Things have just got a LOT worse! I need HELP plea...

I posted earlier (yesterday) on the thread about the problems reading emails. "New BTemail - what a load of rubbish!!!" This seems to have been closed/solved.
On there I was advised there to set up Windows Live Mail which would syncronise with the webmail I have been using and retain all my many folders and emails.
Posts on there indicated I needed to check if my current provider was POP or IMAP. I have failed in this quest. After trying for nearly two hours I cannot find the answer!!
Can someone please tell me where I should look for this information?
Also, as part of my quest for POP? or IMAP? I checked Outlook Express and it looks as if in doing so all my BTmail INBOX has migrated there!! I didn't ask it to or alter any settings. I now have no mail in my Inbox but fortunately they are still in Outlook Express so not lost forever but I'd like them back please. The rest of my folders haven't moved over.
I am so unhappy I'm fast losing the will to use a pc ever again.
Can someone here please help OR Do I need to contact the BT help people.

How to copy the mail from Outlook Express to WLM is explained below.
Find and copy the entire Outlook Express data folder on Windows XP. To find the location of the message store, go to OE's Tools, Options Maintenance tab and click on Store Folder button.
Select and Copy the folder path in the Store dialog. It should look something like the following, if you were using the default folder path:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{FA572F59-2087-498C-A7A9-F546571D6ECF}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
Close the dialogs and OE and paste the folder path in Windows Explorer's address bar. Press Enter. This will open Explorer to the location of OE's dbx files. Copy the contents of the entire Outlook Express folder, including the folders.dbx file to the Windows 7 computer, placing it in your My Documents folder. If you are moving it on a USB drive, you don't need to copy it to the Windows 7 hard drive, Live Mail can read the files from the USB drive.
Import Outlook Express Email into Live Mail
Download and install the Microsoft Live Mail client
Open it and go to File, Import Messages.
Select to import from Outlook Express 6
Browse to the Outlook Express folder you copied from the old computer.
Select the folders you want to import and finish the wizard.

Just got iPhone 4s 8gb and need help

I was forced into getting a new phone. I liked the LG I had, with a pull out keyboard, but of course it went berzerk exactly one year and one month later, so one month after warranty expired. I was sort of talked into (yes, I went along with it) getting an iPhone. My first "smart phone," and I've never felt so dumb. I really hate it right now but will try to learn it.
No one at the store would tell me anything. There was no manual in the box. I had to be told by someone at work to tap Safari and then find the manual -- they couldn't even tell me THAT at the store ?! How would I know "Safari" means anything?
Also, since "tapping" wasn't working at all for me, I had to get that stylus pen thing and I kept asking the woman "isn't there a case where you can have both the phone and the pen together? Where am I supposed to put this pen thing without constantly having to look for it?" She just basically ignored me and made me buy a case that was useless because she went along with my question about there being no case that holds the pen. Now I'm told that of course there are cases like that -- somewhere !! Not in that store though ! I feel so ripped off.
Anyway, how do I know if I'm being charged when I go to YouTube etc. from my phone now. I have no idea what my bill is going to be. The store is right across the street from me, but the people are useless there. Can someone tell me the best way to get the best information about the phone and also about my account ???

You had to add a data plan to your plan (you stated this is your 1st smartphone so I assume you are in one of the newer tiered plans) so the first question is, what plan do you have? You can track your data usage by logging in to My Account on verizonwireless.com. As long as you don't go over your alloted data plan then you won't be charged extra for using data. You can cut down on data usage by using wifi access whenever possible.
As far as a case that fits your needs...you can search the internet to see if something fits what you're looking for. I don't use a stylus so I can't recommend anything but maybe someone else can. If you aren't happy with the case you already purchased you can simply take it back for a refund.
Apple.com is one of the best places to get support info on things related to your new iPhone. You can also download the manual on there (and print it out if you prefer having a physical copy). http://support.apple.com/manuals/
If your local VZW store offers classes on the iPhone 4s then you may benefit from taking it. It is free. You would need to check the website or call your local store to find out if and when they next have one. If there is an Apple store in your area you can also take a class with them to learn about your new iPhone.

