have a black fine line drawing, which is grey-scale. I wish to make the lines bolder/darker. I tried adjusting the tone-curve under "image" and the preview button was of course selected.I adjusted the line so things appeared darker (as I want) but as soon as I click "okay" to go onto other things, the drawing goes back to how it was before (there doesn't appear to be a save button). Can you help?

If you're printing with a digital printer, you should be getting a proof, period. A press proof. Then you adjust the pictures. Until you get a feel for how they will look on screen vs on press, you should be getting pricing based on a two-proof cycle. One to see how your first guess turned out, and another to see that your changes were correct.
Re my comment in post 1: "Be mindful of the fact that you may want this file to be a bitmap when you're done, for optimal print quality."
I would not send bitmap files to a color copier. Maybe someone can speak to the brands/processes that handle bitmaps better than grayscale (if any).
If this is a common format (fine line art) for you to output, it might be good for you to run some proofs that consist only of test images and decide for yourself what resolution and thickness of line look best. They'll be worth the money.

I tried the first aid tasks but the issue is still there. I have more info now though. It's not a problem with merging.
The problem is that new projects are being generated everytime aperture starts (with the same name, ie 01, 02.... and 01 (1), 02 (1) .....)
When aperture start, it shows "importing". When I click on importing, it goes into the activity box. In the activity box, has many lines as below. The added projcts are all empty. It's annoying because i have many useless projects being generated.

To be completely honest, FCPX is a RAM hog. It just is. But, RAM is relatively cheap, and the pay-off is good.
4GB is right on the edge, IMHO. 16G is ideal.

No,its not possible to rearrange to default where they were.
You need to re arrange them again manually.

Sessionrestore occasionally does not show my tabs as they were when I closed Firefox, but as they were some time before I closed it.

Occasionally Sessionrestore doesn't show my tabs as they were when I closed Firefox, but as they were at some seemingly random (but persistent if trying again) point between starting and ending my previous session. Occasionally they're exactly as they were when I started my last session. I'm currently using Firefox 5, but the problem was already present when I was still using 4. Perhaps it's also relevant that I tend to have lots of windows and tabs open, sometimes to the point of crashing Firefox.

I've increased my window limit to five too, though I'm unsure if I understand it's function correctly, I've reloaded more then three windows through session restore in the past. Anyway, that didn't have an effect. I haven't used app tabs at all yet, so I doubt that could be the problem. As for closing down Firefox correctly, the problem seems to persist regardless of how Firefox closes, be it a crash, killing it in task manager, or through file>exit. I forgot to mention this earlier, but I've monitored sessionstore.js, and it seems like that file literally stops being modified at some point, regardless if I keep browsing. If there's a way that I could "reliably duplicate" the process, I'd love to help, just say what I should do. It's been happening pretty much every browsing session lately, it seems that if I just browse for a decent while it's bound to happen.

There are two ways to reset an iPhone, 1) the user actually using the iphone can perform a reset from Settings, and 2) a user to knows the iphone's iCloud ID and password and do a remote reset.
I'm assuming you didn't personally reset it while on the iPhone, so my question is ... does anyone else know your iCloud ID and password? Have you set up multiple devices (perhaps belonging to other members of your family - something you generally shouldn't do, if you don't want to sync the same data to all devices in the family) and used the same iCloud ID on all of them? Perhaps a family member or a "friend" of a member used Find My iPhone to locate yours and remote wiped it.

I have an Apple ID and a password, but when I try to sign in I am asked to review my account. When I click okay, it takes me to the billing information page and since I do not use or have a credit card anymore, I want to change the payment option, but there does not seem to be anyway to change this, as the only options available for payment are three different types of credit cards. How do I edit this information so I can pay by PayPal or have the payment option as none? I would like to be able to purchase music using a PayPal account. I have sent three emails to support and have not been able to fix this problem. Would appreciate any help on how I can change the payment information.

I seem to have mistakenly changed the settings so the several email accounts are no longer displayed in the way that was familiar to me.
I find it difficult to describe but although the counter shows several thousand emails, they were not displayed unless, somehow I manged to get the in boxes separated from the rest of the accounts - that is a very poor description of the problem, I hope someone will tell me how to return things to the original default settings I had several years ago and before numerous updates.

When i change my settings in: Tools Options, they wont save when i click okay, they just revert back and re-set themselves. How can i make them permanently save?

I am trying to change my cookie setting in the privacy tab. i change the drop down box to custom settings and hit [okay]. But when i go back 'onto the options it has re-set the setting back to how it was before i changed it. The websites i am trying to access will still not let me because of cookies not being enabled. Any help on getting these setting to change, and stay changed would be much appreciated.

My events photo albums have all been renamed with a number followed by IMPRT instead of the date which was how they were originally named. Also the photo now showing on the top of each folder is not actually in that folder. How do I restore?

This happened when I linked to itunes. Any idea how to restore it to how it looked before?

One thing that I find odd is that iTunes used to rebuild the .itl file when you deleted it. It seems as if the newer iTunes somehow broke this old capability. If you delete the .itl file it can't rebuild it- it simple treats this as if this is a fresh installation and completely ignores the fact that the .xml file has all the data in it. I think Apple needs to bring back this old "feature". Of course, the negative with that was that you lost all of the "Date Added" info along with some other stuff but at least it still kept the favorites info etc. (and I think maybe even the path although I don't believe I ever tried that because my account path has never changed until now).
One side note: I can't find where the iTunes Windows SDK is. I was hoping to try to use that to access the .itl "database" and write a utility to fix this situation. Seems like this has moved from its original location...