If the iBook came with recovery discs you might find iLife would be on there (although usually an older version.)
The only way to get Photobooth is to upgrade your iBook to OS X Leopard, but remember it will be useless you have a Webcam. You can purchase iLife '08 (which includes iMovie, iPhoto, iWeb, GarageBand, iDVD) too.
What are the specs of your iBook? You need an 867 Mhz or faster G4 to be able to install Leopard.

Unpair the headset from the phone with the problem. Restart the phone (hold HOME and SLEEP until an Apple logo appears), the pair the headset again. Also, look for things nearby that may be causing interference in the Bluetooth band. Cordless phones are a common cause of interference.

Contrary to the opinion above, I see no reason whatsoever why you can't set up the new iPad from the backup of the old one. Obviously you will have app updates to make and complete and that sort of thing, but if you want to retain all of your app data and device settings (some of which will change because of the updated iOS), I would certainly restore from the backup first.
If you find that to be problematic, you can always start all over again.

But you'll have to use your Apple ID to sync bought media to her device. Disable all other things you don't want to sync like photos, contacts, etc.

Apple's Setup Guide for the Time Capsule is pretty simple and clear for most users, and you don't indicate at what point or step that you are getting stuck.
So, please go to page 8 in your Setup Guide to review the topic of Plugging In Your AirPort Time Capsule.
The Sky hub will likely have 4 Ethernet <--> ports on the back of the device. Pick any one that you want and connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the port that you choose.
Then, connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the WAN (circle of dots) port as shown in the Setup Guide.
Continuing with the instructions on page 8 of the Setup Guide, power up the Time Capsule by connecting the power cord from the back of the Time Capsule to a wall AC jack.
Note that the instructions indicate that the indicator light will be solid amber during startup, and it will change to blinking amber during the setup. The light will remain blinking amber until you have configured the Time Capsule at which time the light will turn green.
Next, go to page 12 of the Setup Guide to see the information to Use your Mac or iOS device to set up your AirPort Time Capsule.
You indicated in your tag line that you were using OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3), and since that will exceed the minimum requirement of a Mac using OS X (10.7.5) as noted in the guide, you can use your Mac to set up the Time Capsule.
Continuing with the instructions on page 12 of the Setup Guide......
1. Open AirPort Utility on your Mac. It is located as follows: Finder (the smiley face on the dock) > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility
2. Select your AirPort Time Capsule and click Continue. You won't be able to do this, but read further......If you do not see the AirPort Time Capsule that you want to configure, choose it from the WiFi status menu in the menu bar, at the top of the screen.
So, clicking on the WiFi icon will yield a small window that looks like this:
The example below shows an AirPort Extreme. You will see Time Capsule on your screen. Click on Time Capsule.
When you click on Time Capsule, that will get the setup wizard going. it will take a minute to analyze the network, then display a screen that looks similar to the illustration below, except that you will see a picture of a Time Capsule on your screen
3. Continuing with the Setup Guide.......Follow the onscreen prompts to create a new network
Network Name...........Type in a simple name that you want to call your network. Do not use the suggested name.
Base Station Name....Type in a simple name that you want to call the Time Capsule. Mine is TC, for example.
Password...................Type in a password that will be used for both the network and the Time Capsule. Write that down.
Verify..........................Type in the password again to Verify
Click Next
The setup wizard will configure everything for you. When you see the message of Setup Complete, click Done.
The Time Capsule is now set up and it will display a green light.

Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

Do a factory reset .. nothing will be deleted from your backups and you will be able to get access to them again.
The Factory Reset Gen1-4.
Unplug your TC. Hold in reset. and power the TC back on.. without releasing reset for about 10sec. When the status light flashes rapidly; release it.
Be Gentle! Feel the switch click on. It has a positive feel.. add no more pressure after that.
TC will reboot after a couple of minutes with default factory settings and will wipe out previous configurations.
No files are deleted on the hard disk.. No reset of the TC deletes files.. to do that you use erase from the airport utility.

The storage you who have purchased is iCloud storage, it is not extra storage on your iPad, you cannot add extra storage space to your iPad.
